Absolutely worst experience at the Quarry in 20+ years. Seriously. My father's wife & I made an appointment at 1300 to get mani/pedis. We arrived 10 minutes early. There were four people waiting to be seen. There were plenty of open stations, but not enough employees. Now, I'm stopping here to state, it is COVID Delta season. I was happy to see everyone wearing masks & social distancing. But, the rudeness of the woman who was supposed to greet, & I suppose the manager - were less than subpar. This was to be my 2nd time ever having a pedicure & 1st time ever having a manicure done. This is a luxury in life, not a habit for myself. My father's wife does have her hair & nails done weekly. So, when I saw all the people waiting, I asked the very rude woman in a pink sleeveless blouse , if they had appointments too. She literally waved them off, & stated no they were only walk-ins. (Um, rude! That is still revenue for the establishment.) Point being, I guess, is they would get seen eventually. Well, after we waited around until 1517 we were seated in one of the open chairs. My father's wife was told, abruptly, to sit in another chair for some reason. ‍ We waited another 8 minutes, & I said NOPE! I am out. No one ever came up, asked what we wanted, or gave us the "menu" of options. We wanted the works. This was a treat for me. So, because she insisted on paying, I was not going to have this woman be rude to her. I got up. I told the women sitting around the door that they had more patience to get treated rudely than I did, & walked out. We called another place just up the road, across from Trader Joe's, made an appointment, again. Walked in & were greeted very nicely, & were treated lovely. Two gentlemen did our treatments & we felt wonderful at that location. But, Quarry Nails - I do not recommend, nor will I ever be back. read more

She was able to get a mani-pedi done by the time I was able to get my nails completely done. Cathy did my nails. Loved how she was very attentive to details and took her time. Omg, I paid 138 for a full nail set, a massage on my feet, which is like the honey experience and shellac on my toes and my toes came out awful. They left my nails crooked and it looks like a two-year-old painted it. I went in to try to relax because I've had a long day, and I somewhat relaxed a little too hard by closing my eyes while I was sitting in the massage chair, getting my feet done . I am being generous by giving 2 stars because I had way higher expectations considering the location. Instead I was rudely rushed to pick a color for my nails. Rushed to the pedi chair where the tech really cut up my feet with her aggressive style. I was supposed to get a leg wax treatment with my pedi, but didn't and was still charged for it. As if not bad enough, it waited over 1 hour for them to get to my mani. I was rushed around between 3 nail techs. Instead of relaxing I had to aware of the time because I had many other things to do. I thought I would try new salon because I wanted it to be special for my son's wedding. Now I have to go get my nails redone because after all that, the mani is awful. Very Rude and not one single apology. They acted like they were doing me a favor despite their neglectful behavior and me being a paying customer. Felt like discrimination to me. I had to point this out to the guy doing my pedicure and my toe was facing him and he didn't even acknowledge it. I pointed it out because my toe was burning in the water and he kept touching it and it was bleeding. We tipped $27 on a $110 bill because that is the kind of people we are. One would think a discount was in order. This is not the first time this has happened here, it's hit or miss. This is totally unacceptable and I will not be back. Avoid the uncomfortable atmosphere, the cold welcome and the employees getting a "talking to" right in front of thr entrance. Client care and courtesy is how business creates continued revenue.. my daughter had to ask if they were open, then was told to go in, sign in, wash her hands and pick a color. Well, she hadn't been there before. After crouching down on a low table to sign in, she wandered around like a lost puppy looking to wash her hands. A man appeared and guided her to the station. She then was instructed by the woman who seemed to be the owner to pick a color and go sit "over there".. which was on a side where there are pedi chairs and a row of chairs with stations. She sat in front of a roll of paper towels and someone's personal bag (an employee's) and waited. She waited for over 5 minutes and saw no one. She called me and said "this isn't good .. I wanted to give them a chance (she recently moved to the Pearl) ... but this isn't a good feeling and it's tense in here". I told her to leave .. as she did a nice young woman asked her if she was ok to which she replied "I'm good I'm just going to go somewhere else". The lady appeared again rushing toward her..."we can do your nails now .. it will be quick". No thank you!!! She left and realized someone was calling her (she checked in with her number) she answered and promptly hung up... very strange behavior and horrible customer service. I will say my youngest daughter goes to the gym in the center and had her nails done and didn't complain other than the time it took .. I noticed when i went in to pick her up she was seated chairs away from her friend. We live closer to Impressions off the 281 and wilderness oak so that is our main salon.. they ALWAYS seat friends and family together.. it's a fun experience generally to share together. Not at quarry.. it's an assembly line and I don't like spending money on a task that is a treat for me and my girls. read more

This is the worst nail salon, and I've been to a ton, that I've ever been to. My nails turned out good. However, terrible customer service. All of the techs, including the owners, are stone faced. No smiles. They're like robots. One of the techs (the one that did my toes) asked me a question & I told her no. And, I didn't whisper it. Loud enough for her to hear me. Then, she screamed the question again. I told her NO. And, that I answered her question the first time she asked. It's almost like you're bothering them. I'm from out of town. One of the worst places I've ever been too. Don't let the location fool you to believing this is an upscale place because it's not. I went to get a simple pedicure as a walk in. My friend and I were seated and we waited 10-15 minutes which was not bad. They asked if we wanted a drink and we said yes and the hostess seemed annoyed that we wanted one. We placed an order and she came back and said the drink shaker was broken so she couldn't make us anything?!? So that was disappointing. When the lady came to do my pedicure I told her I wanted the basic with shellac as this was my first time at this location and I was wanting to try out this place. I also told her my friend was treating to a pedicure so the bill will be together. I swear she spent a total of 12 minutes from start to finish. Shellac was another 8 minutes and she was done. While my friend who was getting the same thing was still getting her toenails filed. When my friend was finally done we walked to the counter to pay, my friend was treating me so she stood in line to pay for both of us. I moved out of the way as the area was congested and I had already told my lady that my friend was paying for both of us. She proceeded to get loud and say "you have to pay" "you have to pay" as if I was making a run for it. My friend was at the counter paying with a card. It was embarrassing. Sad to say she didn't receive a tip nor will we be returning. Go somewhere else where they will treat you better. read more
