Self care is so important and I was so excited that a massage place opened up near my house. I ended up getting deep tissue massage and I asked them to focus on my back because that is where I carry most of my stress. I left feeling like a new woman. The location is really nice and clean. When you arrive they great you and take you to another section where you can get water while you wait. You have the option of getting add ons and next time I go I want to try the host stones. My favorite place to come to relax. The spa itself is beautiful and has a nice waiting area where they offer you water & has relaxing music playing throughout with dimmed lighting to help get you in the right relaxed mindset before getting a massage. I received a deep tissue massage from Robert & it was relaxing, he also did a great job talking through which muscles were extra tense. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for their membership service and look forward to coming every month for my massage. I visited here shortly after they opened last year. I have since purchased a membership and go every month! The spa is clean, calm, and well-run. I love how they send you any forms that need to be filled out before hand via email. You can fill them out at home and not have to worry about anything once you arrive. I have randomly selected a different masseuse each time as I don't have a preference and each time I have had a wonderful experience. I got there about 10 min before my appointment, didn't need to fill out paperwork because I had filled it online prior to arriving. So I was invited to use their hydration therapy chair while waiting for my massage therapist. The ladies at the front are really nice and helpful btw. The prices are reasonable and seems like they've got specials/discounts going on every now and then. April gave me one of the best massages I've received in years. She took her time, applied the perfect pressure, really worked out all my knots, stretched out my arms/legs, and was just amazing overall. Rachelle provided me with a facial. This was my second facial I've ever received and I gotta say that it was 100% better than my first. I think I might have even taken a small, light nap during the facial cause I was so relaxed and the facial massage felt AMAZING. I was sadly disappointed by this experience i got a discounted 90 minute massage online. I got a man and he was very timid about massaging me. I booked a deep tissue massage and barely got anything but i was okay with that because i figured he didnt want to hurt me. The biggest issue for me was that i didnt even get my 90 minutes. We started at 12:55 and he told me we were done at 2:05. By that point i was done with it anyway, im sorry if this is rude but i dont want to talk while my face is smushed in a hole and because he was massaging my feet and then my head and he was either getting distracted and stopping or it felt like he was touching me with a feather. My husband and I had a couples massage booked for today, when we arrived the informed us we'd be in separate rooms. Really no big deal but we specified a couples massage and we didn't get that. My massage was absolutely horrible, asked for deep tissue and got very light pressure. I kid you not I felt like I was just having someone rub lotion on me. I do not like yo talk during my services but my tech talked a lot so I just stayed silent so he would get the hint, it worked. But then he was requesting me to bend my forearm this way 3 times, use 20% of my strength to push my head against his hand, just odd things. I'm trying to relax or fall asleep not neck wrestle with your hand!? He moved constantly around the room so it was loud and distracting. Lotion smelled cheap and weird. My legs and glutes were left completely untouched. He put lotion on my face, I have makeup on, he also "massaged" my head, but I am not exaggerating when I say he pulled my hair! I wear a low bun with a middle part and he grabbed sections of my hair and pulled on them from the center part??? I was so confused and just done. I asked for water after my massage, he said yes but failed to bring any. When I told them in the front it was awful and there was no pressure all they said while looking at their computer screen was sorry. My husband said his was awful too. They proceeded to charge us $150 not including tip, it was a mess. Would not recommend this place and never wasting my time here again. read more
