I prefer Chinese massage because it's rooted in acupressure. The Bad: I don't know if this was a one time thing but the massage table's head rest seemed like body odor. Really strong and overwhelming smell that made me gag several times. The masseuse placed clean tissues on top of the face rest but the bad odor could still permeate through. I should've mentioned this to the masseuse but I just suffered in silence. The massage was expensive. I thought I was paying for a shorter session so the price would be reduced but it wasn't. I also had cupping done so maybe that's why the price was so high, not sure. The cupping was painful but seems like I needed it? It left deep purple marks that faded in a few weeks. The Good: The masseuse was very strong. The massage felt deep which is what I wanted. It wasn't the relaxing type of massage which is what I expected. I was treated right away, no waiting. The decor was nicely designed, with a traditional Asian theme, Chinese artwork created ambiance. The masseuse was a nice lady who genuinely seemed to want to help relieve my back pain.

First,…read moreyour scheduling is a fiasco--your email confirmed one time, your text another, and then you changed it after I clarified your own confusion. Strike one. Upon arrival, I was treated to a scavenger hunt. A massage parlor that requires sneaking through a Dunkin' Donuts back door? Is this a massage or a spy thriller? Your laminated paper sign in the lobby only adds to the unprofessional comedy. Strike two. Then I enter a room that feels like a sauna. No air conditioning, no fan--just oppressive heat. Strike three. On top of that, barely any oil was used, so the entire massage felt like an Indian rug burn. But wait--there's more. The therapist stopped three times mid-session to answer phone calls, scheduling other clients while I lay there. I lost about 5 to 6 minutes to these calls--and then, despite paying for 2 hours, my session ended at 1 hour and 20 minutes. By that point, I was so done I didn't even complain--I just wanted to leave. Never again. Please spare yourself the experience.

Ok no problem. Then calls again says she will be another 5 mins late... ok, no problem (I then have to call a client to push a business meeting back) .... Then, she just doesn't show up for another 15-20 mins past her estimate. When she gets there we go upstairs, but the room is dirty and she needs to spend more time cleaning it and just making excuses and asking me dumb questions like why I was working on a Saturday, and was there a lot of mental stress in my job. I ended up just walking out in order to preserve my schedule. She was not a professional when it came to the scheduling or having a clean room upon arrival. This is not a professional massage business. Her inability to keep to her word multiple times and the dirty room was what was causing me stress, it resulted in me having to push an appointment back twice. Perhaps her massage is good, but we'll never know bc I would never work with her again.

We called around everywhere and everyone was either booked or no "couples" option. Called here and was immediately offered the next available appointment. Got text confirmation right away. We weren't too sure about what we wanted to have done so we were suggested the "combination" and told to just let the therapist know if something needed to stop/be adjusted. Everything was perfect. Deep tissue, hot stones, even the therapist walking on us (which we were hesitant to try). Also, the price you see is what you get. No taxes or hidden fees after the fact. We will most definitely be back!

Upon entrance, I was immediately greeted by Tan, my masseuse. She was super sweet and accommodating. Filled out some normal history questionnaire paperwork and then was directed to a large room. The Thai massage table was huge and had bars on top for the masseuse to be able to hold onto, for pressure walk massage. Ok to keep underwear on. Soothing music was on in the background. She performed a Thai/combo one hour massage. The best massage ever! A combo of her weight, whether lightly walking or sitting on the back of your body, then deep tissue using her hands, and lastly stretching the upper and lower body. Deep tissue was eased out with strokes to smooth out the muscles. Practically every large muscle group was massaged or stretched. And she frequently checked on me during the massage regarding depth of pressure and if I was ok. She found a sore spot in both my shoulders. Man ! super painful, but with pain comes healing. She also applied some balm to the area and showed me a stretch to practice at home. Check them out ! $83 for an hour massage
