Never again. Went in for a mani/shellac on natural nails Dec 15. Had a break in one finger so they recommended builder gel to strengthen my nails.EXTRA of course. The product was applied super thick and so was the shellac my nails looked fake i was not impressed with their work. By the end of the wk 3 popped off found them in bed in the am. Had to go bk cause they were pricey and it was Christmas. I asked if they would remove all product and start over but owner said No and not to worry about anymore popping off that if they were gonna come of they would hv already. No 'sorry about that' or 'sorry you had to come bk at Christmas' just the excuse of possibly oily nail beds??? Of course 2more popped off made 2 trips to my usual nail place for fixes the 23rd then 24th. Christmas day comes 3 more popped off was hiding my hands all day. read more

I've been to Q Nails twice so far and they were both great experiences! The vibe is very different from other nail salons. Everyone there is super friendly. I understand Vietnamese so I know they gossip at other places, but that's not the case here. They're super nice here. Jasmine did my nails both times. They turned out great! Since my manicure, I've been dealing with hangnails on three different fingers (pictured). Two of them are starting to ooze pus and blood. They're also painful. The third finger is just inflamed and slightly swollen. The nail tech did cut my nails down pretty significantly (as asked), but went about shaping them completely different and filed them pretty aggressively on the sides, which is why I think I'm experiencing this. I called ahead of time to make an appointment for 2 pedicures and 2 manicures. The day of the appointment, I got a call asking us to come in early. I told her we weren't able to come in any earlier than our set appointments because we were both working. She said that was fine, and just wanted to offer a different time slot. When we arrived, there was no one else in the nail salon. She indicated that she sent everyone home, and one or two of the ladies were sick. I asked her if she was the owner, but she said no. There were people in the building, painting one of the rooms in the back, and she was talking to her as if she was the owner, saying she let the employees go home because they were sick. I found her to be dishonest with her explanations. Because we had no where else to go and many of the other places we looked at were already booked, we decided to keep the appointments and let her work on us back and forth. I was annoyed because she guaranteed that she'd still be done in two hours. It went longer than expected. She charged all the fees and did not offer a discount for the appointment mess up. The design she drew on my fingers were incredibly ugly. She used green and white to make a flower, when my nails were a brownish/pinkish color. I did not like it but being that our appointments were already messed up, I left it and went to another salon to have it removed. All in all, not worth the dishonest and not work the confusion of trying to book again. And although me and my friend aren't dirty, I noticed she did clean the machines or tools used between us. Went to get my "wedding nails" done here and while they did a good job, they definitely raised the price because I mentioned I was getting my nails done for my wedding when booking the appointment. I didn't get anything fancy, or even any rhinestones. When I called just to inquire about the price of a regular full set of nails with colored powder, they start at $45 but I was charged $75 for "wedding nails". Definitely won't be coming back and I recommend you never mention that your nails are for a special occasion. read more

I chose to try Q Nails because of the good reviews and REGRETTED it!! The WORST pedicure I have ever had! I did not get the man's name, but I wish I did so no one else gets a pedicure from him. He trimmed my nails so short that now my toes hurt, they are all shaped crooked, and badly painted. I told the manager and he said the man probably was cutting an ingrown nail. I did NOT have any ingrown nails! Even if that was the case - which it was not - did I have one on every toe?! The pedicures are a little more expensive than other places. Don't waste your money! Go somewhere else! Also, the tools he used were not sanitized which I learned when he was finished using them, and washed them in the water my feet were soaking in! I tried this salon for 2 months and the only time I was fully satisfied with my nails was when Phillip did them. He was fast, shaped my nails beautifully, and gave me exactly what I wanted. They lasted so long. My most recent experience was my tipping point. Jasmine did my nails. She took an hour and a half to finish an acrylic refill, she pulled off one of my acrylics using another nail tip - which doesn't feel great, and every single one of my nails the next day was lifting. I had to glue every single nail back to the acrylic, which will most likely cause MORE fungus. I have had fungus on 3 of my nails in the past 2 months with these acrylics. Every single time, except for the time I went to Phillip, at least one of my nails have lifted. It's not like I have a job where I'm constantly using my hands to type or anything either... It's super disappointing that he has such mediocre staff. I called on multiple occasions trying to be seen by Phillip in the morning, but they always say he has prior appointments booked. However, when I arrive to get my nails done by another tech, he's not even there. Why not just say his hours are from x pm to x pm?? The place itself looks run down. There were massive bugs (beetles? Roaches? I'm not sure, honestly) crawling around the floor on multiple occasions when I visited. I would say Q nails is a great salon if you exclusively have Phillip as your nail tech; If not, don't even bother going. They are pretty cheap and, unfortunately, there is reason for that. I SO wanted this nail salon to be my go to place, especially with its close proximity to my home... but unfortunately, it will not be. 1 Star for Phillip. 1 Star for price UPDATE- I removed one nail myself at home and this is the fungus under it. I got these done a week ago. Again, all of my nails have been lifting since the day after I got them done. I've been working 12 hour days almost every day since then and could not get in to have them fixed. I wouldn't trust them to take them off anyway. Will update if there is any more fungus (which I'm sure there will be.) 1 star because I can't go lower than that. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT GO HERE. I went in for a polish change on my toes and there was only one girl working and the desk attendant. They convince me to get a pedicure and I say fine so they fill the tub with water. Her regular walks in as she is in the process of getting her setup ready for me, she doesn't say a word to me straight ditches me mid process and the desk guy reluctantly starts my toes so at this point I say just do regular polish not wanting to be rude and say I prefer women doing my pedicure. HE CHARGED ME AN EXTRA 5 DOLLARS for changing my mind BEFORE the service. He was very rude. Don't go here, and on top of that the polish was horrible. read more
