When i sat down the price kept increasing & i got an even worse set than i did down the street. the picture i showed her was totally different than what i got although she asked to see it at least 5 times It looks like press ons now, except the polish is smeared & done in a rush so press ons would be cuter :( Dusty equipment & i got BURNED with their nail dryer light. The chandeliers were nice but not taken care of, nail lights were broken & out of date, Tvs weren't on, just sitting on the roku screen for hours. I'd recommend anywhere else but here. with love

I'm not familiar with nail salons in San Antonio, so I might be biased on pricing and services. I'm…read morea licensed cosmetologist from California staying with family, and wanted a gel manicure. This place was close, and the pictures seemed promising. I was sat very quickly, and the service was started within 5 mins of me arriving. I was a little nervous with the set up. The towel on the desk appeared used with filing dust, the bit on the drill was used before and on its last leg. Typically items that can't be washed and sanitized are single use only--one file, drill bit, buffer PER PERSON. Not used until broken. I'm not familiar with Texas state board, or their requirements for sanitation, but I don't think this place is fully compliant. I understand price points, and you get what you pay for, but I also believe that there's certain health standards that need to be met regardless of how cheap a manicure is. Gel manicure was $35, a fair price for what the service entails. However, I feel like the application was less than satisfactory. My cuticles were flooded with gel polish, and nails filed lob-sided. No primer or dehydrator applied, so it's now 4 days since my manicure and my nails are already chipping. I don't want to make generalizations about the whole of the salon in terms of quality work. A family member frequents acrylic nails at this salon, and her nails typically look nice. Maybe it was an off day, most likely it depends on the nail tech. Long story short, if you don't really care about matters of sanitation, I would recommend only getting acrylic here. Side note: Make sure whatever nail salon you go to is putting your health first!! You never know what illnesses or infections you can get.

What do girlfriends decide to do on a last minute notice? .....get pedicures lol…read moreWe arrived without any appointments and were immediately greeted and set up with our pedicurists. This place was quite huge and they have an enormous wall dedicated to an array of nail color choices, it actually was kinda overwhelming : D My friend and I both opted for the general pedicure $39. I observed her sanitize and line the foot bowl. We enjoyed our pedicures they took their time and did a great job cleaning, massaging, and painting our toe nails. My only 2 disappointments were that, although they stated in their menu, drinks (nonalcoholic or alcoholic) are complimentary, my friend had to remind our pedicurists at least 2-3 times about getting drinks! And second, my gal, had ear pods and was talking ever so softly on the phone while doing my nails. She was responsive to me when I said something, but it doesn't exude professionalism talking on the phone while working. I will give y'all another chance....

First visit was great--my nail tech did exactly what I wanted and I left really happy…read more Second visit was also good service-wise, but I had an issue with pricing transparency. I was told the cat-eye polish would be an extra $15, which I agreed to. However, at checkout I realized I was charged an additional $30 on top of that $15 cat-eye charge for nail art I wasn't informed about beforehand. That brought my total add-ons to $45. My main concern is that there doesn't seem to be a clear, listed price menu for nail art, or at least the full pricing isn't communicated before services are done. I don't mind paying for extras, but I need to know all costs upfront before agreeing. I also noticed that by the time I was finishing up, the receptionist at the front's mood had noticeably changed. It felt like she was rushing my nail tech, which in turn caused my nail tech to rush the final part of my design. Because of that, the final result didn't come out exactly as I had expected. Overall, I liked my first experience, but the lack of clear pricing and communication, along with the rushed feeling at the end of my second visit, made it disappointing.
