THIS SALON IS AMAZING! Tammy fixed my Wedding nails. I had gone to Sunflowers nail spa off Blanco Rd and they treated me horribly. I explained it was for my wedding this weekend and Sunflower did not do anything I asked. The tech was so rude when I asked for my nails thinner and told me "this is taking too long you don't know what you want". My nails were different sizes and the tips were put on incorrectly. I came to Oasis not sure if they were going to help me. Tammy took me 10 mins before they were closing. She worked tirelessly removing my entire set and fixed them to my dream wedding nails. This is a review of Gwen (IG: nailsby_gwennie). She is honestly in the top 5 nail artists in SATX. She just started 8-9 months ago, but she has the natural skill and work ethic. She blending styles and colors to give me exactly what I wanted! Overall, it took about 30mins for us to figure out how we could make it work and about 1.5 hours to create the master piece. She took out a sample nail and continued working in the design until it was perfect. She literally had to mix different acrylic colors until she found the perfect ratio. Such professionalism and artistry. It ended up costing around $125, but lasted until they had embarrassingly grown out, lol. It would've looked much nicer if I had gotten longer nails (she suggested it). It would've costed the same too, but I wanted short nails. Geen was patient, kind, friendly and really took pride in her work. I would love to get her rent a booth and start her own nail business - she is THAT good. A far cry (in a good way) from the typical salons and styles of SATX. This girl belongs on the East Coast doing her thang. read more

This was my third time going here, I usually got the younger male nail tech and never had a problem with him, this time I got the older lady, Kathy and she was really nice but I left with over half my cuticles bleeding, my polish was extremely bumpy and it was sticking to my skin. She was aware that my nails were bleeding because although I felt extreme burning in my fingers, I didn't look down until she tapped my thumb which was flat out bleeding. She continued and after that 4 more fingers started bleeding and a few other ones got red hot in pain. I am concerned that I might get an infection so I have been disinfecting my cuticles but even the day after they are continuing to bleed. IF I go back I will only go back to the younger guy, but I probably wont. read more

I walked in and there was only 2 other people and I will admit I was a little concerned but thought maybe it was just late. Second time I want I had Devin again do my nails. This time I was there 2 hours for fills. He put so much acrylic on my fingers it looked like it had snowed on the counter. This time I had to go back a couple of days later because my nails were lifting. I was told that it was might fault, but he redid them. Not was week later I now have a fungus on two of my fingers and have had to take my nails off. I have never had a fungus on my nails before this. Horrible. The new guy who claims he is the manager is RUDE and does a horrrrrrible job. My nails (a fill with shellac) lasted two days. I came back in to get them fixed and he kept saying "no. We too busy." There are seriously like 3 people here. I will also add that girl walked in an hour and 15 minutes after me (yes, I'm still waiting) and they worked on her immediately. No appointment. My pedicure was done very poorly. My polish was uneven and smudged and my nails weren't even clipped properly from my pedi.

Went there last Saturday. Told them I wanted the powder dip and a manicure. I was assigned to the new girl. She was reasonably friendly at first. When it was all over I discovered that she did not file the glitter down on one nail ; so it was a little sharp and snagged. She also forgot to put the finishing coat on the on the nails my left hand. Under the new management, the service and the friendly atmosphere has all but disappeared. Not a nice place. read more

Went in to get my holiday shellac removed. The guy was horrible!! He was super impatient and didn't let the acetone sit for more than 2 minutes before scraping and ripping my nail. He also kept laughing to himself repeatedly about it being my first time and my being scared since I told him it was my first time having shellac. Then he left my nails totally jagged and rough and dry. Place is pretty dirty, too. Never go here!! read more

I would never come here again. The man was very sassy and it didn't look professional in any way! Only 3 men working there and all in muscle shirts with their tattoos showing. When my mother went to go get her waxing done the man used the same stick each time triple dripping the same stick in the wax ,and then when I ask for cooling gel for her wax he used his hand to rub it on her. Not one time did I see him wash his hands and he didn't use a cotton ball. I looked at the "cooling gel" which was really hand sanitizer. I was very angry with the service I wanted my mom to go back and get her money back and to tell them about health code. He even admitted saying "we use one stick for one person" We pointed out that he admitted what he did and then tried to change what he said. I give two stars because they were extremely friendly. My friend and i got clear solar nails. My friend's after only a week and a half are coming up around the edges. Not staying on at all. I personally was cut on the side of the finger that has yet to heal properly. My nails have bubbles in them and my right pinky has something embedded in the solar nail.
