Went in for a brow wax and pedicure. Wait was not long at all. Nice atmosphere. I been here once before and had the best pedi ever but not today. It was such a quick pedi. When I sat, the lady next to me was in pedi progress. Maybe mid pedi. I sat and was done before her. Like what? Maybe she got the high dollar idk. They scrubbed and lotioned my legs like in 5 mins. They lightly scrubbed my feet bottoms Then straight to the polish. And I was done. No clipping of the dead skin around my toes which is my favorite part. No scraping of the foot bottoms for that dead skin. No cleaning of the inner nails. Which I know I need because I'm a runner in the trails. My feet get baaaad! Hadn't had a pedi in months. I'm so disappointed. 65 dollars for that? I could have done that at home. Now I have to go somewhere else to get another one. These pedis are supposed to be relaxing and feel good. Save your time & money!! On April 16, 2025, I was overcharged at Valencia Nails Spa - Potranco. I was charged $135 with unexplained charges like $65 for "nail design" and $5 for "length" even though they wed short/med. The tech was unprofessional during the appointment, making rude comments about past clients. When I later left a review, I received multiple harassing messages via Instagram and Facebook from the same nail tech. She used profanity, mocked my finances, and insulted me for leaving an honest review about what went down. This is absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, especially from someone representing a licensed business. read more

Took my mom and sis in law for pedicures. I had visited this location before and had a good experience, but unfortunately, the end of this more recent visit will make it the last time we go for the time being. Our techs were all delightful throughout our service. However, my SIL asked her tech for paraffin wax on her hands and was told it would be $10. Mom and I added the same service, and nowhere along the way was it ever disclosed to us that the hot towel wrap (on our arms) would be an additional $8 each. The receptionist (who was a little standoff-ish tbh) initially tried to remove only one of the three charges until I made it clear that I wasn't paying for something that 1. We didn't ask for (because none of us asked for the towel wrap on our arms) & 2. We weren't properly advised of the price. No y'all, I wasn't a Karen about it, but I did stand my ground. Due to my growing frustration with the situation, I didn't even address the hot mess that was done to mine and my mom's toes... Again, it saddens me to leave reviews like this, but hopefully, this will help improve their best practices. read more

This is my first time visiting Valencia Nail salon, and I was pleased. The business is very clean and organized. There were a lot of color options. I got an acrylic fill and shellac polish, which totaled at $50. I believe this price is within range- I usually pay about $40-$45 depending on where I go. If my nails stay strong no chips and no breaks then $50 is worth it to me. I had Thomas and he did a great job, he did not hurt or cut me when taking off the previous shellac polish. I needed my nails done and my usual salon was too busy. I had seen this place several times and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I really liked it. The place is big. They have a good amount of staff on site. I didn't have an appointment and they were able to work me in. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they were able to do it no problem. It's been a week since got my dip on my natural nails and I haven't seen any chipping. Their prices are a little more than my normal salon. About $5 more per service, but it's totally worth it. Went here for the first time, everyone was so kind especially the receptionist. But there was an elderly asian lady that did my pedicure that immediately caught an attitude when I kept kindly asking her to fix mistakes like smudged nail polish and nail shape. The prices are pretty high here ($60 for basic gel pedicure) which I don't mind paying but for the price I expect high end quality. I usually find a nail salon and stick to it, but this one is close to my home so I thought I'd check them out. Today they weren't too busy, but what I was told was that they have only been open a couple weeks, and they are trying to hire more techs. They had planned to open last year, but of course, COVID. The first thing you'll probably notice is how clean and spacious the shop is, but for sure the next thing you notice is the liquor on the wall. I did witness the staff making drinks, but not once was I offered even a bottle of water, which I wouldn't have minded. Maybe you have to pay for that perk, idk? The services cost slightly more than other area shops. The selection of nail colors seems to be decent, but for dip, they are displayed on a wall, so it's hard to get an idea of what it would look like on your nail. Came with my wife and daughter to do some family bonding and get my rough feet addressed. This is a very clean and chic establishment ! We originally came around 1211 and they were pretty busy so they made us a 2 pm appointment. Upon return were promptly seated in our area. I was only one getting a pedicure but they placed us right by each other. The lady that did my pedicure was great. I got the milk and honey with leg massage sand hot stones. This was really relaxing and let's not for get the open bar they have as well. My wife enjoyed her manicure (tried something new and got a dip), the little one just got polish. Worst pedicure place I've ever been too. I had to ask if they serve drinks never even asked and I had to ask Mari 4x if she could get a drink she still never got it for me and my friend. The receptionist Chris had to get it and at that she id us I've never been to a nail place. My friend couldn't even enjoy our girl time because she couldn't get a drink. Rough on my cuticles, left in pain. Midway the guy checked and used his phone, WITH GLOVES ON! Control on massage chair was broken so it didn't work. When he opened the towels I got a bad smell of towels that were wet when put away. Didn't massage my feet AT ALL. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is the drinks were stronger than other places. Nail polish selections are sparse. This place was close to my house so decided to give it a try but I dont think I'll come again. Also I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for my polish to dry and it was still really wet. Not sure if it's the polish they use. The paint job was sloppy. read more

I usually go to their sister company off Culebra but when I called they said they were currently at this location due to a fire. I have a gift card to the one on Culebra and asked if I could still use it at their temporary location and they said yes. I am not someone who has the budget to get a pedicure and only went because of my gift card. I got the most expensive pedicure they have and when I went to pay, was told I could not use it. The manager asked the receptionist if she told me on the phone that I could use it and she said yes. I explained that I needed another option because I could not have come if I couldn't use that gift card. The manager said there was nothing she could do. Her employee admitted to telling me I could use the gift card which makes it the responsibility of the business to figure out. The $100 I then had to spend puts me in a bind. They only offered to discount my next service, which I won't need because this is not something I can afford. It was all I could do not the break down at the counter. read more

I didn't say anything because I had to go to work at 1 so I rushed out. Overall, the staff was decent and the drink I ordered was tasty. The place is beautiful and clean. Everyone was dressed in uniform. A black shirt not sure if this was part of the ambiance but all the nail techs were men. I will say that the prices were a little high. Usually I pay $40 for a fill with shellac and and extra $10 for chrome powder they charged me $55 for a shellac fill and cuticle removal. I wanted to get chrome powder and they informed me that it was $20 extra! So I declined. Despite the over priced services, I would go back to get my nails done by Tim. He has a spikey little faux hawk, he gave me the best short nails. It takes someone truly talented to pull off a short nail set and to often the nail techs complain when you ask for super short but he did not, he gave me what I wanted without question. No seating to wait until called back for your appointment, but we were seated within 10-15, as we had walked in. 11 yr old got Pedicure with shellac & I had nails with dip powder, added 18% tip. $145. We were asked if we would like complementary drinks, and after selected, were brought drinks quickly. As another said, it was a bit difficult to choose color from wall, but after I mentioned a few colors I wasn't sure of, the nail tech did bring all powders over & brushed onto napkin so I could better determine colors. Likely will be unable to come as regular as would like due to prices, but will keep it as a must for special occasions & gifts. read more

my first time here and was not impressed at all! the girl i got for my pedicure was on the phone the whole time. even took a personal call when doing my toes, im not the one to complain but it's one thing to be consistently texting throughout the service. when i was done she said i was good to go and as soon as i walked out the sandal was nudging the polish which was not dry and caused it to mess up. when i got home to inspect my nails i noticed she didn't even paint the nails correctly, it was not evenly painted close to the skin. who tf likes their nails like this??? i will never recommend this place to anyone! so disappointed and i paid $35 for this ugly shit!! nice place tho, very expensive for bad quality. read more

I was recommended by a coworker to try this place out. My first visit I pleased with the service from my tech but the front desk staff was very rude. I liked my pedicure so I decided to give them another chance and overlooked the rudeness from the front desk. I returned about a month later to the same rude front desk. Got my pedicure and it wasn't nearly as good as the first visit. My toes look like it was done by 2 different people. My daughters toe nail broke within one week time. The prices are on the high side to get such rude and inconsistent service. I've even dealt with the owner and she's a piece of work. If I thought the front desk was bad she makes them look friendly. This salon appended near my work not long ago, I passed it often but never went. I had never had a pedicure and coworkers advise I try it, so I headed next door to check this new place out. I was welcomed as soon as I walked through the door, the reception was excited to hear this is my first. The nail tech was very comforting he even encouraged me to just enjoy the experience and let my self relax (apparently, I even looked nervous) He asked me to smile. That relaxed me quite a bit. The green tea pedicure smelled so amazing and my feet looked beautiful once I was done. This is a must do @ valencia.
