My daughter and I came to Iris Nails for a mommy-daughter day. Lisa and Tonny handled our pedicures and were kind and professional (even though my daughter's toe polish ended up smudging). Unfortunately, the experience changed when we added full sets. My technician, Jasmine, repeatedly commented on my bitten nails and continued speaking with another technician about me while laughing. She also spoke to me in an exaggerated slang tone that felt belittling and disrespectful. The entire interaction made me feel mocked and discriminated against. During the service she nicked six of my nail beds, breaking the skin and causing bleeding, and then added an extra $20 charge for cuticle work that was never discussed. My daughter asked four times for coffin-shaped nails, but her technician Lam shaped them incorrectly and had to shorten the nails to fix the mistake, with no price adjustment. We paid $393.60 for smeared polish, bleeding cuticles, and an experience that left us very uncomfortable. We will not be returning. if I could rate this experience 0 stars I would. read more

Me and my daughter went for pedicures before an upcoming cruise and it was not busy at the time. All of the pricing was upfront, so there were no surprises. The environment is nice and they offer drinks during service which I enjoyed as well as my daughter. I stopped in for my first time and had Jason do my new set which was an almond shape with pink gel polish and some heart designs on each ring finger. I am a very awkward introverted person,I'm not a chatty, along with this being the first time I'm away from my newborn and mentally tapped out... I appreciated Jason not being a man of many words so to each their own he did fantastic with the drill so gentle and efficient he did great. He got me a yummy mimosa to enjoy which was also great. I requested a nail design that was completed by Anna who was courteous, so sweet, gentle and did great at doing exactly what I asked for! I went in during the day around 2pm and with a such a great experience I was only there about 1 hour which was also super convenient so during the day would be your best bet for a speedy service which was exactly what I was looking for. I was referred here by a co worker of mine , and I am so glad I listened. Lol. Everybody in here was so nice and attentive, and they offer a complimentary drink with one service! Bomb. I chose a very pretty color, and the gentleman who helped me did my nails sooooo pretty! He was unsure about what I asked, but I was adamant on what I asked for and he definitely understood the assignment. Very quick, but very effective! I am in LOVE with my nails. A hidden gem! I first came in for a pedi and Nancy did fantastic! Prices are great and so are the nail techs I came in a couple weeks after my pedi and needed my nails done and got paired with Jason and he did great! I found Iris nails spa a few days ago and it had amazing reviews so I figured I would give it a shot. My appointment was at 4pm and Immediately when I walked in the building I was greeted by such a sweet lady and I kid you not, didn't wait longer than 2 minutes. I sat down almost a few seconds after and had someone right away to take care of me. The gentleman that did my nails was so nice, made sure I got exactly what I wanted and was gentle, which goes a long way! I wasn't used to this kind of customer service, even several workers were walking around and seeing if I needed anything and asking if I would like any beverages. Amazing service. Had an appointment on today at 1pm. They took care of me right away. Had my pedicure,manicure and full set done all at same time. They provided amazing tasting lemon cucumber water. Asked right off bat what I wanted and were amazing every step to ensure I liked what they were doing and providing. Lien was amazing with the pedicure through in every step and so sweet! I loved the work she did. My toes look cute! Kai provided my full set. I asked him for cuticles and he was able to explain that i could add the manicure which I loved that he explained and still provided even though I didn't know the difference. He made sure I loved my nails in every step. Very gentle and deliberate with every thing he did. I wanted my nails and toes to match but they didn't have a set but they worked with me to find the perfect color to match. I'm new to San Antonio and trying to find the best nail salon to do my pedicures at and I was looking and looking and I decided on this place and I'm so happy I came here first off it's beautiful Inside, and the manager is so kind and can truly see he's trying his best to make every customer satisfied. I came in on a low staff day so the wait was long but I could see from the other customers that they looked pleasured and it was worth it. I do not recommend getting there lash clusters or lash extensions. Not only did the lady NOT ask me the volume she used tons of glue which irritated my eyes and I cannot get them off no matter what I try. When I called and asked for a refund she literally told me that they don't do them which is understandable but proceeded to tell me they don't do removals, what sense does that make? As a nail salon stick to what you know best which is nails only and don't offer any other things that you simply cannot do right. read more
