I cannot recommend Wax Snob enough! I had a Brazilian wax done by Tae, and it was honestly the best waxing experience I've ever had. Tae made me feel completely comfortable from the start--she's professional, warm, and talked me through every step. She is incredibly skilled and thorough; the wax was quick, nearly painless (seriously!), and she left zero stray hairs behind. Plus, her cleanup was impeccable--she made sure every inch of my area was perfectly tidy and smooth with no sticky residue or missed spots. The studio is clean, chic, and welcoming, and I love supporting a Black-owned business that clearly values quality and client care. If you're in San Antonio and need a wax, do yourself a favor and book with Tae. You won't regret it! - A customer for life! read more

I've never had a bad experience when getting waxed here. However, today was a little different. The service wasn't bad. However, the amount of wax left on my skin was excessive. I've never had an experience where there was clumps of wax left on every area treated. I was told the "wax beads" would come off in the shower. This treatment was done at the beginning of the day and going home afterwards was not an option. The feel of wax on my skin is not a comfortable feeling. Also, I wasn't given any clear care instructions after the service. I'm hoping this was a one off and that I don't experience this particular issue again. read more

I noticed The Wax Bar when I was eating at the restaurant next door and researched their services. I was so relieved that it was affordable and I could schedule online. I was a bit hesitant because I had a bad experience with another spa years ago but I decided to schedule an appointment. It was great!!! The inside was clean and everyone was very friendly and professional. The reception area had complimentary drinks & snacks. Ebony did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and explaining everything. They also provide a little gift afterwards that includes wax prep gloves and after care cream. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I've been getting waxed here for nearly a year and now do so regularly every 5-6 weeks. I get my legs, my underarms, and my bikini line done. I have loved the results, my hair doesn't grow back as quickly, I'm always super comfortable during the service, and love the space. read more

The girls at the front are extremely polite and friendly. They had drinks and snacks offered in lobby area. There was no wait. Right on time! Tae took me back and was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable since I shared I was nervous with it being my first Brazilian. She got it done like it ain't no thAng! Never once felt awkward and the pain (only in some parts) were minimal and gone within seconds. (Promise haha!) the waxing looked great and I'm sure my man will enjoy it too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING WITH TAE! I'm sure anyone working in her studio are just as fantastic! read more

This is such a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing salon with amazing customer service. The first time I came here I only received a Brazilian wax, it was such an amazing experience that I continued coming to get full body wax services. I got my very first brazilian here and was honestly surprised with the pain level- maybe a 3-4? (Out of 10) I don't remember the gals name who gave me my first one, but for every appointment after I saw Coray and just loved her to pieces. It's been too long since my last one so I'll be heading back in the next month or so, but without a doubt I will be returning to her. They make you feel so comfortable, no matter what your body looks like/how you feel in it, you're not uncomfortable and you don't feel any different than anyone else. The music and conversation keeps the ambience comfy and fun. These ladies are wonderful people and sure know how to make you feel taken care of. Definitely recommend a pre or post treatment before your wax, it helps infinitely and they can help you decide which treatment is best for you. Don't be afraid to ask questions, these women KNOW how to take care of your skin. Love y'all! read more

Best wax I've had in a long time. Very professional and thoughtful to check up on me a week later.

I absolutely loved my experience today at Wax Snob Studio! Coray was so amazing and gentle when doing my Brazilian. I previously had a bad experience at a different wax studio and she talked me through the whole thing! Didn't hurt to much and I'm not in any pain afterwards. I will definitely be coming back every 4 weeks! read more

This place is great and the service and people outstanding. My review is cause I never realized of their cancelation policy since I never miss my appointments and I'm not satisfied with loosing all the money you already payed upfront to get a service just because life happens. I just lost $75 USD for a service I booked. I was at work and my alarm for some reason didn't ring and when I realized my appointment time had already passed (it was at 5.10 pm and I realized about 5.24 pm). I called to check if I could still show up (since I'm 5 minutes away), they said I couldn't and asked me if I wanted to reschedule for another $75 USD. I just think they should be more flexible, since in my case I payed for a service that takes around 30 minutes so I'm sure they could have at least done half of the service done or something. But no, nothing at all. read more
