I regret not doing permanent makeup earlier. Laura has done amazing work with my brows, eyeliner…read moreand lips. I think I'm her worst client. I am so scared to tattoo the makeup on and I'm a bundle of nerves when she works on me. BUT it's worth the sacrifice. I love eyeliner on my waterlines, but the makeup doesn't last and just washes into my eyes. The permanent makeup solves that problem. It's great not applying makeup but still workout, and run/swim yet still look like you have makeup on. I save a lot of time not messing with my makeup. I'm terrible at putting on my own eyeliner because I zigzag my eyeliner. Most importantly, I have ocular rosacea and I normally get eye infections nearly every month where I need to see the ophthalmologist. When I used temporary makeup, removing the makeup from my eyelids and my face irritated my skin so much that I had flare-ups on my eyelids and in my eyes. I don't have that problem anymore. Even though my ophthalmologist was against it at first, she loves my makeup now and calls in her co-workers to show off the permanent makeup.

This is the most important review I have ever written. Laura is awesome. This experience has…read morechanged the way I feel about myself. Getting older and not feeling attractive has done a number on my self esteem. BUT Laura has changed that for me. I just had the procedures done yesterday and I have a few days until they take full effect. I am a little swollen, but in no pain. But the change is definitely well worth it. The time and money I will save having to buy makeup and put it on in the morning is worth it alone. But I look even better now than when I put on my makeup. And it looks so natural, yet polished. But the way I feel when I look in the mirror is everything. Thanks to Laura and J.J. for making this change in my life come true!!

I believe I had recieved a gift certificate from for a free custom facial. I thought oh I'll go get a free facial to make this hormonal acne feel better. Then go back to where I was going. No way I would drive so far. I was in a lot of pain. I seriously was so grateful I worked from home as I would ice my face while I would work. I wanted to put a bag over my head. I was so embarrassed. My sweet and experienced esthetician Stacie told me I might be a candidate for an acne facial. I thought ok. Jennifer at the front verified my insurance and for many of my facials it was covered by my health insurance. I have been consistent with medication, supplements, acne facial monthly paid by my insurance, as I ran out of my own skin care products I replaced with whatever they recommended. I used medical grade products prior to the last year and half when I ran out and didn't stock back up. My poor skin was out of control. Everything they have recommend has worked. I will say I'm a little sensitive to chemical peels and even though I do them just not as often. So if you are suffering from hormonal or teen acne I highly recommend Davida. If you wanting to feel more youthful or wonder how I do it. Than you will want to stock up on products and bank for a procedure depending on their recommendations. The needles in my face do not really hurt. I'm used to it I think from previous experience and dry needling. Filler & neurotoxin- beginning of Dec. I may no longer be 30 or 40, but after seeing the transformation I can say I feel forever young at 51. They have late appointments and even Saturday. I love coming here. Huge shout out to this knowledgeable woman NP Nisha and the entire team for helping me get my glow back. I've glowed before, but this is the first time I'm in a regimen that worked. It's not an overnight miracle, but constant care. My daughter has come with me twice and was so impressed. My son came with me today and was impressed my insurance helps. Also they have great events. Schedule an appointment. #satx satx #medicalspa #hormonalacne #topnotch

I followed their shop for the…read morepast few years but was convinced by a family member to try a cheaper artist... and I'll just say when it comes to any beauty related procedure, quality over quantity (cost of service) is everything. Besides microblading, their services also include lipliner and lip tattoos! I submitted an inquiry for a brow correction and received a response within a day. I sent over photos of my current brows (some microblading artists are selective when it comes to corrections/fixing other artists' work) and thankfully, Emily Joy agreed to fix them for me! I put down a 50% deposit and booked an appointment (bookings are only guaranteed with a deposit!). The remaining balance is also charged on the day of the appointment. Medical history is requested along and pre and post-care instructions are provided during booking. They are also sent during the appointment confirmation (about 2-3 days before your appointment) and are also available on their website. Emily Joy had wonderful bedside manner and had a warm, genuine personality and I felt comfortable with her right away! The process of measuring and drawing out my brows took longer in addition to waiting for the topical anesthetic took longer than the actual microblading itself. It's pretty painless for the most part, but once the anesthesia starts to wear off, it feels more like a scratch, if anything at all. She provided a cute post-care tote with Aquaphor, a card with directions on how to take care of your brows, as well as swabs to apply the Aquaphor. I was able to book my touch-up right after we finished our initial session. The studio itself is clean and has the cutest, posh decor. It's shared in an office building with several other businesses and has ample parking. I've constantly received compliments on my brows and every morning, I look at myself in the mirror and think to myself, "I WOKE UP LIKE DIS!" I'm extremely happy with my brows (now) and I'm SO glad that I came to Dollistic!
