I love the injection room, their staff are all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I moved to San Antonio and my skin needs had changed with the new climate. I've been seeing Bria the aesthetician at the Elian location. She got right to business and created a treatment plan for me to help with my texture, breakouts, and past acne scars. She took the time to ask me about my prior skincare treatments, my current skincare products, and taught me about what products I can introduce into my routine, and their benefits. I appreciated that she was also conscious of my budget and didn't push me to buy a whole new skin care set but suggested certain items I can eventually swap for in my current routine when I'm ready. It was also my first time doing micro-needling. Bria is very experienced, she makes it such a relaxing and fun experience. I also got to meet Amaya who helps film for social media, she was very kind, and being in a room together made my spa day feel like a fun girls day more than just a micro-needling session. I loved the experience, and most of all the results. I already see amazing results and I can't wait to keep coming back. read more

Terrible management and customer service--photos speak for themselves While the nurse practitioner who treated me was pleasant and apologetic, my experience with the management and customer service at The Injection Room was unacceptable. I came in for Botox and Sculptra, spending $2,000. During the treatment for my crow's feet, a vein was hit, resulting in a severe, spreading black eye. I have been receiving Botox regularly for 13 years and have never experienced bruising anywhere near this level. The swelling and discoloration were so intense that I had to proactively explain what happened to colleagues at work because it looked like I had suffered a traumatic injury. What made this situation truly awful was the response from management. It took days to even receive a call back. When management finally addressed the issue, they refused any type of refund or meaningful accommodation on the $2,000 spent, simply pointing out that I had signed a release form and claiming that bruising is normal. In my opinion, brushing off this severity of bruising as "normal" shows complete disregard for client care once they have your money. Nice practitioner, but zero customer support or accountability from leadership when things go wrong. If you look at the attached photo and think that is an acceptable result for $2,000, book here. I will never return. read more

5 Stars - Life-Changing! I saw Barbie Brown for Botox injections on my feet due to a severe sweating issue, and I cannot recommend her enough! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely comfortable and explained everything in detail. I was nervous at first, but Barbie was so kind, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process. The results have been amazing--my confidence is back, and I no longer stress about my feet constantly sweating. Barbie truly went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful for her care. If you're considering this treatment, don't hesitate--Barbie is the one to go to! read more

I've seen Ashley at the Injection Room for my lips and today for Botox. I can't say enough about how amazing she is and how much she cares about every client. Each time I've seen her she listened and gave me the results I wanted. I can tell you Ashley will not do something if she feels it's not the best. She and the business are not about your pockets and the money. Please visit the Injection Room (I went to the location on S. Flores Street) if you're looking to get any aesthetic treatments. It helps if you've done some research on your own so you can ask more direct questions. I'll miss Ashley with my upcoming move. Thank you Ashley for always being amazing and easy to talk to. I wish all the best for you personally and professionally!! read more

I visited the eilan location and was really disappointed by the customer service and unprofessionalism. This was my second visit and was really looking forward to it, based on my last visit...boy was i wrong. I arrived to my appointment at 10 (appointment was at 10:15). I was really nervous because the injector i saw before no longer worked there so i was put with Alice. I went to use the ladies room and noticed my injector had on a treatment on as i was walking by. I found it a little odd based on the fact that my appointment was soon. I waited, the receptionist was the one that took me back and put the numbing cream... i waited there until 10:45. Receptionist came in and said Alice was running behind. I asked how much longer? She said she would ask. Within a few minutes my injector comes in with a face mask on. The only thing that i was thinking in that moment was how unprofessional it was. She was really passive and did not put me at ease with questions i had. Did not make me feel comfortable at all. I was really close to wanting to walk out because of how bad my anxiety was. But was scared about the 100 dollars they charge you for no show. The lights kept flickering in the room and she kept commenting on how it was annoying her and how she couldn't see (not something you want to hear when you have needle in your face) also as a cosmetic spa you should make sure your rooms are working properly for your clients. I was told my face was depleted, that my mouth shape was going to be hard and she kept commenting on how much blood was coming out from where she was injecting ( sorry i have no control over that). When i originally made the appointment i told them i wanted a few services to please extend the time. They assured me that i would get everything i wanted done same day. Alice then told me that she didn't have enough time but when i pushed back on what i told the receptionist she then agreed to finish my service. I spent a total of 1400.00 dollars that day ...my service was mediocre and i was left disappointed and honestly really upset. I waited over 2 weeks to post this ...just to see my results. And I am not happy. Also the bathroom was filthy (ring around the toilet) and the place smelled almost like an eggy/fishy smell. Im not sure whats going on at this location. But they lost a customer and ill also let my clients know about this establishment. read more

This place is pricey however everybody's very nice and they did a good job. I went in to get lip fillers but wound up getting Botox and the skin care kit so I appreciate your honesty with me. read more

This was my first experience at this facility, and I waited a couple of months to post this review. I usually do my injections elsewhere but really wanted to do facial balancing, so I booked here. First, I arrived at my appointment 30mins early and the door was locked. No big deal since I was early but then 30 mins go by, and no one comes to the door. I call and no answer and by this time 2 other girls have shown up and we're all just standing outside in the cold waiting for someone to open the door. Anyway, while my injector was nice, I felt rushed. She told me I could decide on two types of fillers and then left to bring both in. I kept trying to ask more questions, but she just kept saying "whenever you're ready I have both here". I went ahead and got the injections and 2 months later I can still feel lumps in my chin and jaw. Also keep in mind that immediately after, your face will be snatched (what you see on social media) but that will fade and the results will be subtle, at least in my case. Overall, the experience was less than satisfactory. The office could be more punctual, especially if they expect you to be early. The office had an offensive odor and smelled like sewage, and my results were not as expected for a treatment that costs over 2k. And while you do have the option, they ask you to tip 15% or more which is a lot when you're already paying for such an expensive treatment. I will likely not go here again. read more

The front desk was very welcoming and the space is cute! If you're looking for Botox, this is the best in SA. I was a little worried when I was first injected (the swelling can be dramatic) but everything settled perfectly! As a man, looking natural was very important for me. read more

The Injection Room - Medical Spas Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

I had my first/only visit at the Injection Room at La Cantera on March 12th. I want to start by saying the initial visit was pleasant. I won't identify my nurse's name to be nice. Since this was my initial visit, I had to complete questionnaires. Some of this information was discussed during this visit; particularly my skin sensitivity. I shared with her that from my allergy test I was allergic to 57 of 60 things tested. With that being said, I am not new to the neurotoxin world and have had Botox several times. The intention of my appointment was to get Botox. The visit went well and I was injected. When I paid at the counter, the screen popped up saying Dysport. I was surprised because my nurse did not have a conversation with me about Dysport. There was no conversation about Botox and Dysport. No discussion of the benefits of each and what may be best for me. I thought I received Botox. I decided not to make a big deal and left. It had been 24 hours and I didn't feel any paralysis in my forehead- which I usually do with Botox. I called to complain and was told that I needed to allow the full 2 weeks to pass. I expressed being upset about not being educated about Dsyport vs. Botox, nor was there a conversation informing me I was going to be injected with Dysport!! I was informed that the desk clerk would reach out to my nurse and the manager. My skin became itchy, but I didn't think much of it because I did try a new organic sunblock the Sunday before my appointment that my skin didn't like. I will add here- I am not a woman who uses a lot of products nor do I wear makeup. I am very conscious of what I use on my skin and stick to natural ingredients (such as products from Lush). I literally use two products on my skin- and have used the same products for years. Today is 15 days after my Dysport injections. My skin has been extremely itchy, red, and irritated this entire two weeks despite me discontinuing use of the 2 products I have used for years. I decided to read up on Dysport. I learned that Dysport has lactose (an inactive ingredient) and may contain cow's milk protein. This was never mentioned to me. If my nurse had a conversation with me about the two neurotoxins- I would have chosen Botox. I have experience with Botox and have never had any sort of reaction. I did not contact the Injection Room a second time; although I have not heard from anyone from the Injection Room after my call on 3/13/24. This is clearly a very serious matter that shouldn't happen to any patients. We should all be informed, have a choice, and know what we are receiving!!! Complaint has been made to the BBB as well. Be cautious! read more
