It was disappointing. We were both charged $10 extra to remove existing gel polish, even though we both were already paying for pedicures. Then, my nails. They wanted to charge me $5 more to shorten them. I said no thank you. They also charged my daughter an extra $10 to take off her gel polish on her hands even though she was getting gel. So already that's $30 extra for basic services that we don't get charged for at other salons. Now on to my nails which if I could give no stars I would. My natural nails are long and I love them. The very next day after getting them done 2 have broken off. I was doing my dishes and wiping my counters so nothing out of the ordinary. Not even 24 hours later! I'm so upset and angry about how much we were charged and now I have to go and get them redone. This salon was about 30 minutes away and had it not been a recommendation we would never had tried it out. I do not recommend this salon. They over charge, charge extra for things that should be included in the service, and the work was awful. It makes no sense, $5 to trim your nail while you're already getting them done? $10 extra to remove polish even though you're getting them done? And I think he said they charge $20 extra for gel or shellac on your toes. To clarify, yes we were informed about the additional charges but as we had already started our pedicures we just said okay but that still doesn't make it right.
