I believe that this is my 4th time visiting Nails Tran and just like the first 3 visits, I'm very impressed with the service that I received. All of the ladies in the salon are always very welcoming and professional. I had the VIP Spa Pedicure by Irma. I work 12 hour shifts and I'm typically on my feet for at least 10 of those hours so the pedicure always right on time especially the paraffin wax and hot stone massage. I always leave with my legs and feet feeling so relaxed and my feet are nice & soft!! Tha ks again for the great service!! read more

Received 2 services since I was in the area (pedicure and full set) would I go back, no and here's why. The regular pedicure was just that "regular". the basics are done, totally get that, every step about it was mediocre. If I opted for shellac on my toes, that would've been a waste of $18 added on. The polish application was messy. She used a toothpick to "clean" up around the nails. Typically places use a brush with acetone to clean around the cuticles. The person doing my pedicure even noticed and says "oh it's bumpy you want me to remove", of course remove it and reapply. Maybe she was in a rush, if that's the case them do not take on a pedicure. The nails, they are okay. I did a simple shape (round/almond) and "design" mainly solid shellac color polish. The polish is also bumpy which could be from the acrylic application and prep. I'll have to see if the polish starts to lift since she didn't file the edges once she was done. I had to reshape once I got home. If you go to the nail salon, you're paying for a service and I feel like the establishment should do the basic steps of ensuring their work is up to par. If not, then the owner/management should really consider on who is working for them because the service they provide is reflection on the business. I would recommend save yourself the trip and try somewhere else. read more

Since Irma took over this location it has been very clean, great service, & great efficiency. Ana did my mani & pedi & she has the most gentle touch. Highly recommend all staff! read more

My sister were treating ourselves out for Galentine's pedicures. Great service! Super customer service! Loved our pedicures

They made me bleed and my foot was peeling afterwards. I think the grater they used on my foot was dirty. They also made me file my own nails since they were in a hurry and didn't want to fix them. Don't do it. read more

Randomly found this place on Google. My fiend and I decided to give it a try, I've yet to find a favorite place here in San Antonio! The ladies were super sweet, we waited a little bit. Then they sat us down at the pedicure chairs. I got the basic pedicure for $28 & she showed us the shellac colors to pick one. There's a protective screen in front of you. & she had on gloves and mask at all times. The pedicure was much needed and it felt so good. I didn't catch the nail techs name because we were gossiping and talking so much ! Haha! but she was so sweet & took her time, my nails came out so pretty. The massage she did was HEAVENLY! She brought us some really cold bottled water, which I was thankful for. Overall experience was great. The salon is cute, clean and put together very well. read more

Would not recommend , Although the lady who did my toes was very kind she did not listen i told her I did not want gel polish on my toes also told the young lady who spoke English to translate and tell her I did not want gel she still decided to put and then played oblivious to me saying that I did not want gel on my toes, the salon was clean but had very huge flys flying around and I had to keep swiping them away . read more

I always get my nails done here. I've gone to Asiana and the nail place in front of Nails Tran, and Nails Tran takes the cake by far. They have a WIDE selection of nail colors and they offer chrome nails and ombré nails all at a reasonable price. I recommend this place to everyone. Since I graduated and came back to San Antonio, I've made this my go to place. No one else does as good of a job for as good of a price. It's always a packed house, too. I recommend getting a day of the week off and going in on a week day. Other than that, it's a reasonable wait. read more

I must say Jenny is AWESOME!!! This is my first time Using this nail salon and I will most definitely come back my next nail appt. I requested pink and white ombré..showed a pic and Jenny nailed it. I walked out very very satisfied. My fiancé claims it's the best he's seen my nails done. Jenny asked me several Times If I like are they ok etc and took her time with my nails!! Offered my coffee or a drink and was awesome!! My nail beds grow up so it's hard to get my nails flat well she conquered that!! Thank you!!!! read more

the woman who did my pedicure was very unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome. there were fruit flies flying around during the whole service. my cuticles were not fully trimmed and the foot/leg massage was terrible. i was not offered any beverages either. This place delivers. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I walked in with a photo of what I wanted that I found in Pinterest. They quoted me a price explaining the color, the ombre, powder, shaping and manicure all had different aspects to them. I was told it'd be cheaper with less variables, but I knew what I wanted. So I totally agreed because I was expecting to pay more. I was offered a drink at the beginning. I turned it down as I wanted to get started. My nails are naturally long and thick, and this was the first place to ask if I wanted the application directly on my own nails. Most salons immediately pull out the clippers and nail tips. They had to add one tip because one was too short, but that's it. The process took some time because I was getting some coffin shape with an ombre look. They had to reshape a few that were started too thick, but the end result was worth every second. I was asked if I wanted matte coat or shiny. The tech and I agreed matte would be the way to go. I posted a pic of my right hand. They're beautiful. I'll definitely be going back. read more

I've been coming to Nails Tran for about a year now and it just keeps getting better. Over time, they've added new shellac options and new technicians. I am always happy with my nails and the services! Jenny, the owner is very welcoming and her mom always offers snacks and drinks while you wait and while you're getting your nails done. If you come on the weekends or evenings, there is usually a wait but trust me- it's worth it. I've strayed away to another salon before only to be disappointed, and I always come back to Tran! Jenny, Tiffany, and the rest of the team remember your name and your preferences and always deliver amazing results. I've had regular manicures, acrylics, shellac and pedicures at Tran and I would recommend them all for yourself or for a gift! read more

Let's start with prices... The pedicure was $55 but for the quality should have been $40. These prices are before the shellac cost. The manicure was $33 and for the quality should have been $10. Cuticles were not pushed back, fingers were placed in room temp water prior to manicure. Next, The quality of the shellac was subpar two days after my pedicure two of my toenails had flaked off and my nail polish started chipping by day three. The tech I had rushed through my pedicure and manicure and my friend who had the same services as I did was not finished until 20 minutes after me. read more

I came here because of the great reviews. Jenny is extremely sweet and I can tell she cares about her customers. I got a shellac manicure and she did a great job shaping my nails evenly and making sure each layer was evenly coated. They also have matte topcoat which is always a huge plus for me. And she even said if I didn't like the matte I could come back and get another top coat free of charge. She uses CND shellac which I know is great quality. I did a pretty light blue color on my nails and was super sad when they chipped just a week later. I do feel like I've been using my hands a bit more but chipping after just a week is pretty disappointing. Nonetheless, I'll probably still come back again and give this place another chance just because prices are reasonable and maybe it was just bad luck this time read more

Came into Nails Tran from out of town, in a huge need to get my nails done before a family event. Walked in, was quoted about an hour before I could be seated. I decided to stay because I saw great reviews and didn't feel like store hopping. It took a bit longer than an hour but once I was seated Ms. Jen made sure she took great care of me! Any slight request I asked for she did with out any issue. I really appreciate everything she did and the whole atmosphere was very inviting! A girl friend and I found them by their yelp reviews and took a chance. Walk-ins so we had to wait but we didn't mind. We could see they were taking their time on the few customers that were present so we didn't want to rush in hopes that they would take their time with us too. They did not disappoint. We had a full mani and pedi which we were both very satisfied with. Even when my friend was not happy with a nail, the lady helping her went ahead and re-did the entire nail without bickering or persuading her to that it was fine. ANNA is amazing. She is so kind and enjoyed herself with our conversation. This place also gave us complimentary snacks, drinks, and lotion at the end. We are extremely satisfied with Anna and this establishment. read more
