Received 2 services since I was in the area (pedicure and full set) would I go back, no and here's why. The regular pedicure was just that "regular". the basics are done, totally get that, every step about it was mediocre. If I opted for shellac on my toes, that would've been a waste of $18 added on. The polish application was messy. She used a toothpick to "clean" up around the nails. Typically places use a brush with acetone to clean around the cuticles. The person doing my pedicure even noticed and says "oh it's bumpy you want me to remove", of course remove it and reapply. Maybe she was in a rush, if that's the case them do not take on a pedicure. The nails, they are okay. I did a simple shape (round/almond) and "design" mainly solid shellac color polish. The polish is also bumpy which could be from the acrylic application and prep. I'll have to see if the polish starts to lift since she didn't file the edges once she was done. I had to reshape once I got home. If you go to the nail salon, you're paying for a service and I feel like the establishment should do the basic steps of ensuring their work is up to par. If not, then the owner/management should really consider on who is working for them because the service they provide is reflection on the business. I would recommend save yourself the trip and try somewhere else. read more

Randomly found this place on Google. My fiend and I decided to give it a try, I've yet to find a favorite place here in San Antonio! The ladies were super sweet, we waited a little bit. Then they sat us down at the pedicure chairs. I got the basic pedicure for $28 & she showed us the shellac colors to pick one. There's a protective screen in front of you. & she had on gloves and mask at all times. The pedicure was much needed and it felt so good. I didn't catch the nail techs name because we were gossiping and talking so much ! Haha! but she was so sweet & took her time, my nails came out so pretty. The massage she did was HEAVENLY! This place delivers. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I walked in with a photo of what I wanted that I found in Pinterest. They quoted me a price explaining the color, the ombre, powder, shaping and manicure all had different aspects to them. I was told it'd be cheaper with less variables, but I knew what I wanted. So I totally agreed because I was expecting to pay more. I was offered a drink at the beginning. I turned it down as I wanted to get started. My nails are naturally long and thick, and this was the first place to ask if I wanted the application directly on my own nails. Most salons immediately pull out the clippers and nail tips. They had to add one tip because one was too short, but that's it. The process took some time because I was getting some coffin shape with an ombre look. They had to reshape a few that were started too thick, but the end result was worth every second. I was asked if I wanted matte coat or shiny. The tech and I agreed matte would be the way to go. Let's start with prices... The pedicure was $55 but for the quality should have been $40. These prices are before the shellac cost. The manicure was $33 and for the quality should have been $10. Cuticles were not pushed back, fingers were placed in room temp water prior to manicure. Next, The quality of the shellac was subpar two days after my pedicure two of my toenails had flaked off and my nail polish started chipping by day three. I came here because of the great reviews. Jenny is extremely sweet and I can tell she cares about her customers. I got a shellac manicure and she did a great job shaping my nails evenly and making sure each layer was evenly coated. They also have matte topcoat which is always a huge plus for me. And she even said if I didn't like the matte I could come back and get another top coat free of charge. She uses CND shellac which I know is great quality. I did a pretty light blue color on my nails and was super sad when they chipped just a week later. I do feel like I've been using my hands a bit more but chipping after just a week is pretty disappointing. A girl friend and I found them by their yelp reviews and took a chance. Walk-ins so we had to wait but we didn't mind. We could see they were taking their time on the few customers that were present so we didn't want to rush in hopes that they would take their time with us too. They did not disappoint. Updated - I won't be back. There is no positive way to communicate with the owner. Simple misunderstanding has turned into hours of messages telling me how I am at fault. That is no way to treat customers. I was looking at the other colors that they have on the shellac wall (I have just plain acylic nails). I asked him if all the colors were shellac and he said no some are regular polish. He asked if I wanted one of those and I said yes and pointed out the one I wanted. He says that is $2.00 more since its a new bottle. Anyone else hear about this or have this come up at this salon or any other? Another thing was that the price for fill on acrylic says $17.00 but he charged me $20.00. I wanted to speak to the manager but it was packed and didn't want to be that person asking about a $3.00 difference but also wanted to ask about the $2.00 charge on new bottles which I think is ridiculous.
