This was the worst experience my 16 year old daughter has ever had. We wanted to let her natural nails grow so we just did dip on her natural nails the lady drilled and filed way too much for having natural nails, and then took her to the wash bowl to wash her hands and scrubbed her super hard with the brush after her hands were super sensitive from all the drilling and filing she had already done. My daughter left with a red cuticles, and her nails hurting for days. They are really lucky they didn't get infected , when I asked why they were so red the guy told me if she's not used to getting her nails done often she's just sensitive and yes, my daughter doesn't get her nails done often but she's never left with painful nails and red all around the cuticle. I was getting my nails done as well from a different lady so I wasn't sitting next to my daughter and didn't know what was going on. The lady took just as long on her nails as they did on mine to do a full set with chrome which the shape wasn't what I wanted I asked for I wanted Square she still did it round. The color wasn't what I wanted but I just accepted it because I had no time. It was my fault for waiting last minute to get my nails done before vacation and just going anywhere without looking at the reviews if I would've looked at the reviews prior to getting my nails done, I would've not even did our nails. And my daughter wasn't even planning on getting her nails done, but I encouraged her and I wish I never did. I will never return and I don't recommend anyone going there read more

I went back to talk to the front desk and he didn't listen. He sent me back to the lady who paraded me around customers saying my nails are not bad and if they are then somehow it's my fault. Completely embarrassing!! Zero sense of customer service on their part. Not to mention the lady was rough with my hands and somehow my fingertips sting two hours later. I've had pedicures done for a number of years and I've never had this bad of an experience before. I went to L'amour Nails at Ingram Mall on 28 April 2025 at around 2:45 pm. From the time I walked in to the time I left, I was treated like shit, the manager would look at me and smile. UGH! I ordered a Deluxe Pedicure with Shelac nail polish for french style. Issues: as soon as got to the check in area the Manager (I believe) eventually sent us to the pedicure area. Once we got to the chairs, I kept telling him I didn't like the water hot it needed to be cool. He didn't change the water temp he just began assisting everyone one except me. Of course, I said I was here first he just nodded and continue to assist the ladies that came after me. That was the only the beginning, every one around had been help, yes you guessed he never fixed my water. The gentleman then sent a female to me commence the pedicure. Well he then came to my area and spoke to her in their language, and she got up and began assisting a different person. He then spoke to a male technician to work on my feet. He asks me why are your feet out of the water they need to soak He said put your feet in the water...I told him the water is too hot I needed cooler water he ignored me so I leaned down and said "Hot water burns my skin can you make it colder" he just made it warm i just left it still too hot for myself they are going to do how THEY want my water anyway. Right away he got my feet out and starts to file them, so I asked the tech can you please cut them down first. Gets better, I have ingrown toe nails where a piece of nail was deep... (ingrown nails both toes) He didn't even attempt to cut it out. Also they never remove the polish that was originally on my toes. He skipped that all together and didn't remove or clean any toes. The tech commences to wash the soap off my legs because he was done and starting oiling my legs. The manager said something a cross the room and in his language tells the tech I had paid enough for the Deluxe package and he needed to use the scrub first. The tech just went over the oil and placed the scrub on top of the only for one leg the other was scrubbed and oiled. It only took a minutes for him to finish both feet, he was done. When he was about to wash off the soap on my legs I immediately said please make the water more cold than hot. The manager and my tech kept talking about something when the tech used ONLY cold water and starting rinsing my legs. The manager looked and me with a grin and said it this cold enough and how you wanted it, then grins? The tech looked at and stated "is the cold water cold enough for you" I just said yes cold is much better hot. I have been getting manicures and pedicures for over 35 years and I have never been so insulted and disrespected by 2 salon staff. I went to my regular nail salon 2 days later to fix it. I had to wait a couple day to be able to report this otherwise most of the words would have been cuss words (sorry). No-one deserves this type of treatment, I doubt I will ever step foot in that place again. This was wrong in so many level; they think we are not going to address it and most people don't. So for the 2 pedicures 2 days apart cost me over $75.00. My sister was with me she thought it was pretty funny since she got everything she paid, in fact she is still making fun of me. Either way when I left there I was so mad my chest began to hurt and I believe smoke was coming out of my head. My sister paid the bill for both of us, because she knew I was about to lose my shit. She and the lady next to me witnessed how I was treated I wasn't going to give a tip. The Manager was up front she just wanted to have it paid so I wouldn't have to deal with him. I gave paid her iss soon as we left but with any tip she gave each tech a $10 tip, which I would not have done. Thank you very much for letting me vent. I am still very upset about how I was treated and on that day, more on the angry side. I hope someone at least addresses the issue. It is not okay to treat a customer the way I was treated. He said no come sit down I thought that maybe it meant that they had some sort of picking out polish system. At that point he kept pushing the shallac. I don't like shellac on my toes. I told him I had old gel polish he said oh then you get shellac, didn't let me get back up to choose a polish. I wanted the spa package that was $40 he said he would do the next one up that was $45. I told him I wanted the spa package, he said no the next one is better and was only $5 more. I gave up. My pedicure went from $40 to 65$ My husband also got a pedicure. I told them he was only getting the spa package no polish. They also forced him into the $45 package. My husband went to pay. I told him to give them $20 tip since he paid for both of ours $10/$10 for each person. Even tho I didn't feel like they deserved a tip for being so pushy and not giving us what we asked for. After the guy finished I went to the restroom, he followed me to there and followed me out. He kept staring at me I think he wanted a bigger tip. The customer service is not the best the people are pretty rude. Once you are sitting on the chair for a pedicure they are working on you so fast when there is no one waiting. The job is terrible they don't take their time trimming or cleaning you dead skin off your toes. They polish your toes terrible I can do the same job. Don't walk in there run away. read more

I went to the location downstairs next to Dillard's. Ahhhhh!!! I LOVE my nails! Ivy did an amazing job on my full set. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and it's exactly the way I wanted. Saturday's are packed so please take that into consideration. Weekdays are better and not so rushed. Pedicures are relaxing I usually ask for the "Deluxe" $35. My full set was $55 but I asked for the coffin shape and Ivy had to use 3 different powders for the polish. Totally worth the money! I'll be back for my bday next month. read more

Where do I start... 1. I called around noon to set 2 appointments for 2 dip powder manicures and 2 basic pedicures, time, name & ph # provided appointments set, or so we thought. We arrive to our appointments to find out they did not set anything up and we would have to wait until people were free. 2. We get our pedicures started they ask what kind and what not, they provide the different color wheels, we asked several times if the colors we were looking at were for dip/regular match (as we were getting matching mani/pedi) they reassured that it was. The nail tech started painting my feet and didn't even ask which color I wanted from the 2 I picked.. & guess what... they weren't dip nor was there anything to match too. 3. Only Solution cost $35 or 30 mins more after a 9hr shift. Bonus: I asked for something to drink 2 times to 2 different people, I received an acknowledgement and then received nothing. Yah, I was super excited to come visit this location since it's in the mall where I love hanging out! I was less than amused with the quality of service my sister and myself received. My feet looked beyond better when I waked in vs when I walked out! I mean just look at the pictures! How is this acceptable?! Here's how it went down: We came in for one mani pedi and one pedicure and were traded back and forth between staff members until someone sat us down in the chairs. After getting the water started I put my feet in and leaned back hoping for a good massage while sitting down. You know, treat yo self kind of day. Nope, even the chairs were meh at best. So after getting the seat right the lady who was getting ready to do my pedicure called another woman over to take her place. She said no, and they argued. They bickered back and forth trying to get rid of the task and be done with the day. So finally the lady who kept saying no sat down with a temper and said nothing else the entire time. Mind you when reading their available pedicure options it was an extensive list of benefits to pay this extra sum. I was 100% ready to ask for that option when sitting down and was offered no extras or even asked what kind of pedicure I wanted. Instead she half heartedly cuts my nails, trims the cuticles and doesn't even do that right, and then uses the grater right on bare skin to take off the dead skin. Not letting it soak so she could do it correctly or anything. After this she decided do put lotion on my legs and act as if she was massaging my feet and legs, my 2 yo brother could do more Than she did. This being said she just lightly touched and spread the lotion and moved onto the next. Wiped the excess off with a warm towel and said "you're done" I'm sorry what?! That's what my $25 paid for?! I might as well have just sat in the tub with hot water running on my feet and saved the $25! Needless to say my sister received even less, she only got a color change on her toes and that was that. No pedicure or anything. Oh! And! Even after being reminded about the manicure, which is the main reason I went in given my hands dry status, they didn't do anything or even ask about it. I was acknowledged when walking in for a mani pedi and a pedi. So much for customer care or satisfaction. All in all, I will not be returning ever again. They just rushed her to a chair and still charged her. The second one came in politely as well. They tried to cut her off too but she held her own. For upstairs nail salon: While the nails came out okay (how can a licensed nail tech mess up a change of color?), the cuts and bleeding were not worth it. I've been getting my nails done for years and never been treated with such rough hands. After telling her I didn't want a manicure, just a change of polish, she continued to snip at my nonexistent "messy" cuticles. She got to my thumb and she picked so hard that I began to bleed. After awkwardly asking "maybe a bit more gentle?", she laughed and continued picking away. It wasn't until she was gonna paint said thumb that she apologized and put some type of sealing gel on my cut. Rest of the appointment was alright I guess until I looked up and saw my mom (who came with me to get her toes done) with an angry look. They cut her too! My mom paid extra to get the dead skin off her feet and her nail tech went too rough as well leading to my mom getting cut.
