I've been a customer for years, but after today I will NOT be going back. Today I went in for just a pedicure, and the older lady did my pedi was extremely rude. She missed a lot of the steps through the pedi process, she didn't file my nails only cut them and VERY SHORT and uneven, she didn't file the bottom of my feet or use the purple rock thing that they use. Then when she painted my nails, she left so many specs of polish everywhere at the end I had to ask for the brush myself with little bit of remover and I cleaned them up myself. It was horrible experience. I'll gladly find a new nail shop. read more

Very overpriced for the quality of service. I got a French tip shellac pedicure last week and didn't receive the base color I originally asked for. We tried looking at different shades, but I still didn't end up getting the color I wanted, and the technician wasn't doing my feet the way I had requested. Only 4 days later , the polish has already started coming off clean. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and longer-lasting results. Wanted to treat myself and get my nails done; and have seen mixed reviews but wanted to check this spot out for myself. Paid for deluxe spa pedi with shellac. The space looked to be running like a well oiled machine. Not knowing "the process" of my pedi, as soon as I got the opportunity to mention one of the shellac nail polish put on me had a dip/indention.., the tech looked, filed it down, and fixed but immediately commented that it wasn't messed up "it was the wax". Went yesterday to get my nails done and I had to have her change them 3x. I was a repeat customer and I felt bad for making them stay longer, so I said they were ok. I called back today seeing if she could change my nail color and she said it would be an extra charge to do so after paying a total of $198 yesterday, I even tipped $12. Girl at the front was a total sweetheart, looked like a high schooler maybe but everyone else totally rude took my niece here to get our nails/toes done, they did not let my niece dip her feet into water ruining her experience right then and there, they put shellac on her toes even tho i said regular, lady said no to doing her nails because i wanted regular polish for her we did not get offered anything to drink until we were leaving i made the mistake of adding a tip, lady was pushing SO hard for me to get both tips and then made the acrylic way too thick, painfully thick i asked for them to make it thinner they said no WORST nail salon ever. read more

Went to get a manicure and pedicure today, pedicure was fine and nothing too special. My manicure however is another story. I asked for the tech to just file my natural nails to make them all the same length and shape, there was multiple times where I had to correct him on the evenness of my nails. I told him I wanted matte black shilaq nails and that is what he did, they seemed a bit thick but I was already over it. I then leave and drive 15 minutes home and notice that there is polish leaking from a bubble that had formed under one of my nails. I drive all the way back and to get it fixed and as I'm there I then see another two nails with the same issue. The secretary of the nail salon then begins to drill off the shilaq from all of my nails because most of them were not dry underneath, she was nice and I understand she can get some hands on work but I'm coming back for a repair... why would someone not as experienced do my nails??? Anyway, she drills them down and leaves much polish around the cuticles and then another tech ( seasoned I'm assuming) takes over and decides to do my nails. Another tech that was sitting beside her then tells me " oh this happens a lot with black shilaq, it's pretty common" uhhhh I've never had this issue before?? It just seemed like they were trying to cover themselves..? Anyway, finally the tech who took over did my nails correctly and I just asked for them not to do matte because I didn't want to risk them being too thick AGAIN and have to come back AGAIN. I've been twice before and the service was good, you just have to get the right tech but what good is a salon if you only have a few good techs there?? Zero stars. I told the lady one of nails needed to get fixed bc the first coat she put on wasn't applied correctly so the ending result had lumps in my nail. Boom she argued for 5 mins & told me it was my nail shape bc she was in a rush to leave.She left me alone for 10 mins and talked crap in her language while fixing my nail and was out the door. I still don't like the way it was painted so was told to wait then was told they can just buffer and repaint instead of getting someone who can't polish correctly and wasn't gonna rush me, Don't go here bc they gonna argue with you. I asked for dip and polish change on my toes and she proceeded to do powder telling me it's the same but better- (more expensive) I let that go then as I was washing my hands I was told they don't do regular polish only shellac. I do not like shellac on my toes. I was told it was better lasts longer and we ONLY do shellac here. I've never heard that before and no one mentioned that before I received my manicure. More pressing just to do shellac and I said no. Well we don't do that here. Fine. Also a customer came in to get a nail repaired that the lady had just had her nails done a few days before- she was told come back in 2 hours. Nothing we can do right now. Got a gel pedicure here. The massage and scrub were good but the shaping of my toenails was subpar and gel polish application was uneven. The tech also didn't push back my cuticles during my pedicure or cuticle trim on my nails. Disappointing, as I now have to go on vacation with uneven toenails. Also pricey, I paid $62 (tip included) for a gel pedicure and a cuticle trim on my nails. Yikes. read more

Do not recommend!!!!!!! I would rate this place less than ZERO stars if I could. I recently got a pedicure with my mom and grandma and we didn't feel welcome at all! There was two guys, one that did my pedicure, one who did my mom's and a lady who did my grandma's. They asked what kind of polish and color we wanted to get and they all got mad. One of the guys gave my mom dirty looks because we didn't want what they wanted us to get and because me and my mom wanted French tip and told us it's going to 5$ extra (which it's fine we were willing to pay 5$ more). The lady that did my grandma's pedicure had a really bad attitude towards her the ENTIRE TIME !! She didn't give my grandma enough time to look thru the colors and to pick one she likes and SHOVED the color menu into her hands. Once the lady starts to paint her toe. My grandma didn't like the color and told the lady she wants to change the color, she rolls her eyes ( the lady did end up changing it for her). The guy that did my pedicure got upset because I didn't have open toed shoes I had crocs and had the audacity to tell me to not wear crocs ever again in such a rude way. A few minutes later, my grandma asks one of the guys for a water and the guy took awhile to answer and LAUGHS about it with the other guy. When we get ready to pay, my grandma spoke to a another nail tech to see if they can a get manager so we can complain and of course they said there's no manager then she says the manager went home and INSISTED they did nothing wrong and the guys were laughing at a "story" they were apparently having which wasn't true. $120-140 WORST experience EVER I came in to get my nails and my feet done due to not having them done for a while. The lady who did my nails, she is right by the entrance I thought she would be good, but she rushed through my whole service. I came in with my sister-in-law, and my sister-in-law got a set with the same pedicure Package that I got. my sister-in-law was done before I was for her manicure, which was fine because she got short nails. They were barely doing my acrylics when my sister-in-law finished her manicure in time went to the pedicure next to her, and when they finished her pedicure said they had finished mine the same time so she rushed through the whole process. It said on the package so we were supposed to get a 10 minute massage on her feet and legs. I did not receive that I received maybe two or three strokes on each leg and that was it did not cut my cuticles on my hand or my feet my hands look like they had outgrown for a week after I had just got my service done. The polish on my nails did not look right and unfinished. They look like they were not done professionally they look like they were done amateur , and when I called to tell them that they said that they would honor it just to come back when I could to get them done again and they would fix them so when I came back. They refused to do my service over and fix any problems because they said that it was grown more than usual but that's what I told them. The problem was that they looked outgrown and it had only been a couple of day since I got them done , and they said in order for them to fix their problem I would have to pay for new services . I requested the deluxe ($40) pedicure. The nail tec continues to insist on a full set gel/acrylic ($75) I had to call the receptionist over to clarify. She did not shape my toes and rushed through the entire process (I sat in the chair at 2:12pm and was rushed out by 2:45pm) I even have bubbles in the polish . There was a language Barrier but, that not a good excuse for bad business. I spoke with the receptionist about this when it came time for me to pay I stressed I did not want a discount I wanted it done the correct way and she said there was nothing they could Do but she would note not to put me with that nail tec anymore. I usually go to Lee's nail salon but they were packed so I went to Hector's based on the reviews. I asked for wait time for a mani & pedi and the receptionist said 10 minutes so I stayed. The woman who did my pedicure was extremely nice and professional. She was the sweetest thing and has the softest hands. The bad experience started with the manicure, I believe it was Helen. That was the name on her "tool box", I told her what I wanted but she gave me a sample of nails which did not contain the color I wanted. I saw the color i wanted mixed with others so i grabbed it. I told her again what i wanted but she said she does not do that. So i happily told her i will leave but i showed her the powder and she changed her tune. I gave her another chance but thats when the beating started, instead of using her tools or polish remover to take out the old polish she used an acrylic nail. She smoothed out my nail so much it burnt the acrylic nail, when i looked at it she said it's ok honey the powder will smooth it out and i told her she burned me which she apologized for. This woman was messy, aggressive and rough, i don't know if they time them but she was rushing like she was late for dinner or something but my nails took a beating from her. I can tell she knew i was unpleased with her service when she started complimenting my sweater and eyes... To be honest, the only thing they are good at is certain designs. The second time I have ever been here I had Kay, Kay actually had done my nails at another salon and they did a fine job, but this time they were awful. They kept checking their phone and i asked for a evil eye design and keeps making comments so i change the design that had 5 different colors, one for each nail, and she kept complaining about that so finally i changed it once more. I realized I as a paying customer should NOT have to change MY designs when i'm literally paying? Like what the heck? The first time Ken did my nails they were beautiful french tip. Absolutely LOVED, I went back asked for him specifically only to be disappointed. I paid $125 as well and when i find the picture i will post it. he didn't even give me a new set like i asked, he kept the french tip i had previously&painted a baby pink base coat instead of the nude powder like in the reference pic. He used brighter colors rather the pastels as I wanted. I'm so sick of mail techs doing that, doing what they want rather than the paying customers wants. Same time, One of the ladies there was taking off my friends acrylics with another nail and ripped her natural nail!! Like they are so lazy and in such a rush to get customers in and out it's ridiculous!!! To be honest all the asian nail salons in san antonio are like this. Haven't been back since they did that to my friend. I don't normally get my nails done but I saw this place had good reviews. I went in and they had tons of chairs for clients. I only had to wait about 20-30 minutes to be seen. I paid $41 for a manicure on my natural nails with a design on the accent nail; I also had a margarita - not sure if that went into the end price. Linn did my nails and she was super nice. I gave them 2 chances but unfortunately I will not be returning. Flooded cuticles, they probably will start peeling soon. The first time the tech created a heat spot but over drilling my nail bed. The second time a different tech over filled 3 of my nail beds, flooded my cuticles with gel polish, didn't clean up around my nails, & left my nails with rough edges they will snag on things. They couldn't decide if the acrylic removal was $5 or $10. There was 4 people talking about it when I asked about my total at the end. Lastly they left some acrylic on my nail beds also. read more
