Very disappointed... I went on Memorial Day since my regular place was closed.. right when I sat down I stated I didn't want my nails cut or trimmed at all, he said ok... As he's cleaning up my nails, he gets up and goes to back to get used (not in sterile package, plus he never cleaned before using on me)clippers to cut my cuticles... he went too deep on 3 nails and I started bleeding and very painful. (As of 4 days laters, very much painful with possible infection- I will be making a complaint to TDLR due to unsanitary) As he's finishing up he files down my nails and reshapes very noticeable which shouldn't have been done since I didn't want them shorter.. After I paid 60.00 I noticed all the sides of my nails are not even painted and I have the bottom layer of black polish all around the nails... never again will I go back, nor do I recommend this place.. read more

If I could give them a 0 I would. I had the WORST EXPERIENCE!!! I went in for a shellac manicure. Tim was distracted that he didn't see what he was doing. He wanted to hear and see what was going on. There were a couple of times he cut too close to my nail. Once I pulled my finger away because he cut too much. It was later that my nail turned purple and it was very painful!!! Plus it was infected!!! I went back and if course the employee s were looking at my finger . It was swollen and purple and talking their language which I didn't understand finally they said that IT WAS MY NAIL. I am not that naive . Went in as a walk in at 5pm just for a pedicure. They closed at 7pm so I asked if they were sure they could see me I can always come back earlier another day and the lady insisted. She walked me to a chair and left me there for 15 mins and finally some man came and just started working on my feet, maybe said 3 words to me. It was awkward and made me uncomfortable. Walked in about 11am Saturday without a wait. Trinity directed me to a pedicure chair quickly. Dustin performed the cucumber cooling pedi ($43) and took his time. They offer complementary sodas, wine and water. Trinity is also Phi Brow certified and performs eyebrow microblading for $300 with $50 touch ups. The staff is very friendly, overall salon is clean and extremely organized...which I love! I hate going to salons that have only 20 polishes to choose from. Not this place! They have over 200 options for regular polish easily then offer about 200 more for gel/shellac/dip polishes. Men's and children's mani/pedi options available too! I'll stop by again soon and maybe even have my brows touched up from prior microblading! read more

I believe this nail salon is under new management. This review is written after my 2nd experience of having my nails done at Palace Nails. I requested Diana for both my appointments. Both times I got the dip powder for my nails. And both experiences with Diana were positive. She offered me a drink, and was hospitable. As far as nails, she took her time shaping my nails, she was gentle, and detail oriented with shaping and filing. I requested coffin shape and there was no additional fee for the shape. I feel like I finally found my nail tech (crossing fingers). Side note: my first set of nails completely held up for 3 weeks. I did not experience any breaking, and the top coat did not seem to fade off. I plan on going back for my next set, as well as a pedicure with shellac polish. read more

This was my second visit for a shellac manicure. Unfortunately, both times I have had bad luck. This time around my shellac color only lasted 5 days before it started chipping. My shellac usually doesn't start to chip for close to two weeks or even longer when I get my nails done at my usual nail salon. Overall, the place is clean and they have plenty of nail polish colors to choose from. They offer alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks while you're getting your nails done. I would have really loved to continue to have my nails done here, but I'm really only saving $2 and 10 minutes and that's not worth the duration my nail polish lasts. read more

Usually my favorite place but today wasn't! i was picking a dip powder but the example nails kept falling out cause they weren't secured on the hook. When i went to pick them up i dropped a nail polish. The gentlemen that helped me with a tattoo on his eyebrow was very Irritated when he was helping me. He did the dip powder and was rushing like he just wanted me out of the chair. I got a neon pink and he buffed my nail with a buffer and not the tool they usually use. I asked him if he can buff my nail and he said "i already did" i told him sorry I'm use to the tool and he said, "I can't do it with the neon colors" but in the past they have ‍ I didn't feel welcomed at all like i usually do and the quality of my nails look cheap. I had powder stuck to my skin and I wasn't able to wash my hands right after cause they took me to the pedicure chair and he told me to wait. I was left with powered on my hands still. I came here for my first acrylic set in years. I told them I never get my nails done and wanted a natural look. I showed them pics for examples. Once I got home (5 minutes away) I actually realized how ugly my nails were. Lumpy, thick, and opposite of a natural look. So I went back and asked to have them change the color and the thickness. They never apologized and blamed me that I should have said how thick I wanted them. They never asked me, I didn't know! Like I said, my first time. I will never come back. Rude manager, rude! I had an appointment for pedicure and gel manicure, however I waited over 30 minutes to be assisted. Another girl before me had waited over 40 minutes and ended up leaving without receiving services. I am new to SA and rely on Yelp and word of mouth to find places. I ultimately choose this place due to proximity and overall rating. Both my pedi and gel manicure lasted less then a week. No base coat was used for the pedi which has now caused my nails to stain. In addition the place was dirty. I can look past dirt and such behind the pedicure stations. I went in on 8/23 to get shellac painted on my nails... they didn't have me wash my hands before applying the polish. You could visibly see debris and nail dust on my nails from the filing he did. When I brought it up to him, he assured me that it would not mess with the shellac. I should have known better because I get my nails done regularly but I was in a hurry and believed him. At first, the nail polish dried lumpy and they redid it there but now my shellac is chipping several days later. I got my nails done on 8/23 and it's now 8/26 and my nails are chipping. I got them done for a vacation coming up and now I have to spend more $$ to get them done again. I will not be coming here again. Shellac is supposed to last at the very least 2 weeks.
