Would never come again. I called at 12:22p to inquire about pricing, let them know I'd be on my way. I show up at 12:37p, no one is there but someone tells "can I help you?" I said I called about pricing I'm here for eyebrow threading and upper lip she says "I'm a little busy can you come another time" I said you should've told me that when I called, and she stayed silent so I just walked out. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded here for a year and I've never had any issues with the staff or shape of my brows! Everyone is very friendly and since COVID started, they've been very accommodating. The establishment is clean and they thread by tying it around their necks instead of using their mouths. You typically done have to wait long, they're fast! I've recently been getting tint on my brows and they have been turning out fabulous! Since 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

Today I had an appointment at 2pm that I made through the online appointment as I always do. I've been coming routinely to this salon for an appointment every week for 5-6 weeks. Today I left work early and drove across town and arrived 20 min early. Another girl was in the office and asked when my appt was and I said 2pm and that I had received a confirmation text for my appointment. The girl at the salon called my gal and she said sorry but she couldn't be there until 230 and asked if I could come back at 5. Unfortunately, I scheduled another appointment and couldn't make it at 5. I did let her know I would not be returning ever again. So unfortunate the degree of unprofessionalism. I went in to get my eyebrows and lip threaded. The lady was very rough, I understand threading is painful, but she just wasn't careful. I got two cuts around my lips and a cut on my eyelid. The shape Of my eyebrows don't match either, one is longer than the other. Just terrible service. read more

Went here for the first time in a Saturday afternoon. There wasn't a a wait and I was attended to right away. I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time. I will say threading is slightly more uncomfortable, but not bad and I don't have to worry about burns. It is also cheaper for threading. $8 plus tip. Not bad. The salon is clean. They were very nice, but the worst place to get lashes done, a normal process is from 1-2 was going to be done in 20 mins. The DONT even put one on at a time they just throw them on. Definitely do not recommend. The picture the have posted that has different set aren't even their work. read more

Really like going here. It's about a 15 minute drive, but I rather take that drive. I've been to a few differ places in San Antonio and always walked out not happy at all with my eyebrows. Found this place by luck and I'm never disappointed with my eyebrows. They were actually able to correct the mistakes from other places. Highly recommend this place. read more

Not sure if this place knows what "amiga" means... It was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded at this place and I felt that they need to work on their customer service. I walked in, and there was a lady (did not get her name) sitting with her head looking down on her phone. I said hello but she just looked up at me, and looked back down on her phone, no reply. I'm just standing there awkwardly at the counter not knowing what to do, and she just continues watching some video on her phone. So I speak up and say that I've never been here before and that I would like to get my eyebrows threaded and she looks back up at me and says "sign in". I finish signing the little clipboard and she is still on her phone! At this point, I just didn't feel welcomed as a first time customer and she didn't have a friendly personality either. I still gave this place a couple stars because I'm not going to lie, she did clean up my brows nicely. I have to say the lady was pretty rough handed and I felt the string getting hot as it plucked the hairs, but I still think she needs to work on good customer service. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded before at other places with less pain and friendlier service, and I'd rather give those places my money than deal with unfriendly individuals. read more

I went here yesterday because I needed a touch up on my eyebrows and it had been a while since I had gotten them done. I understand it's a bit painful when it's been a while but to the point where I'm consistently flinching and on top of that she burned me multiple times The lady who did mine was extremely rough and did not care about the fact that it was hurting me. I knew what to expect from it had been a while and I thought I'd be courtesy to say " oh I'm sorry are you okay" like I've been told I'm the past but not this time... all she would say was "this is your fault " "you haven't been here in a while so it's your fault it hurts" like why would you say that to the customer. Also when she finished with my eye brows I noticed she cut off too much on my arch so now there's a bald spot on my arch and I have to use either a brow pomade or a brow pencil to cover up HER mistake! I will never be returning the service is horrible, one of the ladies is way too rough and careless of her actions and has an attitude worst experience ever! Update I talked to the person in charge and I complained and told me it was my fault that they messed up and I should've gone back when they literally closed right after I left! He said that next time I should just not go with the lady that did mine and I said so your okay with your employees hurting customers and refusing to listen to them when they are hurting them and he said that he can't control what they do and that it was my fault. read more

Had no idea this place was open. Decided to stop by since it was down the street from where I live. No appointment needed, went in was helped right away and had no problems. The lady that did my eyebrows did a pretty good job she was a little heavy on the hand but definitely appreciated her effort in trying to get all my baby hairs. I'll be back to get my eye lashes done.. especially being that they have specials till the end of February. Not to mention they had pretty good prices already. Eyebrows: Exceptional. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded before and had no pain at all. However my eyes did water quite a bit here. I did love the end result. Why my reviews is 1 star Eyelash Extensions: Someone once told me not to trust a place cheaper than $100. They were right. The glue was everywhere. Kind of appeared as if I did my eyeliner and it was a wreck (for about 5 days). Some also seemed to be misplaced and uneven. The ends of the eyelashes began lifting after a few days (I avoided makeup the entire time I had them, I was promised 2-4 weeks with them). I decided to take them off because they started looking cheaper and cheaper than they were. Sort of like my younger sister applied them to me for practice. When taking them off I used steaming water and olive oil. I did get some spots that wouldn't lift unless my own eyelashes came with which was extremely painful. You get what you pay for. Save your money or go to a lash bar that is professional and knows what they're doing. Only one woman threads and one applies lashes. Will never go to back for lashes. Or trust the woman who does them. But definitely would give the woman who threads another chance. read more

My daughter and I decided to give this new threading shop a try, being that it is close by. My daughter's brows came out OK, not the greatest. My lady butchered my eyebrows. Too thin, not arched, and I have a bit of a bald spot on one brow!! Then while threading my upper lip she sliced me in the corner of my mouth. She had to pause to stop the bleeding. Neither lady used powder before threading either. I've been getting threaded for several years and this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. What's worse, is that they deleted my Facebook review!! Guess they don't want the truth out there, just their own employees 5 star reviews. read more

I have gotten my eyebrows threaded for 6 years, & trust me, it never gets easier. The pain will always be there, it's not like waxing where your skin builds a resistance to it. I see some negative reviews & it makes me sad, because they really do a great job regardless. Yeah it hurts, but they cannot control our pain tolerance. They also offer waxing services, if the pain of the threading is too unbearable for you. I have gone too a few other threading places before this one, & in all cases, I have walked out with cuts, or a little blood. It's almost the price you pay when going in for threading. You cannot blame the workers, in my opinion. I think it's just something that tends to happen no matter where you go, or how careful the person is. Their friendly staff is great, & they always manage to fix my eyebrows. Even after I accidentally messed them up myself during quarantine. I saw this place yesterday when I stopped by heb, I usually get my eyebrows threaded, so I was extremely excited to try this place out. Today when I went, I didn't have to wait at all. I was greeted by the only lady there and she was sanitizing the chairs and other equipment.. she quickly helped me. My eyebrows came out great, although I did tear a little bit, the pain wasn't nearly as bad as some other places I have gone to. I didn't get very red either. I'd had my eyebrows threaded many times when I lived overseas. It always hurt like heck and brought tears to my eyes. But that was over 10 years ago. Recently, I started to break out around my brows after waxing and most places seem to keep their wax too hot. At the recommendation of a friend I gave this place a try. I was nervous and braced myself for the torture. However, it was not bad at all. In fact, it was less painful than waxing. She was very gentle and quick. I'm glad I came and will be back! read more
