My usual brow girl canceled on me the day before a trip! So I was looking for a spot nearby to get them done. I did a walk in on a Tuesday afternoon. I had to wait about 15 minutes which I didn't think was bad since they had a constant flow of customers. I did a brow map, thread, and tint. I requested to keep as much of my brow thickness as possible and that I wanted the tint to look natural because I wasn't sure how dark they usually go at this location. My brows turned out even and to the thickness I would prefer. The woman who did them kept checking with me every step to make sure I was satisfied. I will say that the tint looked like I had not even had any so I would not say natural again and maybe say lighter tint or something because the tint was a waste. Overall I was satisfied with the service. I've never had threading done before and I did notice some tiny scabbing spots a few days later but no one else would be able to tell. The only thing I really didn't like was the woman did not use gloves. Because she was touching my face and occasionally brushed against my lip I really wished she was wearing them during the service. Alright, it's time for a little update. I haven't been back here in a while because to be honest I have another brow shop that's less convenient for me I prefer. Harman salon is not consistent with my brows, it depends on who you see. But, it's close to my house, so I decided to swing by without an appointment to see if they could fit me in. As usual the place is packed, which is not their fault! I let the check-in attendant know that I'd be happy to make an appointment and return later if there was a long wait, but she reassured me they could get to me in 10 minutes. That time quickly doubled. I continued to wait, but then realized that others who had also come in without an appointment after I did were already being helped. I was at the 30 minute mark. Maybe I should have said something earlier, but honestly with the quality of their work in mind I just decided to leave. Made the drive to my favorite spot and got excellent service in less than 5 minutes. Worth the 25 minute drive. I won't be back. read more

I wasn't going to say anything, but I'm still really disappointed. Everything was great until she cut a whole chunk off the end of my eyebrow after finishing the threading. Every time I come in, they mention how I don't have much hair in that area already which is true and okay. I've always had great experiences before, but my eyebrow still hasn't grown back, and it makes my face look uneven and unbalanced. I had been getting the mapping services so they would stay identical, but I switched to just threading at my last appointment. I'm just disappointed this happened, especially after struggling so much with my eyebrows for so long. I'd suggest not asking for a trim with scissors. read more

So I drove 30 mins to come here as a walk in because it says walk ins welcome. When I came in to say I was a walk in for threading they basically said I could not wait I would need to come back in 2 hrs (scheduling me an appointment) I stated I wouldn't mind waiting stated I couldn't I needed to come back. So basically don't come here as a walk in they make you schedule an appointment and if you schedule an appointment and don't make it on time they'll still charge you btw. I love, love, love this place and the atmosphere. I followed Sarah here from where she worked prior, so I'm a regular for threading and tinting. Today Layla served me and she was equally wonderful and did my eyebrows, widows peak, and forehead as well as henna tinting on my brows. I'm very pleased with the results. Harman is the BEST! I feel so grateful to have found her. Not only is she talented but overall just a beautiful person inside and out. You can not help but feel at peace in her presence. Clean establishment. Fairly priced. Threading much less painful than waxing. The only time I had my eyebrows tinted they were to dark. My hair is colored blonde and I normally am a dirty blonde so they said they match it to your roots. They attempted to tone it down but it was still pretty dark so I decided to just skip this service in the future. Their threading service is great. I have had several technicians who have all been good. When I went in the first time, I asked about scheduling appointments for threading and was told it was a walk in service so I was disappointed about that. There is plenty of parking. FINALLY found my favorite threading place in San Antonio! Went in a few times and had a different person thread my brows each time - all did a good job and left me happy! I recently did a lash lift with Amreen (who also did my eyebrows) and I was SPEECHLESS. I love them so much and received so many compliments! Pictures below are 1. Not coming back after giving them a second chance. I have been here twice in the past 2 months for face threading and let me tell you if you come here for anything other than eyebrows, it's not worth the money. I only tried to give this place a try because the place I used to go to went out of Both times I have come here I have been done by one of the other workers other than Harman and her daughter so im not sure if they give better service but anyways, both times I have come here the lady has burnt and scratched my face leaving marks and abrasions everywhere. To be clear, I am not a beginner to facial hair removal, so I'm well aware you need to discontinue use of retinol products, benzoyl peroxide, etc at least 30 days before treatment. However, I do not use any of these products, which leaves my fault out of the skin ripping off and burning. To add, I usually get my eyebrows waxed at an ulta every once in a while and I never get this problem. I have to admit the first time wasn't as bad as this time, I just had 2 scratches that were small and minor so I didn't mind it. Now I have to walk around with scarring all over my face. To add, they had a promotion, "facial threading, mask, and 2 clinical products for $69", but I never received or was even offered any products. The lady who was working on my also spilled wax all over my hair and was cutting it out without permission. Beautiful salon, with kind workers but not worth the money. Today was my second visit to this establishment. My previous visit was with Harman for eyebrow threading and measuring, which was a great experience. However, today, I went online to book a follow-up appointment with Harman but noticed that wasn't a service provided at the time of booking, so I booked with Amreen instead. Before the appointment, I mentioned I only wanted my eyebrows cleaned up. Amreen asked if I had been to the salon prior, to which I answered yes with Harman when she measured my eyebrows. The appointment was over, and she handed me the mirror in which I was in total SHOCK; my eyebrows were significantly thinned out and reshaped. She apologized for the miscommunication and explained I should have been more specific that I was trying to grow out my eyebrows, even though I was clear that I was only there for a clean-up, not a shaping! I'm still in disbelief at how thin my eyebrows are, even after trying to fill them in. This horrific experience will take me months to grow out and start from scratch. read more
