This amazing Loca lash miracle ángel named Morgan did an amazing job saving my eyelashes! I had a horrible experience with fake eyelashes at the Little Indian salon where the older lady stated she knew how to put on lashes and clearly she didn't! She first used lash glue then brushed wig glue on my eyelashes to keep them in place! My lashes looked horrible, I now wish I would have taken a picture of them. It was late at night when she finished and I spent the next 3 hours trying to take them off after she refused to do so as the acetone she was using was burning my eyes. I had no luck and the next morning I called the brow bar and Morgan agreed to come in early to remove the lashes as I was in so much pain. Morgan patiently took 2 hours to save as many of my lashes as she could! I am sincerely thankful for Morgan, she knows her stuff and I got to see pictures of her work, she is TALENTED and God sent! I am SO impressed by Tara (and Jillian!) at Brow Bar. I previously had "powder" permanent cosmetic eyebrow tattoos and they were incredibly faded/thin/terrible looking. I called BB and Jillian, who was incredibly helpful, set me up with a fast-turnaround microblading appointment with Tara to try to fix my haphazard brows. When Tara saw my brows, she told me she would try her best but since it was a "corrective" procedure, she may not be able to get the results that I was hoping for. I'm telling you, the damage was pretty significant and I knew she was hesitant to make a promise that she wasn't sure she could keep. BUT, BOY WERE WE BOTH WRONG. Tara not only gave me my dream, thick, natural-looking eyebrows, but she was able to COMPLETELY cover my past poorly-done permanent cosmetics and blend the microblading over the top of it with effortless ease. I have since been back for two touch-up appointments, and each time, my eyebrows keep looking better and better. After a year spent trying to fade the 'microblading' results from my visits with Jillian and having to pencil in my eyebrows every day in an attempt to make them symmetrical, I felt ready to have some additional corrective work on my brows. I couldn't help but notice that The Brow Bar had recently gotten some great reviews for their microblading. These reviews, however, were always for a technician named Tara Montez and not for Jillian herself. I reached out to Tara on social media and discovered she was no longer working with Jillian. She remembered my brows and she was willing to try to fix them. I'm not going to lie, I was VERY nervous having anything done at all. But after consulting with Tara, I began to relax a bit. Tara was professional and meticulous as she measured, marked, and made a plan to repair my brows. It was challenging, as she had to work around scarring and misplaced marks from my previous sessions with Jillian. But Tara seemed determined to give me a great result. The next time I visited the lash technician next to us was using the f*word frequently. UH-MAZING! I currently can't do my makeup due to a recent surgery and thought a wax and tint would help me out and boost my mood a bit. She did such a great job and didn't stop until they were as perfect as could be. I wish I had a before photo because like I told her, 1999 ate my eyebrows and I have hardly any left. She worked some serious magic. I will say, as a newbie, I thought it would tint my skin for 3-4 weeks but in reality, it only lasts a couple days but the tinted "baby hairs" should still make a huge difference. I got tired of pencilling my eyebrows in everyday, and did some research and settled on microblading. Then I researched specialists in my area and settled on The Brow Bar due to their excellent reviews, thorough website, and before-and after photos. The price ($595) was reasonable and within the range I was expecting to pay for semi-permanent cosmetics. It was easy to schedule online. It is located between Laser Quest and Magnolia Pancake Haus; as you walk into the salon mall, turn left, and head to Suite 57. I met Tara on a Saturday afternoon. She could tell that I was nervous, so she put me at ease with her comfortable, friendly demeanor. She discussed what type of brow I was looking for: thickness, arch, and color. She waxed a few strays, then set about drawing my brow. Then she did some measurements and 'tweaked' the brow shape, until we were both satisfied with the shape. We joked that they should be 'sisters, not twins'!!! After numbing the area, she started the microblading. I'd love to say that it didn't hurt. But it did; a LOT more than I expected. But I pulled up my big girl panties and sucked it up. It's like a 'death of a thousand cuts' deal. She did four 'passes', each pass consisting of cutting the skin several times and then applying the ink and letting it set five(?) minutes. Each 'pass' hurt more than the last; probably because the numbing gel was wearing off with time, and possibly because the new cut would come close to- or across another cut. The end result?? OMG freaking amazing!!! I have eyebrows again!!! And it really doesn't look like a 'tattoo' or stamped on brow; it looks like hundreds of little hairs!! This process is amazing! She gave simple after-care instructions and told me what to expect as my skin heals. As a nurse, I can say that her instructions are completely sound. I'll return in about 30 days for a final touch up (included in the price). I highly recommend this procedure if you have sparse or thinning eyebrows. Please see my photos for before & after. I wandered into the Brow Bar after gorging on pancakes next door, and surprised poor Jillian with a spur-of-the-moment reqest for an appointment. She happened to have a time slot open, and was very nice and accomidating considering I ambushed her. Jillian promised me my eyebrows would be "Instagram worthy". I would have been happy with just a taming of the sea cucumbers that had taken over my forehead, but I was blown away- my eyebrows have never looked so shapely. I don't ever write them, but she did a great job and doesn't have any reviews flaunting it: First off, Jillian is super sweet (: She was great over the phone, and let me come in for an eyebrow wax right away as I was looking for. I got there and she was very nice. She started off asking for what look I wanted and what I usually do. She announces everything in order before she does anything. "First I'm going to trim everything, then I'm going to wax here here and here, and then I'll tweeze last to do the shaping". She made sure to check with me if the wax is too warm (but it was perfect), and she uses a hard wax which is less irritating than other waxes. She did such a good job I actually started getting so relaxed I was sort of dozing off! She's also quirky and funny- nice to chit chat with! I asked her for advice/ recommendations on what fillers to use and she finished me off by filling them in as well. Very satisfied read more

For years I have been trying to grow my brows and get a nice shape and it's tough since I am a military wife. But I can't stress enough how much I love where my brows are at right now---fuller and more shape! She takes her time and is soooo detailed with her work. This was my first time ever getting my eyebrows tinted, so I obviously didn't know much about it. They did a TERRIBLE JOB. One lady wearing glasses said that since my eyebrows are already really dark, it'll probably just stain my skin... So they did it anyways. I genuinely had no clue they'd turn out this messy. The other lady actually doing them didn't even follow the shape of my eyebrows and just went outside of my line, leaving SO much extra color all around my natural eyebrow line. It looked like a child was playing with my brows. So the lady tried to clean it up, excessive rubbing my skin with cleaning alcohol and whatever other chemicals she used. Thankfully I was able to scrub most of it off with face wash after a few times. Following morning, my skin broke out EVERYWHERE-forehead, cheeks, chin. They didn't even wipe up the chemicals on my face. They didn't charge me and gave me a free wax, BUT I DON'T RECOMMEND. TERRIBLE JOB AND I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL. NEVER GOING BACK HERE. read more
