Been procrastinating on getting a facial and thankfully, their website scheduling system allowed me to schedule my appointment in the middle of the night lol The following morning from scheduling I called because I had questions that the website couldn't answer. I wanted to get a skin assessment so they can help address any problem areas. They called me right back and answered my questions, and advised me to arrive to my appointment earlier, so they could provide me an assessment. Was greeted promptly and professionally by Quinn. The location smells amazing first off! Very relaxing atmosphere, soothing colors and dim lighting sets the mood. Quinn conducted my assessment and was thorough in asking about what skincare products, brands I use and what order I use them in. She recommended a microdermabrasion and a hydrating papaya overnight mask. She started with a deep clean, then provided a wonderful face and décolletage massage, followed by exfoliation, extraction. Towards the end, a series of hydration creams, and finally she put on the papaya enzyme mask that I will wash off in the morning for added hydration and brightening. Quinn sent me home with several samples from their medical grade products to try. They sell a full line on site, based on different client needs and goals. They were kind enough to provide a Yelp discount for $15 for being a new client too. All in all had a great experience, a relaxing facial and good information on skin care! As one of the first 50 people who attended the Grand Opening, I was able to book a free facial and I received a goodie bag of great products :D ! Dixie and her staff were all impeccably and beautifully dressed in black and white for this amazing occasion :D ! And they welcomed customers like myself to refreshments :) ! Vanessa and Zyla at the front desk have both been really helpful :) ! On that particular Saturday, I received a complimentary red light therapy from one of their friendly estheticians, as well as a skin ID card with recommendations for future sessions :) ! I finally came in yesterday on a Friday morning to redeem my free facial :) ! I had booked the Foundrie Glow, along with a $20 scalp massage :) ! At the time of my booking, the associate who assisted me with scheduling had informed me that, since this is a free facial, that I would just be responsible for paying for any enhancements or add-ons (like the $20 scalp massage). I told her that I totally understood because the free facial itself is already a very nice treat :D ! Sabrina, the esthetician who worked on me, is absolutely amazing :D ! She really took the time to get to my skin type. I told her that I have always struggled with dry skin. She really helped to calm and relax me :) ! I really liked how she made recommendations, but was not pushy at all. Since she noticed that my skin was indeed pretty dry, she recommended the Bio Effects hydrating mask, in addition to the scalp massage that I had requested. I really liked how she checked with me first before proceeding with additional services. I told her that I would like to try the hydrating mask after all, especially since it has been a while since I had one. I have to admit that, after receiving the Foundrie Glow, the Bioeffects hydrating mask, and the scalp massage, I felt so much better and a lot more relaxed :) ! Sabrina drafted a new skincare ID card for me (which she said each customer receives with every visit), recommended a facial every 4 weeks, and the micro honey exfoliator and moisture balance toner :) ! Even towards the end of the day and evening yesterday, I felt that the effects of her facial really kept my face and skin nice and moist :) ! I decided to lock in the Face Foundrie Founding Maven membership rate of $79/month before the lock-in deadline expires on May 17 because it is such a great deal :D ! When my membership starts on June 1, my next facial will include at least one enhancement. Furthermore, I get a 10% discount off of additional services and products :) ! The facial sessions at Face Foundrie are 40 minutes, versus the 60-minute sessions I have had with Massage Envy. But I have to admit that 60 minutes for a facial is kind of long for me, and I would rather use that longer length of time for a massage instead! I'm heartbroken and furious about what happened to me at Stadia Med Spa. I want to start by saying…read morethat Gina and Darby were absolutely wonderful -- their facials and laser treatments were the only good part of my experience. They were kind, professional, and made me feel cared for. I would return to them in a heartbeat if they were at any other med spa. But my experience with Naz, the injector, was the complete opposite, and I feel truly betrayed. I trusted her, and that trust was shattered. I was never clearly told what everything would cost or how much filler she planned to use. I walked out having been injected with what I was later told was around 8 vials of product -- far more than I ever agreed to or even imagined was appropriate. Over 6k! I kept trying to explain the subtle, natural look I wanted, and I felt completely ignored. Right now, I look in the mirror and I barely recognize myself. My face looks overfilled and unnatural, like it's full of product I never wanted. The bruising is severe and still hasn't gone down even after four days. I can't describe how upsetting and humiliating this has been. I feel taken advantage of -- emotionally, financially, and physically. If you're considering this place, my honest advice is this: Only go to Stadia Med Spa for facials and laser treatments. Stay far, far away from their injector, Naz. I never want anyone else to feel the shock, regret, and heartbreak I'm dealing with right now.

She also offered breaks in between waxing if I needed it. It honestly wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. It wasn't bad at all. I also really enjoyed Missy's company. Talking to her took my mind off the pain and it went by super fast. I'd like to add that everything was sanitary. The space was clean, comfortable, and relaxing.
