So it's been a couple years or so since I had the "microblading" done. I wanted to follow up on my previous comment to let you know that the ink used on my brows have faded to a grey color. The pattern is absolutely a solid "sharpie" looking outcome. By sharpie, I'm talking about the way some people make a solid painted on brow look. There is no way to correct this and I'm stuck with something I absolutely did NOT want and was trying to avoid. I should have has the person that did her brows do mine. I didn't realize until it was too late, my therapist had only just completed her initial training within the year when I had my brows done. With a lot of makeup, I am trying to correct the work done. Got my eyebrows done with J.Lee back when she was working out of NYC. I cannot recommend her more! I've been wanting to do this forever but I'm such a wuss when it comes to pain. It took me awhile to convince myself that it's "worth the pain". Well I don't know what I was worried about because it did not hurt anywhere near what I thought. FIRST VISIT: Lee left the numbing cream on my eyebrows for 20 minutes. When she's actually doing the microblading part, honest-to-god I barely felt it. If anything I felt it more when she was wiping the ink off. The process took some time so I actually feel asleep (and probably snored/ snorted at some point lol). Your eyebrows feel sore after but she will put numbing cream on you before you head out. POST CARE: Definitely follow the post care instructions to make sure the ink takes and you don't have any issues. SECOND VISIT: I came back I think 1-2 mo after my first one. On the second visit I also decided to get the shading since I like the bold eyebrow look. Now this one I DEFINITELY feel more than regular microblading. But it definitely did not hurt as much as a thought (remember I'm a big baby with pain). If you've been waffling back on forth on whether you should take the microblading plunge, I highly recommend you do it. It's so nice to get that extra time in the morning to not have to fill in your brows. And definitely go with Lee. She's super! read more

I got my brows microbladed for the very first time with Lee and I have to say, I couldn't have had a better experience especially as a newbie. I really didn't know what to expect but Lee guided me through the entire process explaining each step and was extremely precise in getting the right brow shape for me. She's super sweet and made me feel relaxed throughout the session and did not hesitate to answer all my questions throughout. The process itself was seamless and hardly painful at all. The numbing cream really helps and she was exceptionally clean and made sure to check-in with me frequently to see if I was feeling any pain. After the session she gave me detailed post-care instructions with a protective ointment to put on my brows at home. Make sure you follow those instructions! I recently had micro blading by Jess Lee and all I can say is OMG, why did I wait soo long!!!. I had been researching this for quite some time but never felt comfortable enough with anyone to take the plunge, especially during COVID. After speaking with Jess, I felt at ease to proceed. She explained the entire process from start to finish and still walked me through every step of the way. She is very meticulous and makes you feel comfortable enough to ask questions and listens to feedback. She is also very clean and takes all precautions to keep you safe. I really can not tell you all what a game changer getting my eyebrow microbladed has been for me. I Definitely over plucked my eyebrows in the 90s and I have been very self-conscious of my sparce, patchy eyebrows over the years and filling them in just right daily has been such a hassle. Now I just wake up with perfect eyebrows, throw on a little Tinted moisturizer and mascara and I'm ready to go!!! I've been hesitant to get this done just because of the thought of getting them done incorrectly scared me so bad, I did a lot of homework on all the people in the area, and Jess stood out the most to me!
