They messed up my eyebrows. My brows are now uneven and have no arch. I have less hair on one side than the other. I have good brows that normally don't require to be filled in. I had to go to Ulta after to get them fixed. They are uneven, they cut them too low, and they didn't trim hairs. Save your money and your brows. I am really sad I went here. read more

BEWARE! I went in on Friday for threading and a facial and noticed they too do lash lifts... I opted to get it done being that I was already there. Threading was good, facial, okay.... BUT THE LIFT was a TOTAL DISASTER!! WhenI got home, I could no longer see my eyelashes as the were curled to where you couldn't even tell my original length. I cried for 3 hours straight... and called multiple salons to see if they could correct this nightmare. After 4-5 calls, one salon was able to reverse it as "best" as they could.... but, damage was already done. I went back here... because I was told that the owner would call me... (as I had requested) but NO CALL! The girl saw my eyelashes and accused ME for "touching" them and that I was the reason for the damage. I called it BS! I have a wedding next week, and I am so worried that they will break off.... from being over processed. Next move is to go back and request my money back! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Came here over the weekend with my two daughters. One of my girls needed waxing (under arms). The lady was very nice and gentle with her (this was her first time). My other daughter wanted henna. We are very dark skinned and we asked if the henna would show up. They said they only had brown henna, not black henna. They put a little design on my daughters hand for free to see if it would show up the next day (it did slightly but very light). We appreciate the customer service and the time and patience they had with us. We will be coming back soon. Thank you so much! read more

It's so difficult to find a good eyebrow threading place. I used to go to Waxing in the City but $20 for waxing my eyebrows is way too much. I also have tried European Wax Center, but they are pricey as well. I've tried this place twice; my first time was great but I didn't get her name, which was my fault. Today, I had some random woman and she cut my skin with the thread. I'm so horrified because it hurt when she put the aloe on it. Where can I find a good threading spot that this doesn't happen. I'm beginning to think the younger woman has moved on to another place. Underarm ... they leave you messy. The powder is all over your clothes and they don't bother to clean up after themselves. RUN AWAY!!! They will leave you wrecked! I made the mistake of coming in here to get my eyebrows threaded after moving to the Alamo Ranch area. The girl who did my eyebrows was terrible. She was kind of rude and kept pinching my skin and did a sloppy job leaving little hairs. When I looked in the mirror I almost died. One eyebrow was higher than the other and they were different sizes altogether. I was so furious I couldn't even look at her because I'm not an argumentative person and honestly I didn't want her going anywhere near my face again. I simply asked the other employee that was working if she could fix the damage that was done and pointed out that they were two very obviously different shapes. The girl agreed, apologized and tried to kind of fix them but honestly they looked horrible and were left so thin. The girl that ruined my brows never even asked why I was getting them fixed by the other employee or apologized. It took a few visits but my usual esthetician at Beauty of Arch got them back into shape and at equal heights. I will NEVER step foot into this place again and I will gladly drive the extra few miles to Beauty of Arch. read more

I went yesterday to get my eyebrows threaded. Very clean looking place and the two ladies were friendly when i walked in. My eyebrows came out good but not great. Before i paid i asked about their henna tattoos. Ive gotten henna tattoos before from other places btw. I was showed a book with pricing with some beautiful pieces and i chose a $25 piece from the book. During the process i told the lady doing it that it wasn't really looking like what was on the photo and she proceeded to say it will be similar but not exact, which i can understand, however not only wasn't it exact, but it was looking very sloppy. When she got done i hated it. Honestly, looks like a child drew on my hand. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the other lady at the register and even showed her, and all she did was giggle and say "yes i see." However she still charged me the full $25 for it and no apology or anything. I was so annoyed that i just paid and left, they had other customers so I didn't want to cause a scene. Even left a tip for my eyebrows. Nice ppl but very poor customer service and VERY sloppy henna work. Will not return. read more

I will always give credit where it's due, so let me start by saying this place is affordable and fast. I did not have a great experience my first time, but decided to give it another try today, which only confirmed I will no longer be returning here. During my first visit, the lady who assisted me was friendly at first. But then she tried to sell me on every service under the sun, but in a rude and abrasive way. I came in to have my brow and lip threaded. First she proceeded to tell me I'm growing a beard and she could take care of my jaw/sideburns for me. I said no thank you. Then she commented that I could really use a facial because I had a lot of acne and blackheads. "I can take care of that." I said no thank you. Then she asked about my lash extensions which I just got filled. And she said a lot of them were falling out "I can take care of that too." She probably meant no harm, but her sales technique comes off rude and needs a lot of work. I went back for another visit today and went to a different girl who kept addressing me as "girl, this" and "girl, that." First of all, you are in a business environment and I am not your friend, so do not address me as such. I overlooked that issue and when she handed me the mirror to look at my brows I noticed she cut/burned me with the thread. It's an obvious line from threading. I asked her about it and she blamed it on me saying that it was from me plucking. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. While this place is affordable and fast, you honestly get what you pay for, which is cheap and low quality service. read more

I walked in and they acknowledged me so I sat down to wait my turn. Shortly after that, several more people walked in and signed in...umm didn't really see the sign in or have them tell me to do so. I saw this place when I was driving by a few days ago and today I finally decided to go get my eyebrows threaded. There were two girls working and about three in the waiting room. I signed in and only ended up waiting for about 15 minutes. When I sat in the chair I told my stylist what I wanted and she explained to me what she was going to do before she began. After she was done she let me look at it and then asked if I wanted anymore taken off. She did a great job explaining everything and I will be back. I've struggled to find a decent threading salon here. The first time I visited I showed the technician a photo of how I like my eyebrows done (from a place back home), she did well. Hurt a bit more than other salons, but wasn't horrible. I went back today it was not good. The shape is okay, but she cut me with the thread. She was so rough my eyes watered. I've been threading for years so I'm pretty used to the sensation, but this was bad. I have neosporin on my cut to heal it up before my vacation this weekend. If I decide to go back, I'm avoiding the person who did my eye brows today. Beware! read more

I went to Arch 2 Arch yesterday because I couldn't make it to my usual salon. BIGGEST REGRET. When I entered the business I noticed there were no customers at all and after my visit, I understood why. I checked in as a first time customer and was told to sit in the first chair. The lady threading my eyebrows commented on my acne flare up and then asked me, "and what are you doing for that?" I let it slide and thought maybe she wasn't trying to be rude. I told her I wanted my eyebrows on the thinner side because that's how I like them and she then commented, "Definitely. I can tell it's been awhile since you last maintained your eyebrows." EXCUSE ME....? I will say she did a great job on my eyebrows, and THAT'S what I paid her for and that's why I still left a tip. However, I did not need her unnecessarily rude commentary to go along with it. She handed me a brochure on my way out and told me they have other services and she would see me in 2 weeks. I will not be returning. As someone who tips exceptionally well and tends to overlook A LOT of customer service issues, I'll be going to any salon other than this one. There's a way to up-sell other services like facials for acne-prone skin without making customers feel like crap. read more

I am a regular customer here but lately I've been unhappy with the times. This is my 2nd time in a week (both with appointment times) and been finally seen 30 mins (or more) passed my appointment time. I'm usually an understanding and patient customer but when I have other things I have to do, it makes me angry that I don't get seen at my appointment time. I went here today on a whim because it was nearby in Alamo Ranch and I NEEDED to get my eyebrows and lip done. I walked right in around 3 PM on a Saturday. No line, no wait. I was greeted and sat down right away with Naz. She was so nice! And when I started getting my lip done she noticed me wincing and promised she would be as gentle as possible and she definitely was very careful. I wasn't even red afterwords which is a first! Then I went to check out and was offered a $10 facial to try out for 10 minutes and it was great! My face felt super clean and tingly afterwards. They use Dermalogica! Altogether it was only $23! Then as I was checking out the manager Rounak was very helpful and knowledgeable answering my questions about my skin. Even gave me a sample and instructions on how to use it! Loved it! I get my eyebrows threaded every 2 weeks. My usual girl was closed and I desperately needed to get them done. I stopped by here since I was in the area. I would not recommend them. The girl who did my eyebrows left them uneven and just not clean. She was very rough and her nails were scratching my face. My eyebrows are red and swollen. Stopped in Arch 2 Arch today because I was already in Alamo Ranch, and I didn't want to fight the construction traffic to get to my normal place on potranco. That was a mistake. The lady that did my threading was not at all friendly. Perhaps my normal lady at Beauty of the Arch has spoiled me, but I at least expected a polite hello and not just "what do you need today". She also jerked my head around and seemed very annoyed that I didnt put my hand exactly where she wanted it while she was doing my eyebrows. She was incredibly slow, making it more painful that normal (or necessary). I was pretty irritated with her, so when she was done I quickly checked the mirror and got up to go. That was also a mistake. As soon as I got home, I took a look in my makeup mirror and basically had to pluck my eyebrows again and it looks like she did nothing to my lip. She did a terrible job. Was it partly my fault for not looking closely in their mirror? Absolutely; that's why I did 2 stars instead of 1, because she could have possibly fixed everything if I had pointed it out. Bottom line, I wont be back, ever. I'll continue to visit Beauty of the Arch for a quicker, more thorough and less expensive service. read more
