Was badly in need of getting my gels redone and popped into this place randomly. Am I glad that I did! Phong and his wife Tracy are a husband and wife who take pride in their shop/service. While the pandemic has created tough times for everyone they are working hard to give the customers what they want and with a smile. Phong went above and beyond to ensure that I got the color I was looking for after a previous salon had not, he also took the time to shape my nails. All while carrying on some excellent conversation! I did not feel rushed whatsoever and I can truly say it was a one of kind/relaxing experience. I will mostly definitely be back. Angelic Nails is just ok. Nothing special... Pros: prices are reasonable, location, employees were nice enough, nice basic massage Cons: Not enough people working. There was only 2 girls working on a Sunday afternoon going back and forth between clients. Salon was dead silent. Some may like this, however, I did not. No music, no tv on, nothing. I find this kind of awkward to be honest. Not experienced in nail art. We were told by the employee that she couldn't do nail art and the other girl working would have to do it. Although I appreciated her honesty, if you are a professional nail tech, shouldn't your skills be beyond just simple polishing of nails? I showed the other worker a picture of a pokeball as what my daughter requested and it came out ok. I honestly could have done better, but my kid was pleased and I'm a perfectionist so, it is what it is. Nail edges clean up. I think a professional should use a nail brush dipped in polish remover to clean up around the edges not use their own nail to scrape the polish off around the sides. I didn't receive any cuticle oil to finish either. Cleanliness. Salon could be cleaner. Seems a little outdated. Case was cluttered with junk as you first walk in. Overall, it was ok, but this isn't the only nail shop in SA and I'll keep trying to find my perfect nail shop. I had high hopes for this one given the great reviews on here and sadly, I was let down.

Super friendly, laid back, & funny staff. Having actual real conversations with the nail techs was a nice change from most other salons I've been to. Wait was a little long because they were short staffed that day, but it was worth the wait. Actual services were quick - the 2 techs on hand teamed up together (one on hands, one on feet) to get me done faster to make up for the wait - & final product looked great. Would like to see a bigger selection of darker/alternative colors & more glitters/metallics in the shellac polish, but that's just my personal preference. Most colors available are light & bright, just not my thing. But they were able to combine one of the chrome powders on top of plain black shellac to come up with a color & finish that I loved. Prices are beyond fascistic, BTW. Will definitely be back.

I should've walked out when I first walked in and saw the condition of this salon. Absolutely filthy. And the fact that I had to request new/clean tools speaks volumes about the quality you will receive here. She began using a nasty and very used nail filer and clippers and I said no. Other than taking off the nails I had before, she did absolutely nothing. What manicure did I pay for exactly. It's no wonder they have signs like no refunds and complaints. I'm sure there are many of them. Save yourself the heartache and go a little further to Alamo Ranch and get a real manicure. I guess you get what you pay for here at Angelic Nails. Very sweet people so it pains me that I feel the need to share. I was charged 110 for basic toes and nails. She was not able to do the style I asked for so I had to settle. I only tipped 3 bucks. I felt bad because I'm a big tipper. If my nails were nice I would not mind spending 110. These are not worth 110. I will definitely be getting them fixed somewhere else tomorrow. read more

They were super nice when my nails were done and I really loved the way they looked. However, they started lifting within 8 days. I got the solar nails with a tip. When I went to paint them, the nail polish leaked underneath them. So that's when I first started noticing them lifting from the cuticle area. Then 2 days later they started popping off. I called and asked what they could do and was told I probably wash my hands too much . I'm not a dishwasher and I use gloves when I do dishes. Solar nails are suppose to last longer than acrylic. I work in an office and I only type. So it's not like I was damaging them. I won't be going back. read more

Literally just walked out of this place and I'm very angry and disappointed. No other customers when we entered. Was put in a chair immediately without getting a chance to choose a color. Water was barely the temperature of warm bath water. Wasn't asked about a color until I was already soaking my feet. Wasn't offered a pedicure package until he had already painted my toes with shellac. I tell him that anywhere I've been always does the pedicure services before painting shellac, and he tried to argue with me about it! So I made it clear that I just wanted him to finish so I could leave. Then he does an oil and hot towel treatment! Who does oil and not lotion?! So now I'm greasy as well. Don't go here. They don't know what they're doing. And they charged $20 for shellac. Ridiculous!!! read more

Went to get a pedicure after I had a terrible experience at another place. It's a small salon but the pedicure was amazing. She really took her time and I had one of the best leg massages I've ever had with a pedicure. They offered drinks and they had a great amount of colors to choose from. I will come back if I'm ever in the area. read more

Only put two starts because their customer service is really good. The workers there are super nice. I got a full set and a pedicure. Pedicure was great. My full set was NOT!! After two days my nails were already lifting up from the sides, my hair would get stuck through under my nails when I would run my fingers through my hair when I showered, and I started seeing that I had these white scratches on top of my nails. Idk where I got them from but mind you I don't do any hard work, hard lifting, nothing. So I don't know how I got them. But just all around I'm very disappointed with my set. They do a great job but they overpriced me alot and didn't even do everything that I'm used to have done on a mani and pedi. They didn't massage legs nor arms and didn't do the hot towels nor clean cuticles but charged outrageous amounts. Going somewhere else that has better prices. read more

I don't like giving bad reviews. People are nice that's why I gave them 2 stars. Back in July we paid for a full set of nails, either the same day or the day after 1 popped off, we called he said bring her back in and he will take care of it, in less then a week they had all popped off except for 2. We got busy, school started never took her back. But my daughter was going regularly and then I started going there. And I reminded him. I got a fill they were horrible so the next day I went in and asked since I just got a fill yesterday and pad $40.00 how much would he charge me for a new set. He said the fill wasn't his work but a new set would be $50.00. So I kept the crappy looking nails. A couple weeks later I took off my nails. My daughter went to get her nails done and made an appt. for me for the next day and paid $25. towards my nails. She also mentioned the set my granddaughter got that popped off. He told her he would take care of her. When we got there he said he couldn't do anything about her nails now but he would discount her set. I bet you can guess for how much. So her set is paid. I don't feel that's taking care of her. And my nails are horrible. My natural nails were nubs and he made the artificial nail even shorter, my skin is longer then the nail. they are crooked and he over charged me.I wanted them square, one side he rounded the other side he left square. I got a new set of nails because my fingers hurt but now they hurt worse and they look like crap. I am on a fixed income so now I have to have ugly nails for the holidays. If a nail tech ever tells you your fingers are difficult to do, walk away they can't do them. My granddaughter's nails look nice. Again, I do not like giving bad reviews but I spent a lot of money today and the last time I was at this shop and I was not happy either time, not at all. read more

I am able to give this place 5 stars because I have been going with Tracy for more than 10 years. She is amazing and everyone on the staff is great too. They do the best pedicures and Tracy is phenomenal when it comes to eyebrows! I even take my daughter there too. I highly recommend this place because of the quality of their work and the friendliness everyone there. read more

One for drinks like alcohol, beverages, coffees, or fruit drinks. You are limited to two. The other menu was for all their services which also had a description as to what was included for Service. I got the lemongrass detox pedi. The scents were amazing and relaxing. I think the hot oil therapy was probably my favorite part. I don't know what was in it, but my feet/ legs felt so much better after. My only issue was with the hot stones. It burned on my left foot which hurt when they put the was treatment on after. I had a bit of a reaction for about a week and half after . I would say just check temperatures if you are sensitive. Regardless , I still left relaxed and pampered. I deff recommend it if you're going with a friend for self care day. I did get a coffee during my pedi ! It was so good! Again, you're able to get two so don't skip out on it.

If my hand wasn't positioned exactly how she wanted, SMACK. If my fingers didn't move fast enough, SMACK. If I blinked wrong? Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't get smacked for that too. It felt more like dealing with a correctional officer than a nail tech. I was genuinely afraid to move my fingers because every tiny adjustment was met with a disciplinary tap, as if I was being punished just for existing. (There were other men there who actually took responsibility, such as the ones who asked for a refund after she added gel when we didn't request it -- and she charged us for a spa treatment instead of the usual $20 fee.) At that point, I was just expecting to be charged extra for breathing or emotional distress. If you enjoy being treated like an inmate instead of a client, this is the place for you. If not, run. Protect your hands.

Instead of being welcomed or offered menus, we were rushed to pick services and had to ask for a menu ourselves. We both chose pedicures in the $50-$60 range, but they repeatedly pushed us to upgrade to the $100 options. We politely declined multiple times (at least 5), yet they continued to ask throughout the service--even in the middle of the pedicure. I understand upselling is normal, but this felt excessive and uncomfortable, especially since it was clear they were annoyed that we weren't upgrading. I was also asked 4-5 times if I wanted a manicure after repeatedly saying no, which added to the pressure. Additionally, they attempted to give my boyfriend gel polish when we had clearly stated we only wanted regular polish. If I hadn't noticed them marking "gel" on the ticket, we likely would have been charged extra without our consent. The service itself felt rushed, and it seemed like steps in the pedicure were skipped, likely because we didn't upgrade. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. It's really disappointing because we've had great experiences here in the past, but after this visit, we won't be returning

Excellent attention to detail. Local Family owned and operated. Super friendly, affordable and they really make every effort to keep a safe environment for both customers and themselves. They are by appointment only and honestly, I prefer it this way. I have referred several family members to Tracy and her daughter Angel, they do not disappoint. Tracy is an artist and has an eye for color and design. She has also saved my nails and made them grow healthy again. Now that I've found her, I will NoT go to another nail salon! I recommend this place, I have been coming to Angelic nails since 2013. They are the most professional, courteous and friendliest staff. Prices are just right for the treatment you get and then some. Lots of colors too choose from. I do dip and great products. Appointments are recommended but they take walk ins too. I am a type of person for appointments. read more

My friend introduced me to this business during the pandemic , summer of 2020 and I've been going back ever since! Tracy is incredible at pedicures. She makes your feet so soft and pretty and since if been going to her, my feet health has improved. Great family business the workers actually take care of you as of you are family. When you enter they take your temperature and then ask you to wash and sanitize your hands. I have been going here for years and recommend this place. read more
