I tend to get my nails done while away on work travel which is how I found Alamo Nails Lounge. It was near'ish to my hotel and also very near to some other shopping I had to do. Win-win. First of all, I really like the location. Convenient and plenty of parking. Either in the garage or in the lot, there's no shortage. Easy sign in upon arrival. No appointment? No problem. This place has more nail techs than any other nail shop I've ever been to. I've been a couple times now and they can always get me right in. Thirsty? They have drink specials, tea, coffee, water.... Whatever you want. The manicures I've gotten haven been spot on. Exactly what I wanted. Pedicures? Quite possibly the nicest ladies have done my feet, which are pretty rough since I'm a runner. This last trip it was recommended I leave out the polish due to the toe trauma which I appreciated. I thought that would've been the end of the service but nope, she went on to give one of the best massages and pedicures ever. I might say it's a bit pricey but it's worth it for the quality and attentiveness. I'll definitely go back and recommend it to coworkers who are in the area. read more

I've had a few manicures and a couple of pedicures here and each time has been very good. It is a little pricey but I think it's worth the price. I went in yesterday for the set pictured and was very impressed with the quality of work by my nail tech, Daisy. I showed her the inspiration photo and she matched it almost exactly. I actually think she did a better job than the photo I showed her. 100% recommend! The vibe is also very relaxing. They start off each manicure and pedicure by asking if I want something to drink. I went in to get hard gel removal only and it cost me $50. Maybe I am naïve, but I did not think it would cost anything near that. I'm not really one to complain or write bad reviews, but it took less than an hour, she kept burning my nails with the drill, and it just wasn't a $50 experience. I made an appointment at 10:30am. Arrived at 10:26 to pick out nail color and proceeded to wait 20 minutes. The owner finally came over and turned the water on which was lukewarm and told me to put my feet in. And I sat there another 10 minutes. I asked for a towel to dry my feet so I could use the restroom and was told they would "get to me". Finally, a nail tech brought me a towel that reeked of mildew. I went to the bathroom and was so upset I decided to leave. When I mentioned this to the man at the front he said "oh you're next!" I told him my appointment was 30 minutes ago and he just shrugged his shoulders. I guess appointment times do not matter to this place of business. Very unprofessional. read more

They need to be reported. They do not practice good hygiene. They do not wear mask or gloves. They are not cleaning according to regulations or state standards. I will say Tracy and Ryan have been polite and professional the last 4 visits. Today I called and made an appt with Tracy. She usually does my nails and pedicure. Today I was Pawned off on the rude lady. I have never seen her before at this location. I knew she was rudely talking about me when it got to the paraffin wax part of my pedi. She held the bag up and started talking In her native language. And the observant person that I am. Her two co workers chimed I'm with their laughter. I luckily have a dear friend of This ladies same origin. So I call her and let her hear the convo. A convo that went on for a good five min. And to my assumption. I was correct. She was talking about the size of my feet. And saying that she didn't think my feet were going to fit in the paraffin bag. All Awhile the other workers are cracking up with her. Well the joke is on YOU. You have caused Hector's Nail lounge to lose a loyal customer. I suggest whomever is doing the hiring here. Speak to your employees about their one main job to do is. And that's making sure the patron feels comfortable and that the services you are providing are PROFESSIONAL! I Will no longer bring my business here.
