I went for the first time with my 3 year old daughter. She loves getting her nails done. They did such a good job with our pedis and my dip mani. The ladies were so sweet to my toddler and let her play in the tub with water and came up with an impromptu fishing game for her. Will definitely come back. read more

I've been going here for a few years now. I'm always happy with the results and the technicians are very kind.

Van and Anna are the best! Always a great quality pedicure and manicure every time. The salon is always clean. Best pedicure!

Came right when they opened and took care of my party right away. Prices were very great and staff was friendly and positive. Would love to come back read more

Went in last week for hard gel nails. They didn't have this option so I got tips. My cuticles weren't pushed back at all, girl did a terrible job shaping and the nail color completely changed from purple to pink when the top coat was applied. read more

This nail salon used to be Nail Styles, but a year ago Chan and V, owner, took over the salon and rebuild, new management everything. We had the absolute BEST experience at Nail Zone. They were incredibly accommodating to us and made the experience so much fun. On top of that, the techs are super talented and did an amazing job. Can't recommend them enough! read more

I love this nail salon!! Everyone is so sweet, fast, and the quality is fanatastic! I go to Lona and she has nailed it every time! Definitely recommend. I also brought my toddler which I was worried about, but they were so sweet to her and gave her candy to help her feel more comfortable! So glad i chose to go here. read more

This has to be the worst nail salon we've ever been to! They fake being nice to you when speaking in English then turnaround and talk so much crap about customers when speaking in their native language. As soon as we walked through the front door, one of the nail technicians called my boyfriend a "big black cow" in their native language and refused to do his pedi because he's African American. They greeted me with "how are you? What would you like to drink?" Then say "Americans are disgusting" in their native language not knowing I'm trilingual and can understand everything they're saying. Prior to coming, I called to see if they have availability for two pedi, they said yes and we showed up 5 minutes after. They skipped all the steps in between the process, I pretty much just got my nails trimmed and nails painted, barely any massages or feet scrubbed or hot towel yet they charged $120 two pedicures. When I revealed that I could speak their language, all three employees looked pale as if they saw a ghost. One employee nervously said "I'm glad I didn't say anything bad because you would've heard everything" yet she called my boyfriend a black cow. We typically go to Valencia Nails on IH-10 W near dominion about every two weeks but it was a Sunday and we didn't book in advance so we decided to try Nail Zone with supposedly 4.0 stars review. If you want to be insulted with crappy service then come to Nail Zone. I will be going back to Valencia Nails to get my nails fixed since Nail Zone did a horrible paint job. Valencia Nails employees have professional etiquette and they treat you like a valuable customer. Don't waste your time and money at Nail Zone! read more

I ended up here when a new place down the street was full, and I am so glad! There were actually no other customers when I arrived, but that just meant it wasn't thick with fumes, which is wonderful. (Traffic picked up later on.) Michael did my pedi, and he had a very gentle hand, both with trimming and with the massage. I like some pressure but also have ticklish, sensitive feet, so this was just right. Nail Style is about a half a mile from my house, so I will definitely make this my first choice next time, and I'll be asking for Michael! read more

Great experience... recommend booking an appointment but they can also call you to come back when it is less crowded. Got pedicures and dip nails. they were very thorough and did a great job - especially on the dip nails. Awesome shaping of my natural nails and can tell these will last a while!! read more

This place is conveniently close to my house so I pop in often. I wouldn't say they have the best selection of colors or that it's the newest or most inviting place BUT they are super friendly and do not rush! Whenever I've gotten a pedicure and new people walk in for a pedicure they don't half ass the rest of mine to get to the next person. This has happened all too many times at other places. I will also say, I have the roughest heels from flip flop wear and somehow this place gets them smooth and the smoothness lasts longer than any other place without charging me all these extra things that they say I need. They just go to work on my heels and they feel great for weeks! read more

This is the only place that I'll go to do my mani and pedi. Van has been my nail tech for the past 4 years and I wouldn't change her for anything. She takes her time and does a great job. She recently moved to this salon and I followed here as her loyal customer. read more

Hidden Treasure...one of the best nail salons in town!! Van is amazing!!! Definitely coming back!!

Edited 5 stars down to 3. I've been here for 4 manicures now. This place is only a few blocks from my house, so I REALLY wanted to like it, but I think I'm disgusted and done. I've been one of the only customers on multiple occasions but no one seems happy I'm there. The only time I was offered a beverage was my first visit. I have tried to make small talk or be otherwise friendly but the employees are so quiet it's uncomfortable. My manicures have taken FOREVER- like 1.5-2 hours for a powder dip! In radio silence. Also, it's not because they take their time. They went after my nails with a drimmel to remove the powder and nearly took off my entire nail bed. My nails have never felt this thin. VERY questionable cleanliness. The nail files barely work, they are so covered with other people's nail filings! The 3rd time I was there, the manager did my powder dip & made a mess out of it. He kept pressing on the nail before it was dry, getting his finger print on it, repainting it, and repeat. He tried to send me out the door with fingerprint smudged nails, until I complained. It's honestly just emotionally draining to come here. I'll keep looking for a good salon in the area. read more

Great place with sweet people. Consistent service and love that they stay open until 7 during the week.

I stopped by after almost a year's absence. The sign said new management. That always makes me nervous. But my nails needed work. I saw Lori. Explained to her what I wanted...essentially, natural looking fake nails. I'm kind of picky that way. An hour later I walked out with the best set I've ever gotten anywhere. The right length, the right shape, perfect thickness. At a quick glance, you'd be hard pressed to tell that these are not my natural nails. Superb. Three weeks later: time for a fill. Yep...they looked great that long. read more

Love getting my nails and toes done at Nail Zone. Very kind people and lovely nail salon.

Wanted to have shellac put on my nails...something I have done for 1 1/2 years. It was the only way I got my nails to grow after having sculptured nails for way to long. English yeah not so much...something I hate! But please why are you filing my nails and scraping off the shellac. It took me forever to get my nails strong enough to wear this way. This women did not know what she was doing, did not understand what I was saying and thinned my nails out. I will never trust this shop and have heard the same from my friends..to bad I did not know ahead of time. read more

I will not waste my time going here again. The guy who did my nails was constantly on his phone and missing steps in the manicure process. Also, he cut two of my cuticles and they bled a lot. He didn't even mention I was bleeding even though my thumbnail had a pool of blood on the base. I had to ask him to clean it before continuing. He also left dried product on the skin of my fingers. To me, the shop is not as pretty and clean as other shops in the area. I used to frequent this salon when it was Nail Styles and I never had a problem, but now I know to stay away from this place. read more

Absolutely the worst place I've ever been to for a mani and pedi. Came in for a mani and pedi for myself a male, and it took over 2 hours. My friend and I came in and there was only one person ahead of us and their excuse was that they were very busy. read more

Terrible salon, nails already chipping (on dip polish done three days ago), and they overcharged from their posted prices significantly.

I really wanted to like this place. Everything was great on my pedi until I jumped a little during my foot scrub...i assumed I was just a little sensitive because it had been a while. Later during my polish application the lady who was doing my pedi used a little piece of cotton where I was a little sensitive which I assumed was to clean a little polish off my skin...well I should have checked because after I left I noticed it was to clean up blood. My toe was cut/scraped and she knew it and continued on without saying anything and charged me full price. A little apology would have gone a long way here but instead I left with a hurt toe and won't be back :( 1 star because it was a nice place with clean facilities and I was able to walk in although I had to limp out :( I even called them to give them a chance to do anything to make it right...she said sorry but everyone makes mistakes and even seemed to get upset at me for asking what they could do to fix it...i guess my mistake was coming here. :( (Side note: I have never left a negative review before because I don't want to hurt small businesses but there was no excuse for this treatment.) read more

I am new to the area and stopped in to the salon last week and was greeted with kind service and a warm atmosphere. From the first time I walked in I was impressed. They saved me from a Solar Nail nightmare. Nail Styles is the cleanest and classiest salon in San Antonio! Nicole is the best of the best. Perfectionist and sweet. I highly recommend Nicole, but have found everyone on staff to be professional and provide quality service. Top notch in all aspects of my experience. read more

I've been going to Nail Styles for over a year and have been extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of the salon, the management, and the outstanding service of the nail technicians/specialists. However, new management purchased the salon a month ago and brought in all new technicians. I went in for the second time under the new management and the man who did my acrylic nail fills was BRUTAL !!!! He cut my cuticles and skin on the sides and under my nails with the drill. I was bleeding when I left and they are very sensitive today. My nails look good, but I just shouldn't be in this much pain. I'm looking for a new nail salon and don't recommend Nail Styles. read more

Jimmy did a fantastic job. I was going to a competitor, they went up on price, got rid of their good people and the ones that were left gave a terrible shellac. They would put the polish on too thick and it would split and crack, plus you could see where it ran. My nails look great after a month. I'm going back. read more
