Came here last minute because I work in the area and my eyebrows were a hot mess... I am always a little nervous to try a new place when it comes to my eyebrows because I usually just do them myself because then I know they'll come out good . Well luckily, this place is awesome! My eyebrows look GREAT and the lady that did them was soooo friendly & welcoming. We even shared a few laughs over talks of family and the weather. :) I would recommend this place & will definitely be back. ZERO STARS. soon as I walked in, there was one customer sitting down getting her nails done, and 3 employees sitting on their phones. They look at me and proceed to be on their phones. The manager then comes out and states they are "very busy" and asks me to come back later as the 3 employees loom at me for behind her. very unprofessional and didn't even try to schedule anything. simply turned me away. 0/10 please take your business elsewhere! read more

This was my first time going to lovely nails and I can already say that I'm in love with them! They came out just the way I wanted them to. I was here today with two young girls. The girls had their nails painted and "nail art" was applied on top of the polish. I had a french pedicure. I was very impressed with the attention to artistic detail, professionalism, and very nice equipment (massage chairs) at Lovely Nails. We were looking for a place close to my boyfriend's office and stumbled across this nail salon. I think I have found my nail salon I will come to every time I visit San Antonio. Came in for a pedicure and really disappointed. I usually go to a different shop but all appointments were full so wanted to give this place a shot. The water was luke warm at best the technician was nice but only did one foot at a time while the other was cold in the water plus the "hot" towels were ran under some kinda warm water from the sink. I have been coming here for the last 8 years and just in the last year, the service has declined. On my last appointment on July 30, one of the nail techs said a derogatory remark to me in front of other customers and made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. That's very hurtful, unkind, and unprofessional. I will never go back to this place ever again!!!!! read more

My review will mainly focus on pedicures. I have natural nails so cannot comment on the work they do on solar nails or the such. If I get my hands done it is usually shellac and it looks great.I have been coming here for over a decade. The ladies which work here are related. I believe siblings. All do a pretty great job. The prices are reasonable and you can get the big massage chair or just the little soaker tub. It is best to call ahead- you can usually get in within an hour or two of calling. If you drop in you may have a small wait. They will add nail art as well for a bit more- $1or $2. They also do eyebrows,facial waxing and facials. read more

I think they have very affordable prices and the workers are so nice. Tim did my nails & he was very sweet. He helped me pick out my color & shape. I'm very happy with the outcome, I'll definitely be back. The girl next to me getting her nails done seemed to be getting hyped up with the way her nails are looking. They're very nice too. This was my first time here. I had dip powder on which is obviously time consuming and sometimes uncomfortable to remove. HOWEVER I had the best and brief experience getting my color taken off and new color put on. Suzi was so kind and NEVER nicked my cuticles. She was so professional and warm at the same time. Been going here for two years... what a joke that people who work in places like these have the worst attitude for THEIR JOBS. Why be frustrated when it's your job. If you go here you know that there is only three workers and the owner/manager, one of the nail techs decided it was too hard to take off my nails that she had to give attitude and frustration as soon as I sat down yesterday. I felt ugly for thirty mins because of her. I will be going back just to complain because she should be embarrassed for being so frustrated with a job she chooses to have. Her desk is on the last row (the furthest to the right). She nearly hurt me because she was frustrated over cutting my nails... which was so hard apparently. Only because she didn't wanna work. Sorry not sorry that you were hungry or whatever but at least you tried to change your attitude. Only because I let you. If I said anything believe me your day would have been changed.
