I have been here three times for a pedicure. The place is clean for a nail salon. It can get a little stuffy in there but they have an oscillating fan. Plain pedicure is 35$ the going rate I guess. They have all the other options like Lavender, hot stones, hot wax, etc. lots of nail polish colors to choose from, I like to bring my own. Just incase a touch up is needed in a week or two. Staff is very friendly. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! I went for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and attentive form the moment I walked in. Anna did an amazing job with my pedicure and took her time and was patient with my ingrown toenails, I left with no pain and cute toes! I was here visiting family and looking for a local nail salon that could do design. I saw that Lavie Nails had good reviews and mentioned a nail stylist Michelle. I was hoping with them closing in two hours. I could set an appointment with her but decided to go and just work with whoever was available. Luckily, I got to have Michelle work on my nails, and the positive reviews that you're reading about her are true. She did an excellent job, taking her time, and giving her input to make sure my nails were done well. The salon was clean, and the staff was welcoming. I intend to make this place my go-to when I come into town. read more

Bc i said i didn't want it as thick as last time bc half of my mail was white. They will scam you and charge you for things NO other salon charges for and they are not even good. I have been coming to Lavie Nails for over two years now and I love this nail salon. My go-to is Anna and she is the sweetest thing! She always does an amazing job and shapes them exactly like I ask for. I have used almost everyone that works here. I 10/10 recommend Anna if you can request her! Came in the afternoon and was immediately greeted and helped. Clean facilities and stations. I got the mango pedicure and gel on my toes. My technician was gentle and thorough on the pedicure. No small talk , which I personally appreciate but some might not, big plus for me :). The massage chairs were nice as well. read more

I asked for round metallic red dip powder on my natural nails. They used black as the base color then used gel polish to create the red metallic. Not a problem, until you sand through the red in spots. The edges are all black, my nails look like I'm leaking tar. I'm a nurse and it makes my hands seem dirty. This is also not round, it's oval and that can't be corrected until my nails grow out. My anniversary is tomorrow and I'm stuck with dirty, lumpy nails. This was my 4th time using this location. They did offer to fix them, but I don't have another 2 hours and I'm concerned the nubs of nail they left will be sanded off and painful. read more

I only go here and have for several years!! I'm not the best at keeping up with fills and new sets and my heels are, well, don't get me started but everyone here welcomes me and treats me like a friend! Michelle is my go to for nails and I just say an idea and color scheme and she always comes through, I get toes to coordinate. My husband always asks for same lovely lady but he won't let me tell you her name because he doesn't want to share hahahaha. We always try to make appts but sometimes so in and if they can they will. Way Overpriced, Rude, and took them 3 hours for one set We were there as soon as they opened and went in when there were no customers. Despite that, the service was really slow, as it took 3 hours for our sets even though they were being done at the same time. I showed the guy that started my nails the flower design that I wanted and he said it could be done. They ended up not doing the design and when I asked for it again they got obviously upset with me even though it was their mistake. By the end of the visit I was overcharged and exhausted from waiting so long. The nails came out okay, but it would have been much more worth it to go elsewhere. read more

Absolutely amazing nail place! They had plenty of people working so as soon as I walked in I was immediately told to sit in a pedicure chair. They lady that did my feet took her time and did not rush my lavender pedicure. They have so many different pedicures to choose from with amazing scents. Another person asked if I would like a drink which they had water, soda, and wine to choose from. My pedicure was amazing and she was very patient with doing my feet. The place was very clean and decorated very nicely. Afterward I proceeded to sit in a nail chair and Rachel did a sparkly nude dipping powder on my nails. She explained the dipping powder since it was my first time and I absolutely love it!!! My nails look amazing. I think I just found my new nail home! I loved everything from the second I walked in. Okay, so I got my nails done 2 weeks ago by Rachel, I am just now writing a review because I wanted to see how my nails would hold up.... Oh my Gosh!!! I have never ever had a set of nails that actually lasted a full 2 weeks! On top of that, my nails are not even lifting yet! Rachel was super sweet and did an amazing job! She was so kind to fit me in her schedule! I can not tell you how happy I was with her technique! She did my nails exactly how I wanted them. The staff was okay. They really had no interest in talking to me but that's not a deal breaker for me. They did charge me $40 for a FILL! Their shellac didn't last even a week, which normally lasts me a month. I think they just use cheap products. Also the girl wouldn't let my nails stay in the light the full time so when I left the polish was still sticky. I won't ever be back! read more

I've come here probably half a dozen times or more and at first I liked it, but now I've completely changed my mind the past couple times I've gone. They are insanely expensive, they do not manage their time correctly resulting in a 3.5 hour appointment for a mani/pedi. The quality of their work is subpar, and they have a visage of being friendly but that quickly vanished the moment you mention something amiss about their work (aka, the nail polish dries with bubbles, they have made you wait for 1 hour after pedicure to get a manicure, missed cuticles, they didn't apply polish to the entire nail.) They will then commence to argue with you in front of the entire lobby and client base, resulting in an incredibly embarrassing experience. I will never go here again. I recommend finding another nail salon, there's dozens in the area. read more

I wish I could give 10 STARS!!! I have been looking for a good nail salon for a year now! This place is AMAZING! I went in for a pedicure and a shellac manicure. They told me they have the dippin manicure, which I have been wanting to get, so I said great, I'll get that. Everything is really clean, Rachel did a phenomenal job with my mani and pedi. The pedi package is just loaded with different ways to pamper ur feet and toes, and a paraffin wax, skin mask for ur legs and hot towel and a massage! It felt amazing.. Rachel didn't rush the Pedi, but was very efficient! I wanted to the chrome for my mani, she helped me pick a color and recommended the rose gold which I loved!!! All while I enjoyed a glass of wine . The price was sooo great too for all the services that I got..obviously, I will be back on a regular basis.. read more

Such a great experience. My first visit and I came for a pedi leaving with dip and pedi. Michelle did an amazing job with my dip. Kim did my pedi and did a great job as well. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment and was helped by the manager Michelle right away. She was very knowledgeable and helpful when I was describing the type of manicure I was looking for. She explained how dipped nails worked and was excited to try them for the first time! The salon is clean, and plays the current top 40's music and had HGTV muted on the TV... which of course I was glued to! Okay so I'm posting an updated review because I truly love this place and can not fathom that people would go anywhere else in SA. I've been coming pretty consistently since May 2018 and truly enjoy my experience and nail service every time. I'd like to start by saying that a lot of the negative reviews I've seen on Yelp don't really speak on the actual quality of nails that you receive at Lavie Nails. People..... when you go to a nail salon - BE PREPARED SO SPEND 2-3 hours there depending on what you get - ESPECIALLY IF YOU COME ON THE WEEKEND! It surprises me how this is so astonishing to some people. Like no boo, do not come on your lunch break and think that they can get you in and out in one hour with a pedicure and a full set, etc. It does not work like that. So for anyone reading through reviews and wondering if they should give this place a try - trust me you need to come here but you also need to be a responsible adult and plan for it. Okay rant over. Let me go ahead and tell you about how I've tried SO MANY nail salons in SA and truly believe all the ones I've tried so far provide subpar nail services. What do I mean by that you ask? That means my nails lift and my nails come out lumpy and thick and it's just off putting when I spend over $50 at a salon and come out more ashamed of my nails than I was prior to going. UNTIL I discovered Lavie Nails. GUUUURL! When I tell you RACHEL is the BEST and whatever magic she does is straight from the nail goddess herself - IAMNOTLYING!!! I usually come only once a month and my nails will last me until I come again. No lift, no discoloration, no breaks, they're just perfect. I refuse to let anyone else do my nails. So please trust me on this ladies. If you wanna take care of yourself and take care of your nails - COME SEE RACHEL! I feel so strongly about this haha. I usually do the dip nails and they offer the regular dip which starts at $45 and they also offer glow in the dark and ombré dip starting at $60. I usually will do the basic pedicure which starts at $28. They do have a very nice selection of deluxe pedicures as well but when I come my main splurge is gonna be my fingernails. I can't speak on any other services at this time because I have not tried them but I am thinking about the eyelash service they provide because Rachel's eyelashes seem to always be on fleek I will provide and updated review if I do. So yes, BEST NAIL SALON IN SA AND ASK FOR RACHEL! Also I know a big concern for anyone who goes to a Vietnamese salon who isn't actually Vietnamese is if the nail technicians are talking crap about you in their own language. I am Vietnamese and I speak Vietnamese and I am happy to report that I haven't heard any of the technicians say anything bad about their customers. Actually usually all I hear is them telling each other how sweet and patient a customer is or they're just talking about their personal lives. And no I am not related to anyone who works there and for the longest I did not actually let any of them know I speak Vietnamese. This is just an honest review of a small business I want everyone to know about and I myself truly endorse. read more

My manicure was cheaply done and the shellac was horrible. I hate the nail shape and the coating. The nail bed is bumpy and you can still see the cuticle that needs to be removed. I asked the lady to fix a nail and all she did was remove more shellac. Im extremely upset as these are nails for my wedding! The pedicure was better, but the lady scrubbed my soles for 5 seconds, if any. I will not come back or recommend. read more

Yikes. This might have been one of the worst experiences I've had. The staff just seemed careless. When they were using the "cheese grater" on my feet the grating extended over the ends of my toes and was scraping my nails. This can't be good. Then during my pedicure she cut my cuticles on two of my nails and they started bleeding. This has happened to me since I stopped pulling my hang nails ten years ago. Just not a good experience. read more

I didn't even notice until I got to work and realized the area was raw, burning, and extremely painful. This should never happen during a professional waxing service. It's a sign of improper technique, poor training, or negligence. Instead of leaving with clean brows, I left with what is essentially a burn injury on one of the most sensitive parts of the face. I now have to treat the area carefully, spend money on healing products, and hope it doesn't scar. The way this was handled was completely unacceptable. Please be cautious booking here -- a basic service should not result in an injury like this.

Nancy did my nails and she did a fabulous job. Even though this is dipping powder, my nails look natural and feel great. Note: I had broken a couple of nails before coming in and opted to not add tips to make them even length with the others, so that's why a couple may look a little shorter in length - that was my doing and preference to not add a tip.
