My pedi was fine but the application of the shellac was not done well. The polish was uneven and even appears as though black was placed underneath the pink which was not the case. I would not recommend this nail salon. The last time I came in my gel polish on my toes and hands all bubbled. I decided to give them another chance hoping it wouldn't happen again. The person doing my nails was so careless and fast. She rushed through my hands and by the time she got to my pedicure she would not listen. I asked her not to cut them and she argued as she cut them. Than cut me as she was being so persistent. I stopped her and politely said I have changed my mind and no longer want a pedicure. They nickel and dime you. $5 to remove existing dip, $5 for shape, $50 for dip, add on $25 for shellac because they wanted to paint the French on instead of dip and then $50 add on for design! $135 is absolutely ridiculous! I went in there after work and I don't know if it's because I didn't dress the part or I don't look like they're typical clientele but the man that did my service seemed like he was in a rush. He didn't use the correct tools to get my calluses off of my toes they're still there. Not once was I offered anything to drink. The service was very rushed. My nail technician was sweet so I ended up giving her $6 tip but I am so disappointed with the work she did on my nails. Go ANYWHERE else! I've come to this salon off and on since they opened. I've had about 5 amazing experiences (which hooked me), about 20 less than okay, and about 10 terrible ones. Today was a terrible one. While having my pedi done, I showed the tech a picture of the Ombré I'd like on my mani. She had to call someone over because she was not familiar with ombre. It was a simple pink and white ombré . No problem. I would much rather she admit she didn't know how to do it rather than convince me to get some thing else or fumble her way through it. However, after my Pedi, I sat for a good 15 minutes waiting for some type of communication from anyone at all. The Pedi tech didn't even say she was done. This is unusual for this salon because one of the reasons I keep coming back to this terrible service is because they are fast. Finally, a male tech Came up and motioned for me to follow him. I grabbed my purse and drink and shoes because he seemed like he was in a great hurry. Unfortunately, he was the one doing my mani. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I felt punished the entire time while having my Mani. He was rude and rough beyond belief (He broke skin while filing with an Emory board! I still see blue on one nail from the previous mani). I almost told him to just stop so I could leave. I wish I could have done that but I don't have time to go anywhere else today to start over. I have been to this nail salon a number of times for a full coffin set, always satisfied, but today when I went in to get a basic mani and pedi I was charged $125! The lady who did my nails did not understand ANY English, told her I want to change the color and do not cut or file my nails and she proceeded and filed my toe nails to my skin! She also painted my toe nails and then washed my feet and used the grater/ pumice stone after she was finished. I kept asking her to stop and questioning her routine, she replied by laughing. My girlfriends nails broke in 3 days and she never banged them, they didn't get caught on any clothing and they just ended up missing, broken without her noticing. The lady was impatient and didn't even remove the the broken nail, all they did was file It down and place the other nail on top of the broken one.
