I was introduced to this Nail salon by my Friend Michelle who lives in Boerne, Texas and is a regular customer. I booked an Appointment for a Classic Spa Pedicure since it was long overdue and I needed to treat myself. From the moment when I walked in I was greeted by the Receptionist at the front and I had a few minutes to choose my nail color before I was taken to the back to get seated in a Spa chair. The salon is kept very clean and the staff there is so nice and accommodating! I was offered a drink so I chose champagne and I felt totally relaxed the entire time. This is my 3rd time coming here and my 1st time here for a design. They usually do pretty good if you just want a solid color nail. It also depends on the person who does your nails. Today I went and they took almost 2 hours just to do a fill. The guy doing my nails also did not know how to do the design I wanted and had someone else help him. I think it still turned out pretty sloppy compared to what I'm used to. I was so tired of sitting there I didn't expect it to take so long I didn't tell him to fix anything. Great experience! Technicians are super fast and precise. The salon is very clean, well organized, and decently accurate to customers design requests. The salon has a wide variety of polish, and paints. Workers are super friendly and hardworking, and there is hardly ever people just lounging around, or being lazy, due to the lack of technicians. Vivían is my nail technician. I have been coming here for about 3 months now and she never disappoints. She makes sure all your expectations are met and that's highly appreciated. On Wednesday I had my graying eyebrows tinted and shaped and had facial waxing and I am so please with the results. I've never been one to do too much to my face but it makes me feel so good. Today I went back for the classic facial and Microdermabrasion and again was not disappointed. It was so relaxing and it made my skin so soft and bright. Highly recommend their services, Vivian did my facials and eyebrows but I've had dip nails and pedicures done with different technicians and they are all great. Can't go wrong with them. This review is more for Vivian who was my nail tech and while she is experienced and good at what she does she lacked the skill to listen to what I needed. I told her multiple times to correct the lifting I had with my acrylics and she didn't. So I came in to have them fix after they broke a few days later. Second visit with her I told her I type a lot and if she could be more attentive to the edges of the nail she again chose not to. Came back two days later to have chips fixed. She was upset and I quote "I've never have but two people ever have to return. This is a waste of your time and my time and I won't keep doing this. I will do acrylics on you one more time and if this happens again I won't do it anymore. You will do dip" I explained that dip isn't a option for me for a few reasons one it's to thick and two it's lifts more than acrylics and No I will not do dip. I recently moved to the area and have had my nails done religiously every three weeks. Since Vivian clearly is upset by the work she did and handled the situation poorly by telling me she will no longer do my nails since she can't do her job correctly I chose to sadly never return again. I really did like this salon but this nail tech and her years of experience is blinding her by not listening to a customer's specific need. I don't feel it was a lot to ask for attention to the edges like I have at my previous salon without issue. Aside from her the rest of the staff and manager are super friendly and attentive. My first visit was amazing, there was a gentleman and he did a fantastic job!!! I wished he was there this time. The woman that greeted me was on her phone and finally had to hang up. She then proceeded to assist me. She began my nails and then stopped to text on her phone:(. After I get home to inspect my nails she didn't completely make sure that there was no gaps between my real nail and the acrylic one. I live too far to go back so I had to place nail glue in several of the cracks underneath. On top the nails do not look too bad but underneath not too good. She didn't inspect her work. I guess it's my fault for not double checking too , I was there for close to a hour and wanted to get home. Mind you it's about thirty minutes to 45 minutes away. Next time I will just wait until I get back to Kerrville to get my nails done :( read more
