What a wonderful small nail shop in the middle of all the loud, crowded and nail factories around the area. I called in the morning and I had an appointment 2 hours later.The shop is clean and is really restful. I highly recommend Q.T. Nails. Give it another chance it you have tried it before. I walked in on a Saturday morning without an appointment. The sign on the door says that wall-ins are welcome. There were two staff members working, each had a client. I asked if it was possible to have a pedicure, and stated that I did not mind waiting. The man said "We're busy". I asked if I could make an appointment for later that day, and again, all he said was "We're busy." I asked if I could make an appointment for the following week, to which he replied, "Come back later". I will not come back later, as they seem to be too busy, even though I see they have a 3 out of 5 star rating. read more

I love how they allowed me to schedule an appointment after hours since they didn't have availability during the day. They were really nice, but my pedicure came out poorly. I got gel on my toes, and it's already coming off a day later. Normally I don't treat myself to things like this, but I was having back pain and couldn't do it myself. PLEASE JUST STOP DOING WHAT "YOU " CALL NAILS!!!! Cuz you are making my cuticles bleed and forcefully grabbing my hands and then you want me to relax??? "Wait what??!!" Yep! Nuts, right?? It's so Britney it's unbelievable! No gratitude for the business they are getting at this point! I liked how my nails looked and stayed on but the treatment I endured a few times just isn't worth the dollars! I'm not going where I'm not valued! So the takeaways are: Horrible Customer service, unclean As heck! Left with cuts, yes more than a few on nails n hands, and they made it clear that they just didn't give a puck!! I came here to try a new place since it's closer to my house. I went inside and there was such an overwhelming smell of chemicals. I know nails salons all smell this way be of the nature of the job, but here, it was so strong my eyes stung! No one greeted me. So I was about to leave and then someone at the chair asked what service I wanted. I asked how the wait would be and he said 2 minutes. After 10 mins of sitting and waiting and breathing in the fumes, almost in tears at this point bc the strong fumes, I left. I think it would be helpful if this place invests in sole air filtration/ purification system! I won't be coming back here. read more

Horrible! I watched as they used the same bowl- without washing it- for different customers! It was so gross. Then, I watched as she picked up this tool from the floor and put it back to use- without washing it. The manicure was quite bad. She didn't even put a top coat on for $25. I was greeted as soon as I walked in then sat down for my pedicure. Nana provided such great service. She brought me a Diet Coke and went to work. I came in for a pedicure this morning and overall it was great. I would totally recommend this place. I brought my 17 year old daughter in for a manicure for her sr pictures a few weeks ago and she loved her nails, so I decided to try it out for myself and I'm glad I did! I got the Thai pedicure and had a quality 50 minute pedicure and leg message (with heated stones)for $45. The tools were sanitized, the message chair was good and the staff was super polite and skilled. I wish I would've come in sooner, but will return for sure! read more

So far, the very FIRST place in San Antonio that wasn't $$$$ that actually knew and successfully performed a French pedicure!!!! Calm, quiet place right next to Conroy's Pub. Pedicures are a necessity for me, so a poorly performed French is a deflating and discouraging experience. She was sensitive to my ticklish feet, offered me water, and didn't try to make annoying small talk. They were completely fine with me eating my take out order from Conroy's while she worked on me. She wasn't pushy nor did she try to "up-sale" me on other things. I will be back! Relaxing and laid back, non-snooty atmosphere. read more

I went to this nail salon because it's right next to my office, and since I usually can't make it back into the city in time before salons close, I gave this place a shot during my lunch break. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of work that they did on my nails! Even though I just got a basic mani/pedi, my massage was good and my polish turned out great. The basic mani/pedi combo is a cool $42. Not as good as the $25 you can pay in Houston, but the price is about par for San Antonio. My only complaint was that I said several times I needed to be back to work in an hour, and instead of having someone do my nails while I was getting my pedicure, I sat there staring at my watch while 3 techs watched TV on their laptops. Eh, QT nails is OK. The only reason I really chose QT nails was because of its proximity to my gym (it's next to Anytime Fitness) and the fact that I really wanted a pedicure. I called ahead to schedule and spoke to a heavily accented Asian man, which made it difficult to ascertain as to whether or not we had the same time in mind or not. Regardless, I showed up for my appointment as scheduled and was greeted with a heavily accented Asian man and woman whom I could not for the life of me understand. Seriously?! I'll go elsewhere just so I can understand plain English. A woman receiving a manicure had to translate for me. So I grabbed a bottle of color and plopped down in the massage chair pointed out to me. The Asian man that was my pedicurist didn't exactly speak to me since it became clear that I did not understand him worth a darn, and instead gestured. He did use clean, sanitized tools, which I am grateful for and was kind in the procedure of the pedicure, but the massage part (which is my favorite) was lacking and nearly non-existent. Funny enough, after all the soaking, salt scrubbing, and beginning pedicure procedural stuff, he then handed me a menu asking me what I wanted. Uh, you've already touched on the main stuff, so I guess the cheapest option: basic pedicure, thanks. He seemed disappointed, but then again it felt like he asked me after he hit all the good stuff. The end result of my pedicure was as expected: nails painted well and pretty but then he led me to a nail drying station where it felt like I got abandoned. Eventually I just got bored and insisted on leaving, even though my polish may not have dried sufficiently. Gotta say, I'm not a fan of the light dryer things, and I would have much preferred to just sit in the massage chair reading magazines. When I finally got up to leave, it seemed like a surprise to my pedicurist who then rang me up to leave. And leave I did, with no intention of trying QT nails again. Eh, whatever. read more

This is a no star rating David(who I assume who is the owner), did a horrible job on my nails, he's too controlling and rude- he seems to be the only one allowed to do nails??? I came in for a fill he put a large amount of acrylic on my nails, they were bumpy, too thick, he didn't file them enough to ensure they were smooth, the nail polish was put on in a sloppy way, I asked for shellac, the polish was see through and felt sticky??? I heard they do good pedicures, because the women in his shop does them. Just because its in the Fair Oaks Ranch area doesn't mean they do quality work.- They work hard to get you in the chair, and unless its a costly visit, you're on your own----I would NOT recommend this place read more

the worst experience and manicure ever. if you want to walk way with sahara dry hands and nails that look like your five year old did them go here! the place looked like it was run by a bunch of fifteen year old girls who were giggling, talking and messing with their phones and ipad's the whole time.they charge $15 for a minimal basic manicure. Never will I or my daughters use this salon . I just moved to Fair Oaks and have been here less than one month. Because of the language difference I experienced as soon as I walked in, I asked to look at the pricing and selected the $30 pedicure. I even pointed to it on their physical prcing flyer. I selected my nail color and was promptly told I could not have the one I wanted as it was not part of the $30 pedicure. I even asked why. Once again the language difference and I just went with what they told me. My pedicure was very done very nicely and I thought wow this is nice and it will be worth $30 since in Houston I usually paid much less. Well I got to check out and was charged $60. I asked why and was told that was the service I got. I reminded him he knew I wanted the $30 service because of the polish. Once again the language difference (all of sudden the limited English was even less). I just stood there while all of sudden all the workers were speaking Vietnamese very loudly and he started speaking back to them. I could not tell what was going on. I just signed the charge slip, No tip of course.. I know I should not have but I was feeling bullied and intimidated. I am a 47 year old woman. I wonder what Rip off they pose on others.
