I had high hopes for this nail salon. The photo of the pedicure bowl and single chair, is not this solan. The solan has a typical vibe and no special features. I moved to the area recently and was in need of a pedicure and a manicure. I took my sister-in-law with me. We each got a manicure classic. I got a pedicure classic. The cost after tip was $120 total. My sister-in-law was cut & bled during the service. She did not have a positive experience overall and this we her second negative experience at this solan. For my manicure, the colored polish was painted too thick before the tech applied the clear-coat, which caused the paint to wrinkle hours after the nail appointment. I will not be going back for a full service. Maybe only shellac removal because the price is reasonable and that service for removal was honestly the best part of our visit. read more

As a newbie into Fredericksburg, I have tried about 5 places and they were pretty much all alike except one that took almost 2 hours for a fill. Prices seemed to have also expanded. So my 6th try at A2 Nails, opened about a month, I was hopeful for the type of nail care I had become accustomed to in the larger cities. I was treated very well, very clean and well kept, everything new & nicely coordinated with soft soothing colors in the furniture and décor. Enjoyable music in the background. The owner took precision and excellent care of my nails and truly wanted to ensure I was satisfied with her work. She is very conscientious and eager to satisfy. I'll be back for a pedicure and a refill in about a month. They are very newly opened and need a chance to know what their customers really want. Came in Saturday to get a pedicure with my daughter. The nail guy clipped my big toe wrong and by that night my toe was in pain and by the next morning I had pus in the nail bed. On top of that my shellac is already chipping. Not happy at all and I live around the corner. I won't be back and now have to get rid of this infection. read more

I scheduled a dip powder manicure and a gel polish pedicure on Wednesday 4-16-25. This was the first (& last) time I had been to this salon. To begin with not 1 person spoke English in this business. I basically announced I was there for a dip manicure & gel pedi. One of the first nail techs pointed to a pedicure chair after yelling out something to a person in the back. She didn't tell me her name and never spoke to me the entire time I was there. No hello or thank you or good bye. She did a passing job on my pedicure. The problem was with the man who walked over and grabbed my hand and started filing my finger nails. Ok.....I guess you are doing my manicure? He also neglected to introduce himself and didn't speak to me the whole time. I told him I wanted a dip powder French manicure. He nodded at me still not speaking. This guy kept nicking my cuticle area with his dremel over & over and it seemed like he was rushing because at several points he dropped things. He even dropped the open dip powder all over the floor and one of the clear polish bottles. I had to stretch my hands out to him across my body so he could reach my hands which was uncomfortable. I couldn't see my hands because they were stretched across sideways so far. By the time he started to dip my nails I was HORRIFIED at the way he had filed my nails. They were RUINED! ABSOLUTELY RUINED!!!! He had filed my nails so far in on the sides that they were almost nonexistent. They reminded me of a tooth that has been drilled down to a little nub before the dentist puts a crown on a bad tooth. I almost started to cry. This mani-pedi was a treat I booked pre-vacation to Hawaii for my anniversary with my husband. But instead of looking extra nice I was going to be hiding my hands the entire trip! The powder he put on me was SO THICK MY NAILS LOOK LIKE LITTLE MISHAPED BLOBS!!! I decided that my only option was to try not to cry and just get out of there. If it was just a bad dip job I could ask him to remove it but because of the mess he made filing my nails down NOTHING could fix this awful situation. I never got so much as a thank you when he checked me out to pay up front for my "services". I did not leave a tip but if there was any way I could have gotten out of paying for what he did to my nails that still wouldn't make up for the disappointment I feel about the results of my trip to A2 Nails. I wouldn't go there again if you paid me a million dollars. So buyer beware! Don't go to A2 nails! read more

This was my second time coming here for a pedicure. My first time was such a great experience I brought my cousin back with me. We didn't realize it at the time but we were their last customers before closing but not once did we feel rushed. They took their time and gave quality pedicures. The massages were wonderful and the employees are so nice! Highly recommend for pedicures (have not had my nails done here so I can't speak for that). read more

Tile is white, clean enough but now skeptical to try others in area if this was consider very clean. While there read some reviews, I agreed with some not so good. Arrived at appointment time, once sat for pedi waited 30minutes, then not so much time spent for regular pedi, she rushed, was good but not great on actual pedi. They didn't acknowledge I had also a mani, not sure if it's a language barrier, but I said to myself "just go it's a sign to not get a mani rushed or not done well". I had found one clean and good in Fair Oaks (although with mixed reviews the couple there was attentive, nice & did a good job) so I guess the longer drive is better :( read more

Horrible. ABSOLUTLY horrible, I was in there for Over 2 hours and the women doing them was very disrespectful and spent almost all The time just filing. I got a simple set of long plain white acrylics and spent over 2 hours There. And ontop of that I got burns on my fingers and the next day the nail snapped in half ripping off my entire real nail. When I first started going they were really good, they actually gave a hand massage with hand lotion now it's hit and miss. The last 4 visits I was charged 3 different prices for the exact same service. They charged me extra the last time he said because it took longer, but he got up and took care of the baby.
