No salon has ever asked me that. I don't like double teaming because I can't fully relax. Too much going on. Now I know why they wanted to do that--- this place is UNBEARABLY SLOW. Just the manicure took OVER 2 HOURs! When I arrived, the pedicure person wasn't ready for me, she was still working on the previous client so I had the manicure done. I canceled the pedicure. If I had done the pedicure I would have been there for at least 4 hours instead of the usual 1.5 to 2 hrs max. Not good for the client or the business--which thrives on throughput. The place was empty. The manicure itself was terrible. Warning #2: Before starting my manicure, she said "let me know if I hurt you". WTF? She did not use acetone or apply anything to my nails to soften the gel and make it easier to remove my polish. She did way too much sanding and it hurt to get my polish off. Could have been because I didn't sit under long enough. However, the concept of steam is nice and definitely caught the attention of other customers (IG worthy). For my manicure, I got almond shaped, cat's eye. They looked so good. Included with my manicure was: hot towel, massage, paraffin wax, scrub, and lotion. My favorite part is the nail bar is CLEAN. There is someone wiping chairs, counters, tools, and floors.
