They're under new ownership as of 2025 so disregard previous reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by their service at this nail salon. Many nail salons now are rushing through their clients and try to nickel and dime you. This place isn't like that. Welcoming and friendly staff! Both Vin and Vincent did a wonderful job on my nails. My sister took me here for a pedicure. I have only had a pedicure a few times in my life so I was really looking forward to the experience. Usually when I've gone in the past it's been a relaxing experience. Not here. There wasn't really time to relax. Even though we were the only two people in the nail salon we were rushed. My pedicure was done in about 20 minutes. I chose to get gel polish which dries faster with a special light system. When the nail technician was finished he didn't say anything. He just got up and walked away. After a moment of sitting there staring at my nails I noticed that the polish was not even. There was two coats of polish used and it looked like a 10 year old had painted my toenails. I mentioned it to the technician that was still working on my sister's nails and she got a different person to come over and put another coat of polish on. My sisters toes turned out fine. While we were getting our toes done another client came in and had to get her toes and two of her fingers redone from a bad job the day prior. This was not an inexpensive trip to the salon. Sissy's pedicure was $30 and mine with gel polish was $45 plus tip. I wish them well as I'd like to see all small businesses fluorish but I don't know about this place. read more

I came in and asked how much an acrylic full set would be and was told $26. I picked the acrylic powder I wanted (cream color with sparkles) and white tips. When the man started actually applying the acrylic, it was a purple color, nothing like the sample nail on top of the lid. I told him that's not what I wanted and asked if I could pick a different acrylic. He assured me the color would lighten to what I picked. Long story short, the color didn't lighten and my nails are purple and not work appropriate. As I was about to pay, he said it would be $40 when I was told $26 when I came in and I did not ask for or receive anything extra to make the nails worth $40. Just went for a pedicure with my 5yo daughter. The prices are great. They charge $15 for her and $25 for me. The space is small and clean. They have a Keurig for your use. They didnt offer us any drinks or water like other places do but that's fine because I usually bring my own. Eric did our pedicures and he did a good job. The pedicure is very basic. I don't know if they offer the spa like pedicures some places have for an extra fee. But for $25 I'm very happy. The only downside is that there was only 2 people working on a Sunday and 4-5 people in the salon so my daughter and I had to take turns. It's not a big deal but I wasn't prepared for that so my daughter got bored toward the end of mine. Next time I'll bring her ipad. I will definitely come back. It's clean, well priced, and close to home. read more

Name should be mediocre nails, not VIP. There was nothing VIP about the salon or the service. This was my first time coming to this salon & will be the last. The salon was semi clean but lots of nail dust mixed with other dust on shelves & stations. When the man came to do my nails he had just come out of room with a tissue & it was apparent he wasn't feeling good as his nose was as red as a tomato. Yes @ that moment I should have just said screw it & left but I had already come from one shop with a bad experience (literally 5 min earlier) so I was giving them a chance. He covered his face with a mask & wasn't coughing so I felt ok enough to stay & receive the service. I got a full set of acrylic nails which cost me $40 & I was cut twice, cuticles weren't trimmed, still have sharp edges & there wasn't a hand massage like most places. All total the service lasted about 35 min from me sitting down to paying. I was the only person in there & now I can understand why. read more

The place is very clean and cute on the inside as well as the outside. It's kind of small, but the staff is nice and courteous!! I went for a fill in with shellac and Jimmy did my nails. He did a wonderful job. I was there for all of 30-45 mins just like I like it, in and it with time to spare but the work speaks for itself it wasn't a rush job at all it looks very nice! I took my mom here for her birthday, and we had the worst experience. Either the technician was new or not thoroughly trained. The lady who took care of my mom that day kept messing up on a simple gel manicure. The guy who took care of me that day kept going over to the woman and would show her how to do it and proceeded to then use my mom as a test. They were both in a huge rush although there was no one else there. I explained that I was not pleased with the service and pointed out all the flaws including: bubbling in the gel, bad painting job, and smudges to name a few. He stated we could come back and she would fix it... No thank you. After a first impression as such we will NEVER be going back to this salon ever again. Worst service and customer service ever. Spare yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to go... Not to mention while we were being serviced, the other technician forgot to check on her client and let the water overflow while the client was relaxing, there was water flooding the floor, then she had to take time away from the other client whom was getting her nails done so she could soak up all the water and mop the salon! If I didn't have to give them a star I would not!! By far the worst white tip full set I've ever gotten, and I've had a few bad ones! I had to have them take one of the tips off before they even put the acrylic on, because it was so crooked! Then I asked for just a thin pink line between my nail and the white tip.... after what he called "fixing" it I had him take it off because it looked atrocious! So now to just the clear coat, he wiped my fingers with a paper towel and alcohol, which left behind dust particles on the nail, and tried to explain to me it was my nail that had white spots in it.... Funny I didn't have any going in or on any other full set I've had before. AAANNNNDDDD to top it all of, not two of the same nails are the same length, every single one of my fingers is a different length, and the shape of them are way off as well! Needless to say I DO NOT recommend them what so ever, well at least the older gentleman, I suppose I cannot bash the entire business, but I certainly do not recommend him. read more

My husband and I have been going to VIP Nails for five years. Over this time, the staff and the service have been consistently excellent. My husband, who has some foot and nail problems, thinks Tina does an outstanding job with his pedicure--extremely thorough and gentle, resulting in healthier feet. He's tried others but thinks none compare to Tina. I've tried both gels and regular polish and both have been applied beautifully and have lasted a long time. I've also been very satisfied with their waxing services. We usually make appointments in advance because the salon is so busy that they can't always take walk-ins, many of them regular customers. read more

I decided to try this place because it is around the corner from my house so I gave it a try for a pedicure. First impression of this salon is that it was pretty clean. I'm pretty big on cleanliness of nail salons and the utensils were clean as well. The water was just the right temperature. They didn't offer a water or anything which is fine I just needed my toes done so I could be ready for the weekend. The tech I had did a good job on the cuticles, the scrubbing, and massaging of the legs and feet with lotion. So far so good. When it came time to paint my toes the tech's hands were a little shakey. The polish job was not even throughout the toes and after leaving and giving it a couple of hours I could see the little bubbles that pop up when they don't have enough time to dry in between coats. The biggest thing I DID NOT like was that I could visibly see where the finishing clear top coat ended on my toes which is not suppose to happen.Each toe has lines where the top coat went which makes the toe look botched! Given that It has been a couple of hours since I left. I probably would not go back to this place based off of the pedicure I just got. read more
