Extremely impressed with this all-in-one cafe. We arrived late Friday night with empty stomachs from our long drive to Oneonta. Went for a stroll down main street after checking into our hotel and stumbled along this 'lounge'. Hoping for a late night meal, yet expecting only to be awarded a slice of pizza or snack, we were greeted by the owner who seems to be the hardest worker in the store. He explained the menu and astonished us by offering the full menu after 11:00 pm which consists of breakfast items like bagels, egg sandwiches, pancakes; lunch/dinner items like sandwiches, burgers; and plenty of dessert and chocolate options. We elected for late night sandwiches, hummus w/ sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers on flaxseed bread (delicious), and my friend went with the generic bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Couldn't resist returning the next 2 mornings for breakfast and even lunch. The owner welcomed us each time. I don't think the man sleeps! Accepts dragon dollars for college students! read more

If you're a coffee lover you can definitely appreciate a place just like latte lounge. The menu has very options and varieties for breakfast. This little spot in the middle of their main street is simply a gem!!!!! The coffee was amazing. And I cannot believe I'm about to say this but there a large is almost too large for me. They absolutely beat Starbucks. There are large is more like a Venti plus in my opinion. The coffee will not disappoint no bad aftertaste after every sip of their fine mastered brew. I truly appreciate that they offer different pastries, or even a breakfast menu for those who want coffee and breakfast in one spot. Now if I was a local, I know that this would be my every day spot. You have to come try their coffee and looks like their breakfast menu is also very popular. Every time I came in it was jam packed. Latte lounge offers outstanding food and welcoming service in a hip spot on Main Street. Eggs with tons of veggies scrambled in were best I've ever had and my buddy's pancakes were superb. Prices are 100 percent reasonable and the attached book store is a nice distraction. There's only good folks here - no one trying to change your world view like the deli down the street. Definitely will choose Latte Lounge every time. Come on Saturday's and enjoy the farmers market just a few doors down. read more

This spot is most definitely quick favorite. Not just because of the price. But because of great customer service as well. It's a traditional style deli located in the downtown area of Oneonta,New York on Main Street. Great for breakfast and lunch for a very affordable price. I ended up ordering the 2 eggs, French toast, 2 pieces of bacon and a sausage. All that for only $8.00 bucks!? What a steal! Hannah was our cashier and she was awesome! Very great customer service! It's important to have people like that working in your establishment because it makes customers feel comfortable and important like myself. Also kudos to the chef Alex! Who didn't just cook the food but he also showed great showmanship with how he placed my meal on my plate. Just goes to show you that presentation is important. Just as important as the first impression! Way to go guys! I'll be sure to recommend this place to all my family and friends! Keep it up! I'll most definitely be back! read more

I am continually disgusted with the behavior of the staff here and this is the first time I've asked for a refund and walked out!! I called because we had a two hour drive to a destination and wanted to ensure my order was done in time. Someone answered the phone saying can I hold and leaving the phone on hold for more than 15 minutes when I drove up and hung up expecting it to be packed.... That couldn't be further from the truth! I saw a bunch of employees running their mouths and the cashier said, "oh we get busy". I've seen this place packed with a line out the door with 5 employees which is what they had at the time I entered and everyone was working not socializing. We ordered something simple and quick 2 bagels cream cheese and lox. They ran out of wax paper (still talking about their weekend) taking their time and they finally hand me my order as I grab it and run because we have a long way to go and the guy stops me they did my order wrong they put capers! I said, I didn't have time for this when he said he's had the ticket about 6 minutes I replied I was put on hold for 15 minutes and I have to go and if they would've answered the phone then it wouldn't have been a issue. The short blond with the navy logo on it said, "oh that was probably me if we get busy I do that so the phone doesn't ring." I replied "there's no one here so you put the phone on hold so you socialize?" It will be a really long time before I ever go back that's ridiculous and they should be ashamed of themselves and their behavior. read more

As soon as one walks through the door one will notice the welcoming New York Loft style atmosphere, the exposed duct work and brick walls are accompanied by one of the greatest smells I have ever experienced, freshly ground coffee beans. Aside from a welcoming staff and atmosphere, the owners are genuinely sincere and customer oriented. You get to watch as the enthusiastic staff prepare your coffee and watch the grill masters prepare all of the food you've ordered. An amazing experience overall. read more

Latte Lounge was so great for me! I ordered an egg, meat (sausage) and cheese biscuit and was happy from first to last bite. My husband got eggs, bacon, home fries and an everything bagel. Everything was wonderful. We had gotten coffee from another vendor, trying to sample lol local vendors. But I was sad we didn't hold it for this place. The first thing I said to my boyfriend when I got off the bus in Oneonta? "Coffee. Now." He led me up Main Street to Latte Lounge, where I got a 32 oz. iced coffee, and the ability to function like a human being. Latte Lounge is a nice little shop. The furniture is cute, the service was fairly quick, and every time I went in - at least once a day the entire week I was in Oneonta - it was busy. The coffee was pretty good, but the espresso drinks weren't fantastic, and they seemed really expensive. And $4.25 for an iced chai? Insane! I can get an entire box of Oregon Chai concentrate for that price at the Price Chopper! The gelato was really yummy. When I went in at 10 AM, they were already out of almost all types of bagels, which was really disappointing, but a plain bagel with veggie cream cheese was good enough. The veggie cream cheese was awesome. Make sure you get one of their coffee cards: they punch a hole every time you order a coffee, after you buy five, the sixth is free. Also, they have a $5 minimum on credit cards. read more

The food is resemblant of Panera except better and cheaper. For example a soup and half a sandwich is only 7.50 compared to whatever it is at panera, besides that there's a huge selection of coffee and the desserts are amazing! I love the cheesecake. There's no need to go to yellow deli or to panera anymore! Latte lounge has it all! Not to mention the green toad bookstore which is awesome is connected to the latte lounge. As a Hartwick college alum, I'd like to thank Latte Lounge for getting me through four very difficult years, and for remaining amazing for my yearly visit to Oneonta. You can get an amazing coffee the size of your head for such little money. Their food is amazing. The atmosphere is lovely, even when it's bonkers-busy in there. I love the mismatched seating. I especially love the fact that it's attached to one of my favorite bookstores in the world. The staff is sweet, the lines always go fast, they have bagel chips that are to die for. The smoothies are seasonal, I believe, but they are amazing. I miss Latte Lounge all the time, and look forward to going every time I'm in Oneonta. read more

Everyone in Oneonta is grateful for the Latte Lounge, because there is no other coffee shop you'd want to go to. The food is decent; they have pretty good sandwiches. Unfortunately, if you actually want a latte at the Latte Lounge, it will be really mediocre-if you want good coffee in the region you have to go to HiLo in Catskill, Moto in Hudson, or 3Fish and Stacks in Albany. Maybe the owner could go to HiLo and see what he is (we are) missing! read more

I LOVE the Latte Lounge. My roomate and I went often, usually two or three times a week during midterms and finals. Recently renovated, the Latte Lounge has friendly and quick service, and the owner is often behind the counter chatting with customers. My favorite thing to drink is a vanilla latte with skim, but they have tons of drinks - pretty much anything you want! Their iced chai is also amazing. They also have the best bagels in town, and lox! It was a great relief to find somewhere in town that can make a good toasted bagel with all the fixings. they now also have delicious gelato and sorbets, and the store is connected to the new Green Toad Bookstore, so you can browse while you wait for your order. read more

So while the food and drinks here are delicious, and the environment is great, it's also a very crowded, busy environment! You can tell the owner is passionate about the business and his customers, he is always so nice and I see him there all the time. This place isn't terrible, but it isn't great either. When my family and I ordered, most of the stuff we asked for was sold out. Though that may be because it's just after Christmas. Once we selected something that wasn't sold out, we sat down and waited for our food. We did get it quickly and began to eat, the cookie was stale and the hot chocolate was warm. I stopped here while waiting for a family member's doctor's appointment and I'm so glad I did! I had an oat milk cappuccino and an Asiago bagel with cream cheese and lox. I grew up in Oneonta NY and would frequent Latte Lounge often during highschool and on my way to work while I was living there. I have since moved out of state and was very excited to revisit there on my recent trip back home. I am a barista and love checking out independent coffee shops and seeing the beauty that a simple cup of coffee has. I am sad to say that when i got my latte from Latte lounge I was disappointed. Where was the microfoam? My fiance's latte was also lacking the beautiful velvety foam that lattes are supposed to have, instead we received lattes with overly aerated foam that had huge bubbles far from the beautiful texture lattes should have, the foam was then scooped onto our steamed milk, if the milk was aerated properly free pouring it into the cup should of been easy, the foam shouldnt of separated from the milk as quickly. I hope next time I visit, my latte will be better and hopefully the quality of the latte foam will live up to the name of the shop. On a better note they changed the interior and I love the industrial vibe you get when you walk in. Latte lounge has a great atmosphere and lots of fun places to sit and take the time to enjoy the small things Oneonta has to offer. read more

Vibe is funky, casual and comfortable. The coffee and food is not....there is a lot of attention to detail there. Check out the bagel with lox and cream cheese and definitely opt for the additions of thinly sliced tomato and onion with a few capers. What a great balance of flavors. This is best place for me to sit and write. While it does get busy, I am able to tune out the noise or put in headphones. I also highly recommend the Iced Chai - my current favorite and go to. Great selection of food, but don't expect fancy stuff. Eggs, salads, wraps, bagels, potatos, that type of thing (which is all I really need in a coffee shop anyway). They do have adorable chocolate treats (sometime little truffle mice) which is pricey, but fun to look at. Free water where you wait for your drinks....
