About 15 varieties today, top left is a gose, my fave, the one marked pie close second, rhubarb pie Belgian!
Vince S.

I'm not really a beer guy. When I do drink them I prefer sours and Belgium styles, both of which I found multiple examples of here. I stopped in a few weeks before Xmas and found the brewery doing a nice business. VERY good music being played and a list of at least 15 tap choices, with a few other options available for takeout too. A tasting of 4 is $8, good deal in my opinion. If time allowed I would have selected a second tasting, my favorites of the 4 I did try were the Wit and a rhubarb sour. I took home a few 4packs and found these to be very good as well, another sour and a spiced Belgian ale. As I mentioned already, the jams were very much to my liking, and the overall vibe of the place was very chill too. Good customer service and plenty of room at either the bar or seating areas and tables. I'll make a point of coming in for a tasting every time I'm nearby during business hours. Hopefully that will coincide with a visit to my new favorite pizza place that just happens to be steps away. Looking forward to returning soon!

Cool little place in downtown Point Pleasant. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 (it opens at 2pm on Saturday) and it was already packed. There was a big group of guys who we later found out were a bachelor party but man they were loud, just not what I was expecting. They eventually left and it got a lot more chill. It was nice they were dog friendly so we could bring our little guy. For beer - I got the Hazy IPA (A-Frame) and my girlfriend got the Kolsch (S.O.S.). I liked mine, the hazy ipa is one of my favorite types of beer. My girlfriend liked her beer too, but I did not like it at all. I got another A-Frame and she got the Flatspell which was a Belgian Wit. This one was much better in both of our opinions. Overall a cool place, pretty good beer. I would come back.

Wide variety of beer and all are good. Location is in the middle of town and parking can be a challenge. Worth the stop

Morning glass

A gem - been following them for a while on instagram and finally got there for a brew outside. I got morning glass and my friend got the coconut porter. Morning glass was a great mix of sour and fruity. Would say it's a good sour for those that aren't super into sour sour beers. Both were around $7 for a pint which I thought was about average for craft beer in nj/nyc area. They had plenty of picnic tables and they were spaced apart. The waitress was friendly and I ended up getting a 4 pack of Island Time Mai Tai to go as well.

It's good to see that Point Pleasant has finally approved a brewery in the heart of town. It looks as if things are happening here on a Friday eve in this two week old business judging by the packed house here. We came in and took the obligatory tour ( required by the State) and decided to try all their seven offerings. Their beers ranged from a stout, Porter, wheat, and a couple IPAs, all very fresh. My preference was the 5/4 chocolate coffee stout, super crisp. I did not find the others notably different to my palate. The staff was super friendly especially Drew, who helped us with the flights. I will definitely try them in the fall hoping the new season will inspire new horizons. I hope they do well. Gender neutral restrooms available.

I was visiting my sister and she wanted to take me to brewery since We both love craft beer. Last Wave Brewing was such a a fun brewery. It was pretty busy on Saturday at 3pm but it was a great crowd. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service from the bartender. He was very helpful even though he had a long line of people to assist as well. The best thing about breweries is that for the most part, everyone is friendly and understands the wait. I ended up getting a flight, like I normally do when it's my first time at a particular brewery, and none of the beers disappointed. We got 3 flights for $24- I think that is a very reasonable price for flights. Although we didn't get food to bring to this brewery I did notice that others were picking up pizzas down the road or were munching on snacks they brought. This is a great local spot, or even somewhere to add to the list to do a day trip to. I hope to be back soon!

Nice ambience, fun knowledgeable staff, and great crowd. Came here with some friends we heard the brewery was awesome. Upon entering I knew what the hype was about. Nicely lite brewery with a very diverse crowd of younger drinkers, older drinkers, and non drinkers (kids and dogs). The selection of beers are pretty extensive, they have something for everyone. Sours, Bruts, IPAs, and non- alcoholic coffees. No food available unfortunately but it seems they allow you to bring stuff from the outside. They have merch available for sale, also artwork on the walls that you can purchase. Overall I had a great experience - grab a table, sit with friends and chat - or sit by the bar and make friends. Shout out to the staff for being super friendly and attentive! Bathrooms are clean. Will definitely return ! Enjoy your visit!

Thanks Sam! They have BEER SLUSHIES!! Highly recommend. So many great beers accompanied with excellent data on each one. Hooray for spreadsheets; they can indeed be used for awesome! Burger 25 next door delivers to Icarus for free. They have rad salads as well as burgers. Make sure to ask for condiments and napkins but if they forget Icarus does have napkins available on the first floor to the left of the bathrooms (which were sparkling clean fwiw). I wish they were closer to my stomping grounds but theyre definitely worth making a special trip for. Great prices and good happy hour as well. I can easily fully endorse their awesomeness. PS I heard there's really good Indian food right down the street. If Sam is there you can ask her about it, and remind her to find and try some Dosas!

They have been at their "new" Brick location since 2024. The Icarus Brewing Company's Mug Membership Club is a year long special that includes a free mug, 10% off drafts (whether you take it to go or enjoy it on-site), 10% off all merchandise, including clothing, tumblers, and glassware (that Feather Falling glass is mine!), $2 off the first pour of every month, and, to top it all off, a barrel-aged bottle of their latest release. They text my husband when it's ready, and he heads over to pick it up. Needless to say, he was a happy hubby when I gifted him this gift. Their wonderful crew staffs the taproom and they keep the place immaculate. The atmosphere remains incredibly relaxed with ample seating available, both indoor and outdoor. Special area for kids and doggies to burn off energy during warmer weather. Next door is a burger spot if you want something to eat while enjoying your beer. Every beer they offer is solid, with a wide variety to choose from. My personal favorite is Drinking Crayons.

Apps: Crabby gabby sushi roll -- my fave at a B2 restaurant and I loved it here as well! Bruschetta burrata -- abundant and the burrata was soo fresh. Baked Mac and cheese with lobster -- the creamiest mac and cheese and big chunks of meaty lobster. Scarpiello wings -- sticky and savory perfection. Could've made a made off this alone! Entrees: Pan seared scallops with polenta -- the scallops were nice and tender and seared very nicely. Linguine & clams with red sauce -- very generous with the clams and the sauce was flavored very well. Cheesesteak -- tender, juicy, huge portion and served on amazing bread. Deliciously cut fries too. Drinks: Berry loca margarita -- not even a big marg person and I loved this. Spring fling sangria -- my friend downed hers! Dessert: Chocolate lava cake -- oozing with chocolate. Sooo delicious. Can't skip this! Service was awesome -- our waiters were so friendly and helpful. I like the cozy and rustic vibes of the restaurant, makes it a welcoming spot. Definitely will be back.

B2 Bistro+Bar was close to a restaurant we finally agreed on, but was closed that Sunday. I am actually happy it was closed because B2 Bistro+Bar was exactly what we needed that day. I had a Snow Globe Martini ($16) which impressed me with edible glitter (yes I am a chid at heart). We shared the Bruschetta Burrata ($20), which was good but they gave us only 4 small slices of toasts. My friend and I both thought they should have given 6 minimum, especially because 2 of them had huge hole in the middle so did it even count? lol For main I ordered a Prime Burger ($22) and my friend a Creamy Cajun Alfredo with Shrimp ($38). We genuinely loved our food. The space was large and spaced out. There was a 360 bar in the middle of the space. Nicely decorated for valentines day with strings of hearts falling from the ceiling/ lights. When we are in the area again - I think I would like to come back and try other things on the menu.

The beer here is simply outstanding. If you are scouring the Garden State for the best beer…read morepossible, you're in the right spot. But I'll get to that in a moment. The taproom is on another level as well. One might say it resembles a millennial hipster fever dream, but being a millennial myself I say it is incredibly well thought out and designed. Housed in a former manufacturing facility for a company that made military telecommunications equipment, there are so many different spaces all under one roof. A bar in the front room and a bar in the back room. A small 21+ lounge with couches in the front, and a giant 21+ "sports zone" with three giant TV's in the back. Three coolers for beer to go. A large merch area. High top tables. Regular tables. Immaculate bathrooms. This place has it all. My girlfriend and I came out on a Saturday afternoon when the place was packed with families and their kids. There was a toddler in the small 21+ lounge and a baby in the sports zone, and only two people pouring beers so they were unable to notice and do anything about it. We don't mind kids in breweries but be advised if that isn't your thing. To the beer: according to their website, they specialize in hoppy beers. There were 13 beers on tap (with some being slight variations of each other). One lager, four stouts, and the rest IPAs. They don't do flights but will pour you two sample sizes at a time, and you'll need those sample sizes for most beers because the ABV will knock you off your feet. I love IPAs and I can easily say they knocked these out of the park. The standout to me was the Birdie Putt, which they didn't have available in cans to go, so we got a four pack of the Ground Rule Triple instead. Founder Jeff Baker spent years honing his brewing skills in his garage before opening the brewery in 2023, and his dedication and passion really show in all of the beers. We live over an hour away, but we will definitely make the pilgrimage back sometime soon.

If this brewery were in Hopewell, Troon wouldn't stand a chance…read more This place clearly specialises in hazy IPAs, and it shows in both quality and range. The tap list is smartly organised by style--pale ale, IPA, double IPA, triple IPA, and even quad IPA--making it easy to navigate whether you want something approachable or fully saturated. On my visit there were also a handful of non-IPA options, including three stouts and two lagers, one of which was a dark lager, so there's still something for everyone. The space itself sets it apart: a large, open taproom with ample seating, plus a second taproom ideal for hosting events. There's a strong to-go game as well, with two coolers packed with cans. In warmer months, the outdoor areas add even more room to spread out and linger. Clean, well-maintained bathrooms round things out. A destination brewery that takes hazy IPA seriously and backs it up with the space and execution to match.
