I like Beach Haus. I go to Trivia Night on Thursdays once a month probably. The beer selection is fine. The food is fine. But I have had some fun times and continue to come back. Service can be spotty. The bar and dining area is very good. Outdoor second floor deck, large bar area, big tables for groups.

Interesting location. Sat upstairs in food/brewery area. Tried 2 Stouts, 1 was sweeter. Ordered Wings & tried to get the recommended Brisket sandwich which they smoke there, but they were out of it. (Was cooking in smoker.) Had the cod fish tacos - very good. Would not do the wings again as they were a bit dry /overcooked. (Apparently some places partial cook & then throw them in again per order & toss in sauce.) Outdoor seating available upstairs, private party room area available for events. Daily events check website. Service was good. Tables or sit at bar. We'll go back for the Brisket & try some other brews. (I do not believe pet friendly unless possibly downstairs only. Call & check.)

Come here with friends every other year to eat lunch before we go fishing. Service is a hit or miss, but it's because they are pretty busy in the summer months. Nice brewery in the area with good selection of beers -if you like a specific one, you can buy their cans to go as well! If you're not a beer person, they also have a good amount of cocktails available. Food is pretty good for a brewery and food menu is pretty extensive. Since we come in a group, we typically get the pretzel (bestseller) and a variety of other apps.

Great place to hang out for beer and some food down the shore. We enjoyed various beer flights -- perfect way to find your favorites. I discovered I now prefer lagers, DIPAs, and stouts. Out with the pilsners! And, no longer a fan of lime infused beers -- although that was one of my companion's favorites! Also, the Bavarian Pretzel was yummy! Lots of events all week (see pics). You can have a private event in the ground level room. Can hang out indoors or out on the second level. And, there's a 21+ rooftop bar that looks like a great place to hang out in the evenings as they have tables with gas fireplaces you can sit around. Service was friendly and helpful. Street parking.

It's my first time at Beach House Brewery and it's amazing to see a large rooftop bar packed with guests. We waited for a table but unfortunately we were not lucky enough to have one so we just decided to go sit at their bar downstairs. The Marina boardwalk cannot be seen though at the rooftop bar. It would be nicer if this place is more closer to the beach. The drinks, food and service were great. The server assisted us with our orders specially with our choice of brews. We tried few of their great brews, I had the Swash, Ocean Mist, Sunny Sour-Orange Creamsicle and High Regard. My friend and I both enjoyed the Swash. For the food we had the Meat and Cheese Board with Fig Jam and Pita chips and Walnuts. We had an amazing experience at the Beach House Brewery and will definitely go grab beers here again soon.

Wow! It's been a few years since I've been to Beach Haus Brewery and it's amazing how much they've expanded - they have an extra large rooftop and a larger area inside with seating that can be used for private parties. They have at least 20 beers on top and a full bar for non-beer lovers. Looks like they have some great weekly specials - burger, night, bingo, trivia, and live music! Only complaint was that they charged me for an extra beer and we're not able to refund me while on the roof deck for some reason.

My family and I came to Beach Haus on a nice afternoon and got to enjoy there rooftop seating!! They have indoor and outdoor, along with different levels for whatever people want to enjoy! In my opinion, the real treat is when you sit on the rooftop enjoy the views along with great food and drinks!! The service was also super friendly and very knowledgeable on the different beers they had available!

After dinner, my friend and I visited the rooftop of Beach Haus for a drink! We went right after it rained, so the tables and seats were still wet, but surprisingly, the fabric covered seats were dry. The rooftop offered a view of the strip mall, but we could see the marina in the distance. When we first sat down, we noticed that we weren't presented with a menu like other guests were. Instead, we approached the bar and directly ordered there. The menu had many options with fun cocktail names, but I admit it was slightly pricy with options in the upper teens. We asked the bartender for recommendations on the prettiest drinks and we ended up ordering the casa sunset and shark river spritz. I really enjoyed my spritz, but my friend's casa sunset had a strong tequila taste in my opinion. Overall, the rooftop itself was pretty cute and I think it would be really nice at night time! Unfortunately since it's not right on the water, the direct view isn't as impressive, but it would be a great place to watch the sunset!

The beer here is simply outstanding. If you are scouring the Garden State for the best beer…read morepossible, you're in the right spot. But I'll get to that in a moment. The taproom is on another level as well. One might say it resembles a millennial hipster fever dream, but being a millennial myself I say it is incredibly well thought out and designed. Housed in a former manufacturing facility for a company that made military telecommunications equipment, there are so many different spaces all under one roof. A bar in the front room and a bar in the back room. A small 21+ lounge with couches in the front, and a giant 21+ "sports zone" with three giant TV's in the back. Three coolers for beer to go. A large merch area. High top tables. Regular tables. Immaculate bathrooms. This place has it all. My girlfriend and I came out on a Saturday afternoon when the place was packed with families and their kids. There was a toddler in the small 21+ lounge and a baby in the sports zone, and only two people pouring beers so they were unable to notice and do anything about it. We don't mind kids in breweries but be advised if that isn't your thing. To the beer: according to their website, they specialize in hoppy beers. There were 13 beers on tap (with some being slight variations of each other). One lager, four stouts, and the rest IPAs. They don't do flights but will pour you two sample sizes at a time, and you'll need those sample sizes for most beers because the ABV will knock you off your feet. I love IPAs and I can easily say they knocked these out of the park. The standout to me was the Birdie Putt, which they didn't have available in cans to go, so we got a four pack of the Ground Rule Triple instead. Founder Jeff Baker spent years honing his brewing skills in his garage before opening the brewery in 2023, and his dedication and passion really show in all of the beers. We live over an hour away, but we will definitely make the pilgrimage back sometime soon.

If this brewery were in Hopewell, Troon wouldn't stand a chance…read more This place clearly specialises in hazy IPAs, and it shows in both quality and range. The tap list is smartly organised by style--pale ale, IPA, double IPA, triple IPA, and even quad IPA--making it easy to navigate whether you want something approachable or fully saturated. On my visit there were also a handful of non-IPA options, including three stouts and two lagers, one of which was a dark lager, so there's still something for everyone. The space itself sets it apart: a large, open taproom with ample seating, plus a second taproom ideal for hosting events. There's a strong to-go game as well, with two coolers packed with cans. In warmer months, the outdoor areas add even more room to spread out and linger. Clean, well-maintained bathrooms round things out. A destination brewery that takes hazy IPA seriously and backs it up with the space and execution to match.

My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon in June. The taproom felt spacious with natural light, and was well decorated with off-white walls and interesting plant decor. Definitely a relaxing and welcoming vibe. The place was decently crowded but not overwhelmingly so for most of our time there. We love dogs and they had a ton of dogs inside, so we were in heaven. 10 beers on tap, plus one seltzer, and a nice variety in the list. I liked that the list was broken down by types of beers (easy drinking and crisp, hoppy and hazy, dark and strong), and each beer had a detailed description next to it. This should honestly be the norm for breweries. We each had a flight so we were able to sample most of the menu. The beer was pretty good. We enjoyed all that we had, but nothing stood out to us as super memorable. We live on the other side of NJ, so we can't be regulars, but we would definitely stop by again the next time we're in the area.

The tuna tartar tasted fresh, and I liked that the tuna was in chunks rather than minced. It came on a bed of rice and avocado and was served with fried wonton skins. There was also a sweet sauce drizzled over it (like eel sauce), which I didn't really think was necessary, but it was okay. I enjoyed my lobster very much, although I was surprised to see that there was roe in it (which I thought was forbidden from an eco standpoint). My husband liked his sea bass, but he struggled with the oysters since none of them were properly shucked (he had to take a knife to them to properly remove them from their shells). That was pretty disappointing for a seafood restaurant. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Overall not a bad experience but there is definitely some room for improvement.

It is not a scene that stirs the soul or quiets the mind, but it is fine for staring at when there is nothing else to do. I came for lunch on a weekend, early enough to avoid the mob that usually descends later in the day. Getting a table was easy. Finding a parking space was not. It is always the same story there, a little game of musical bumper cars. When I made it inside, I found the tables to be sticky in the way that suggests they had been wiped down but not really cleaned. The servers moved with the slow grace of people who had already given up on the afternoon. They were not rude, just absent in spirit. I ordered the fried oysters because it seemed like something they ought to do well. They were fine, in the way that lukewarm applause is fine. Not offensive, not memorable. The breading was heavy, the flavor lost somewhere between the fryer and the plate. For the price, one expects a little magic, or at least a spark of care. Neither arrived. Klein's feels like a place living off its own legend, a faded postcard from better days. People go because they have always gone. The fish is there, the view is there, but the heart of it seems to have gone missing. It is not terrible, but it is not worth the time or the money either. Three stars, mostly for nostalgia.

But I think we caught them on an extremely off night. We had a reservation and came in on time. We were told to sit down and that another waiter would come by to show us to our table. We waited for ten minutes before we were seated, and in that time another bigger party came in and were seated before us. Even when we were seated, the new waiter said he thought we were just waiting for appetizers, and didn't realize we even needed a table. Had we not said anything, we would have been waiting even longer to be seated even with the reservation. We quickly placed our drink and food orders, and this is when service continued to decline. It was clear that there were only two waiters for the smaller dinning room, and yet they were doing a little bit of everything. Our first waitress was also folding silverware, moving clean dishes back to the kitchen, and checking in on the entire dining room. Our second waiter was also the bartender, food runner, and table buser. Needless to say, they needed more hands on deck. I know they were doing their best, but an hour to get our food is really ridiculous. And in that time we were not checked on for water refills or just to ask if we needed anything. Even when our food came out, we had to stop one of the two waiters and ask about the food. Only then, after a few more minutes did they get the food from the kitchen. While not shown in the picture, we got the brussel sprouts and carrot appetizer. This was the only food item we were kind of disappointed with as we couldn't really taste any sriracha, and felt we could have made something similar at home. Other than that, when our three main dishes finally did come out, they were served hot and everything was cooked very well. We all really enjoyed the food we ordered. Really good, but also not out-of-this-world like the price and reviews suggested. In the end, the service was just extremely slow and the price of the food was very high (about $30 per person for three people plus two drinks about $15 each), making it very hard to justify the overall experience. And even though the food was really good, I would not say it was worth going through the extremely long wait.
