After lunch, we stopped at Beach House Brewery for a beer, and I'm so glad we did! It was a very busy brewery with a fun, lively atmosphere. We grabbed seats at the bar and each had one beer. I had the Mermaid Tears IPA and absolutely loved it! ‍ It was flavorful, delicious, and definitely my kind of IPA. My husband had the Rose Tattoo, which he really liked--but he liked my beer better! The Beach Haus Brewery appeared to have rave reviews and a dedicated following, so it definitely seemed like a place that we would want to explore since we were in the neighborhood. When we arrived at the three-story space, we immediately headed up to the rooftop first. The top floor was open to the elements and overlooked a strip mall just below, but with a further gaze, we were able to see the Shark River. There was a bar and a few tables, as well as a lounge area with couches and cushioned armchairs, which we were thankfully able to snag. The layout was fun and allowed us to converse with other patrons sitting across the coffee table from us. The one thing I did not love about the roof, however, was that it functioned as almost an entirely different venue. Meaning that they had only a few small plates for food options and very few beers on tap. They did not even offer flights, but focused mainly on cocktails. Fine, I had a mixed drink with mezcal, Aperol, and watermelon, which was an excellent smoky and sweet margarita, but I had wanted to sample their beers since it was a brewery. After our initial round of drinks, we decided to head down to the second floor, rustic taproom to sample more of their menu. The place was packed with diners, but, since we did not have a reservation, we were nervous that we would not receive a table. Thankfully, two seats opened at the bar, so we grabbed those. Unfortunately, by that point, I did not want to drink anymore, so I did not get to try their beers (except a sip of the Swell, which was a bit too hoppy of a hazy IPA for my liking), but I was hungry enough to get a dinner entree. The friendly bartender took our order and ensured all of our customizations were noted, but the food still wound up awful. I had selected the Tzatziki Salmon with the yogurt sauce on the side. The fish was cooked well, but way too heavily salted. It was served with orzo that was overcooked, dry, bland, and stuck together in clumps. I was shocked they even served something that looked so unappetizing. There were also a bunch of roasted brussels sprouts that had a funny flavor and appeared to have been previously frozen. Then, when I thought it could not get any worse, the tzatziki seemed curdled, so I was glad that I had ordered it on the side. My partner's burger came with a single piece of bacon that was all fat and not even remotely crispy. While the food was terrible, the service was nice, and I really enjoyed my cocktail and the vibe at the Beach Haus Brewery, so I decided to give it 3 stars, but I am clearly being generous. read more

Came here yesterday for the annual Belmar Seafood Fest. We come early, order all our food, put it on ice, and then go to Klein's for their happy hour and usually order sushi (pretty good) and drinks ($7/$9 sushi and Burger sliders, waffle and other fries $4), $6 well drinks $7 house wines.) After extending our stay to enjoy the view, with one more drink each, I wanted to check this place out. The not so friendly female bartender advised me there was a private party on the first floor and to go upstairs by stairs or elevator. Okay. So, anyway, I notice in the elevator there's a 3rd floor (roof top) and wanting to prolong our day out, I say, hold the elevator while I take peek on the rooftop venue. Very inviting, so we go to the rooftop, not crowded, and the bartender was fairly quick to take my beer order. I like IPA's and had a hazy, which she suggested. We sit across from a couple on the couch. I decide on lobster roll sliders. I have a feeling it'll take forever for a server to approach, so I order at the bar and point to where we're sitting and pay in advance. The food comes quickly and I have my cash tip ready and the server very sweetly accepted it. The bread was delicious. Not so much lobster, but the bread and combo made it very tasty. $20 for 6. I wouldn't buy if hungry, but it was a decent appetizer, if a bit pricey, during these crazy times and crazy prices we're all experiencing now Our companions (we were sitting in one of the couch area conversational pits) mentioned his partner was unaware he was paying $17 a pop for a glass of white wine, and had just plunked down $34 for two barely half glasses of wine. Um, no. My beer was the usual expected price. The lobster sliders were on soft, tender, fresh mini rolls that were slightly sweet, like "Hawaiian" bread. Decently priced beer. Enjoyable views. And I took special notice that the barriers were slightly above waist high (I'm 5'6") with plenty of space between the barriers and the ground below - just in case your drunk a* decides you can fly. Lol! Good choice! Nice views. Bathroom was clean, but I can imagine the nightmare when packed, as there were only two unisex bathrooms. The Xtra levels would, hopefully take up any slack. A lot of beer houses do not serve food in NJ, so that's a plus. I would definitely check this place out again or go the first time, especially with a date! read more

We stopped by Beach Haus Brewery for lunch after doing a fishing charter nearby - everything was great! They have a unique list of beers with great flavors (especially if you love sours like us!) You pick four beer selections for a flight. The Beach Balls (mini meatball sliders) appetizer was good - but the Butcher Bacon was next level! The 3 strips of bacon were seasoned to perfection with Five Spice, and the brown sugar coating melted into a sweet glaze - then you can add a squeeze of lemon to balance out all the flavors. We can't speak to the entrees/larger plates, but we'll definitely be back to try some stuff out! The chill, beachy ambience was cool, and they have 3 levels and ample outdoor seating on the 2nd floor and rooftop. Service was friendly & quick as well. read more

Great place to hang out, have a few beers, and grab a bite! Really great food menu options for a brewery. A bit more elevated than your standard bar fare. Love the upstairs rooftop. Super comfortable seating and a great place to relax a bit from the week. Service was friendly and attentive. My friend and I shared a flatbread and some beers on the rooftop and easily could have spent several hours up there just chatting and enjoying the space. Interesting location. Sat upstairs in food/brewery area. Tried 2 Stouts, 1 was sweeter. Ordered Wings & tried to get the recommended Brisket sandwich which they smoke there, but they were out of it. (Was cooking in smoker.) Had the cod fish tacos - very good. Would not do the wings again as they were a bit dry /overcooked. (Apparently some places partial cook & then throw them in again per order & toss in sauce.) Outdoor seating available upstairs, private party room area available for events. I like Beach Haus. I go to Trivia Night on Thursdays once a month probably. The beer selection is fine. The food is fine. But I have had some fun times and continue to come back. Come here with friends every other year to eat lunch before we go fishing. Service is a hit or miss, but it's because they are pretty busy in the summer months. Nice brewery in the area with good selection of beers -if you like a specific one, you can buy their cans to go as well! If you're not a beer person, they also have a good amount of cocktails available. Food is pretty good for a brewery and food menu is pretty extensive. Since we come in a group, we typically get the pretzel (bestseller) and a variety of other apps. read more

Great place to hang out for beer and some food down the shore. We enjoyed various beer flights -- perfect way to find your favorites. I discovered I now prefer lagers, DIPAs, and stouts. Out with the pilsners! And, no longer a fan of lime infused beers -- although that was one of my companion's favorites! Also, the Bavarian Pretzel was yummy! Lots of events all week (see pics). You can have a private event in the ground level room. Can hang out indoors or out on the second level. It's my first time at Beach House Brewery and it's amazing to see a large rooftop bar packed with guests. We waited for a table but unfortunately we were not lucky enough to have one so we just decided to go sit at their bar downstairs. The Marina boardwalk cannot be seen though at the rooftop bar. It would be nicer if this place is more closer to the beach. The drinks, food and service were great. The server assisted us with our orders specially with our choice of brews. We tried few of their great brews, I had the Swash, Ocean Mist, Sunny Sour-Orange Creamsicle and High Regard. My friend and I both enjoyed the Swash. For the food we had the Meat and Cheese Board with Fig Jam and Pita chips and Walnuts. What can I say about the Beach Haus Brewery. Absolutely perfection for hosting the Beck/Negron Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. The 3 hour event in the 801 Kitchen was more than enough room for our group of 37...the hot and cold buffet with skirt steak and chicken was delicious. Wow! It's been a few years since I've been to Beach Haus Brewery and it's amazing how much they've expanded - they have an extra large rooftop and a larger area inside with seating that can be used for private parties. They have at least 20 beers on top and a full bar for non-beer lovers. Looks like they have some great weekly specials - burger, night, bingo, trivia, and live music! Only complaint was that they charged me for an extra beer and we're not able to refund me while on the roof deck for some reason. read more

We had a great event at the Beach Haus Brewery! First of all the place is absolutely amazing! All of the floors have their unique touch! We had our party at the 801Craft Kitchen and Spirits. The food came out very quickly which was good because people were hungry! We just wish they would let you take home the food afterwards. We paid for it and should be able to bring it home. After dinner, my friend and I visited the rooftop of Beach Haus for a drink! We went right after it rained, so the tables and seats were still wet, but surprisingly, the fabric covered seats were dry. The rooftop offered a view of the strip mall, but we could see the marina in the distance. When we first sat down, we noticed that we weren't presented with a menu like other guests were. Instead, we approached the bar and directly ordered there. The menu had many options with fun cocktail names, but I admit it was slightly pricy with options in the upper teens. We asked the bartender for recommendations on the prettiest drinks and we ended up ordering the casa sunset and shark river spritz. I really enjoyed my spritz, but my friend's casa sunset had a strong tequila taste in my opinion. Overall, the rooftop itself was pretty cute and I think it would be really nice at night time! Unfortunately since it's not right on the water, the direct view isn't as impressive, but it would be a great place to watch the sunset! read more

7/6/2025 unfortunately have to leave a bad review. upon arrival was told to sit anywhere and someone would be over in a few minutes. We waited about ten minutes until someone quickly dropped off menus and then disappeared for another ten minutes. The upstairs wasn't super busy when we had walked in and also dwindled down over our time there but it seemed as if we were forgotten about multiple times. We ordered 6 total items (2 drinks and 4 food items) and it took a total of a hour and a half to receive anything. We ordered around 6:15-6:20pm and received our appetizer at 7:30-7:45pm. Then followed up by waiting another 30 minutes for our other food. I ordered the vegetarian empanadas and mac and cheese (picture provided) and had to send back the Mac and cheese after a few bites. It was dry and just tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The burger my friend ordered was good and cooked the way she asked. The best part of the meal was the Poppy's Pickles appetizer. The beer battered pickles were delicious and would recommend to anyone! Overall our server was kind and she did end up taking the Mac and cheese plus the two drinks off the bill to apologize which I thought was very nice. I really do hope that if my friend and I choose to stop in here again we have a better experience. read more

I'm not a beer drinker, but I joined a friend here for lunch. I like the rooftop patio available for seating along with the many indoor seats. Since I don't drink beer I didn't bother to check out the beer menu, but they did have cocktails available for those like myself who want a non-beer option. I tried the strawberry refresher cocktail and it was both sweet and tangy, a nice light summer drink. There is a nice selection on their food menu. For an appetizer we split a Bavarian pretzel which is really big and comes with mustard and beer cheese. The cheese was addicting and arguably was my favorite of the dips. I had the Haus burger which was a gigantic burger loaded with caramelized onions, bacon, and delicious chipotle ranch. I didn't even need ketchup for this burger, it was fantastic and so juicy. Served with a perfect portion of fries and a yummy pickle. Very nice service here. Definitely will be back in the summer for post-beach drinks and eats! read more

We went here one afternoon to try some flights, the beer was very good. I loved that we were able to sit outside upstairs! We also ordered some pretzels which is a must when your drinking flights! Place was very nice inside they do have an elevator which is a plus if someone has a handicap! All In all I think it's a great place to try some new beer. Will definitely return! read more
