All I'm writing about are the prices. They didn't carry regular korbel, and talked us into the organic bottle. $25 dollars a bottle. I pay 12.99 and 9.99 on sale. Stopped in quickly to find something for a BYO dinner. The owner was the worst. In 5 minutes, he managed to make an inappropriate and insulting "joke" in my direction (and when I paid it no attention, proceeded to overexplain the joke), bash and name-call his new brewery neighbors because we also had some beer from there, and display that he is completely incompetent when it comes to industry knowledge, customer service, or tact. The selection was between awful and mediocre, wine bottles aren't stored properly and were covered in dust, and I paid $14 for a bottle of wine that is sold everywhere else for $12. Never going here again. There's another liquor store 2 blocks away so there really isn't a need. This man does not deserve support from locals. What an uncomfortable experience. read more

As a local, I've always had a great experience coming here, especially for wine. As long as you can handle some sarcastic banter, the guy at the front is extremely helpful in recommending fine (and affordable) vino. I'll tell him what I'm planning for dinner, and he'll know exactly what to suggest. Smaller selection, but overall better prices compared to the place right down the street. read more

Not nice people. They make fun of deaf and blind handicap .do not shop here. They have a step up into the store and the worker in a derogatory way made fun of deaf and blind people saying it didn't keep them out after one of us stubbed our toe on the step. Disgusting person. read more

Today I stopped in this store to pick up a bottle while visiting Bradley Beach for the weekend. The man behind the counter accused me of providing a fake ID and told me that I should have known to bring backup form of ID WITH picture because I am from out of state (Pennsylvania). He then proceeded to call my friends and myself "babies" in a derogatory tone and said we should have brought our college IDs. I am a 26 year old professional working woman who graduated college 5 years ago. I do not carry anything 5 years old with me. This man was extremely rude and accusatory and I am appalled by the service. If he would have stated his policy and been kind about the situation, I would not be writing this bad review. Please be aware that if you are from anywhere outside of NJ and you don't look old, you must bring every form of ID possible to purchase here. read more

Not a huge selection but the guy at the counter is great. The ownership is 5000 times better than Shore wine and liquors down the street.

This freakin' place is the *spot*. Alex knows pretty much everything you need to know about alcohol, wines, spirits, cigars and related stuff, from trivia (did you know that when you give a gift of alcohol to an Indian, it should be *at least* Johnnie Walker Black?) to useful stuff like which Pinot Grigio costs $7.99 and is as good as stuff for double the price. Pablo the Owner keeps a watchful eye on the proceedings, and a good time is had by all. In general, they have a good selection of Scotches, particularly some very nice high end single malts. The also have some nice beers at good prices, from twelve packs of Heinie and Heinie Light to microbrews and semi-microbrews like Land Shark lager. They even have Sapporo beer and malt liquor. Plus a huge selection of wines, from $5.99 vin ordinaire table wines to $200 bottles of champagne, plus iceweins, grappas, and sakes. Alex is a big fan of traditional drinks like the Sidecar and the Rob Roy and the Bronx, and modern variations on these, and he'll tell you all about how to mix 'em right if you just ask. The guy behind the counter was supper helpful and knowledgable. Gave me and my friend a whole lesson on pasteurized and non-pasteurized beer and how one goes skunk and the other doesn't, interesting. We picked up a bottle of organic white wine because we went to an organic restaurant, so it was good that they carried that. I was also looking for a favorite Chardonnay but they didn't have it. read more

I read some terrible reviews about the service etc on here about this store to where I wasn't even going to go there.I went today and i have NO idea why. The staff could not have been any nicer to me .They retrieved 3 items for me I couldn't find instead of pointing to it they jumped and said let me get that for you. One of which was on special at half price that he got from the back.I would have had no idea it was on sale.. Very cordial & friendly I think it is a family affair with "Mom " looking over the shop. Love that it is a family owned business. Everyone is always so very helpful and courteous. I usually don't like going into liquor stores cause they are so big and I can never find what I'm looking for. Bradley's is perfect, small and convenient. I know I can stop in at anytime and always find whatever it is I am looking for! Prices are reasonable too. read more

I live in Bradley and this is my liquor store of choice. Small family run place that has surprisingly wide selection for its size--beer/wine/hard liquor. They know a good bit about what they're selling and they are not shy to offer suggestions & alternatives, even if unsolicited. Went in for some Twisted Teas (don't judge me). The owner came right up and helped me find what I was looking for. Then I asked a crazy question - "to save me a trip to another store...any chance you have about 20 pieces of printer paper I can have?" The guy left for a few moments and returned with a whole ream and says "here ya go buddy". He just gained a customer for life...because I very much appreciate dealing with nice people!!!! read more

I went here on my first vacation as a 21 year old, looking to purchase one bottle of wine as my first purchased alcoholic beverage, and to share with family members at dinner. At first, the owners son was extremely helpful by recommending white wines for me, but as I ring up, he goes to verify my ID, and immediately declared it as a fake and asked for back up IDs. As I proceeded to show him back up forms of ID, he denied looking at them and went to show me all the fakes he had confiscated that day, and was attempting to confiscate mine. He referred to me as "Pennsyltucky trash" and was extremely rude. I do not recommend anyone go here... especially new 21 year old adults. He clearly does not know how to verify an ID properly. read more
