WOWWWW to this place. I eat a lot of burgers and this was definitely one of the best I've ever had. The menu changes frequently so while I was there, my table and I also got the chicken Milanese, octopus and carrots. Everything was absolutely delicious and staff was super friendly and helpful.

My husband and I returned to The Grand Tavern a year after our first visit since we are currently in town, and we had another great experience. Again, the place was really busy for a Tuesday night, and it's understandable given how great the food is. We had the shrimp-stuffed wings, the badger flame beets, sticky ribs, and burger. Everything was really delicious. Our server was Grace, and she was so kind and attentive, and she even ran after us after we forgot our bag of leftovers on the table. So nice of her. Thank you, Grace! We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

Was really looking forward to eating here as a few friends rave about it. I dunno. Maybe an off night. It's a cozy welcoming open tavern space. Has outside seating but it was 100 degrees so we stayed inside. Service was good however was not warned about a beer I ordered (after the cocktail) that was actually a large bottle. I only wanted a draft so she wasn't clear about the size or bottle. Cocktail menu has plenty of interesting options. Price was steep but that's the cost of diner dining. Ordered apps and entrees. Interesting apps but didn't hit the tastebuds as hoped for. Nor did entrees , as nice as they looked, the fried chicken masala felt undercooked. A few noted it and warranted a few of us not seeking a return anytime soon. Disappointed here.

Love the vintage and unique plates.

Make yourself a reservation! It's high quality food in a low-key atmosphere. The menu is limited but absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp small plate to start and then went spitskies with the burger and scallops for dinner. Every bite was delicious and I cannot wait to go back! The couple next to us seemed like regulars and advised to keep coming back because the menu changes. Looking forward to our next stop here!

So disappointed that we spent $400 yet we were charged a &12 "surcharge". The 4% is cost of doing business. .

The hotel is beautiful and it felt like every single piece of furniture and decorations were chosen intentionally. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the phenomenal, friendly and attentive service from manager Emily. Truly a gem of a person, and made sure everything we needed was available. Would also like to highlight that Emily reached out even before our stay begun to ask if we needed anything upon arrival or had any questions. All requests were met and Emily was prompt to answer all questions. I would highly recommend The James Bradley to anyone thinking of visiting. If you're looking for a quick vacation out of this city, this is the place, so easy to get to, the town has wonderful restaurants/bars and the beach was beautiful (even if it was too cold to hang out). Can't wait to find a reason to return.

I'm all for minimalism but there needs to be functionality behind it. As for breakfast; more gluten free options please! And the soft boiled eggs we chose were either cooked too hard or way undercooked. The yogurt and fruit was delicious! Our server was great.

We ordered the honey vanilla pecan stuffed French toast, the lemon blueberry stuffed French toast, and the Bavarian cream stuffed French toast. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. This place is located on the corner and parking appears to be street parking only. I stopped by around 11:30 and was able to be seated immediately. They have bar seating which is first come first serve as well as tables throughout. Bar seating was much quicker. After about 5 mins my waitress came and took my order. Challah French Toast, Homefries and Bacon. 15/20 minutes go by and my food came. The Homefries are a good portion. They are seasoned well. The bacon was warm and crispy as well. The challah French toast was delicious. I enjoyed my meal overall. Overall this is a good place that met my expectations. The food was as expected and the portion size was good as well. They do charge a fee for using your card as shown on my receipt. A tad bit tacky to me but I understand.

My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon in June. The taproom felt spacious with natural light, and was well decorated with off-white walls and interesting plant decor. Definitely a relaxing and welcoming vibe. The place was decently crowded but not overwhelmingly so for most of our time there. We love dogs and they had a ton of dogs inside, so we were in heaven. 10 beers on tap, plus one seltzer, and a nice variety in the list. I liked that the list was broken down by types of beers (easy drinking and crisp, hoppy and hazy, dark and strong), and each beer had a detailed description next to it. This should honestly be the norm for breweries. We each had a flight so we were able to sample most of the menu. The beer was pretty good. We enjoyed all that we had, but nothing stood out to us as super memorable. We live on the other side of NJ, so we can't be regulars, but we would definitely stop by again the next time we're in the area.

We had several dishes... to start for kids, fish and chips and the salmon with rice. The fish and chips were excellent!!! fries came out hot and very crunchy, and there were two huge pieces of fish that were perfectly battered, crispy, and tasted very fresh. The salmon was also very well cooked and delicious. The scallops were cooked just right and were delicious with the mushrooms. The mussels were also extremely fresh and very, very good. We also really enjoyed the fried calamari. But the star for us was definitely the lobster BLT. It came with a huge amount of lobster meat, which was amazing and really made the sandwich stand out. The service was excellent as well. Everyone was very attentive and always on top of refills, checking on our food, and making sure we had everything we needed.
