Large Reuben, the best of the best

I went with a friend of mine today to get the large Reuben and oh my God it was out of this world. I highly recommend anybody that wants to get a real good Reuben go to Kelly's.. the dessert I had was an Oreo cake. that was great. The service was great. We had Jesse as our server and I recommend anybody going to Kelly's ask for Jesse.. I highly recommend this Irish pub style restaurant. Great menu.

Went with four of my friends on March 13 to hear the bagpipers. The place is packed. The parking lot is filled over onto other lots. The food was good. For friends had the prime rib. I had the very bland, corned beef and cabbage with boiled potatoes, which the potatoes weren't peeled completely so it was very hard to cut open. Yes I'm talking about the potatoes. Very festive place, the bagpipers go around the bar and play and stop at each corner, which was great then they took a break. Then they put the jukebox on then the bagpipers started to play and the jukebox was still on. Service was very good. Upon asking for a to go box, she handed it right across my girlfriend's face, then walked around her and picked up a plate! We were a half an hour out called. They do not take reservations, but for a table of five there was two left and they had one ready for us. Took my corned beef home, added some pickling spices in it and it was delicious! The bathroom was extremely tight. They did have a handicap bathroom, but everybody was moving around like we were on a chessboard.

Very cool Irish pub. Huge bar area and they have outside seating if you prefer. Personally I would much rather sit inside with the bar area they have, just for the atmosphere alone. The food was very good.....I had the open meatloaf sandwich which was good and there was zero chance of me finishing, it was huge. My friends got the Reuben and they both enjoyed it. The service was great. We were seated and served very quickly. If you're on your way down the shore and want traditional Irish food and a quick drink this is a great stop.

Came with a bunch of friends and it was my first visit. We stopped in for a drink and load up on food before hitting the next spot. We shared a bunch of appetizers; loaded nachos, blooming onion, grilled wings with Thai chili sauce, pretzels with super hot mustard and spinach and artichoke dip. Always very good and the service was great. Unfortunately we left just when the guy was going to start playing but seems like a great spot to sit on the patio and spend some time.

Another great meal at Kelly's Corner Tavern. Kevin was our server and he was excellent. The food was delicious as always. I had the French onion Soup and the mini Reuben which hit the spot. My husband enjoyed his food as well. They also had live music which was a lot of fun. I need to come here more often. If you haven't been, it's a must try for good Irish pub food.

First time getting pizza not bad at all and well it's the platter .just wish I had butter with the rye and cooked a little less.

I really don't know how this place stays so consistently good year after year. Great again tonight. Get the Rubin!!!! My wife also loved the Shepard pie!

I love the food at Kelly's. The Rueben sandwich is my favorite. They even have some great sushi.

Like nachos but they use kettle chips rather than tortilla chips. A baked Reuben dip (a special)--so cheesy and savory! A soft baked pretzel--perfect for sharing. Came with a spicy mustard! Then came the real Irish classics -- Irish sausage rolls--thick sausage wrapped in a pastry, a great comfort snack. Shepherds pie--a mix of ground beef and lamb. This was savory and perfect for a cold March day! Fish and chips--the BIGGEST fish ever and it was so light and battered well. And if you're a sandwich person, you have to try The Rail Bender which was a huge sandwich with mouthwatering beef brisket, and came with a savory au jus for dipping. For drinks, we went full Irish with their St. Paddy's day specials: Irish Lucky Charm, Irish Maid, and a Jameson Orange Creamsicle that tasted like dessert. If you're looking for the perfect spot to celebrate St. Patrick's Day all year round, this place absolutely delivers. The service was warm and friendly and was a welcoming place in Spring Lake!

Sandwiches had dried out meat like it sat too long in the fridge. Edible but kind of like they were stretching to make a profit. Keep that that theme in mind as they also charge a credit card fee. If you are willing to overlook the cut corners and additional fees, I guess it's better than eating pop tarts at home.

Three friends and a lovely day at the beach. We went for dinner before heading back up north and…read moredecided to try someplace we've never been. Plenty of spots in the parking lot and easy to pay for 2 hours on the app - signs don't say what time the "meters" go off, but with 2 restaurants sharing the lot, we figured you probably have to pay until at least 8 pm, and we were early (5:30 ish). Got seated quickly, in a booth near a wide opening out to the beautiful patio on the water. Rather warm in the restaurant and there were overhead fans that weren't rotating, but it wasn't uncomfortable. We'd have had to wait a bit for an outdoor table, and anyway it was a hot humid day and night so indoors suited us just fine. One friend had the lobster bisque, served with a good chunk of a bread that looked tasty (she's not a bread lover but she enjoyed it so it must have been delicious) and she really liked the soup. Then she added another appetizer, spicy garlic shrimp. Generous portion of 6 shrimp. My other friend had the crabcake & shrimp plate, which came with a side salad that our waitress was savvy enough to bring first when our other friend was enjoying her soup. Some crumbled feta on the side salads, a nice touch. When she ordered, my friend asked if the crabcake had a lot of breading and our server assured her that it doesn't; that turned out to be accurate! I also got that side salad with the Ahi tuna bowl I ordered. This was a bowl of dry, bland white rice (might have been jasmine rice but not strong flavor). On one side atop the rice was a good portion of seaweed salad, which I love. Piled sort-of artistically on the other side of the rice mound were several small slices (6? 7?) of perfectly "black and blue" tuna crusted with both black and white sesame seeds. The fish and salad were delicious but not terribly filling. I ate most of the rice. I noticed that there was a marinade at the bottom and began to mix the rice with the marinade that was tasty. They do add 2.5% for credit cards, but that's fair enough these days. Entrées are on the pricey side, I thought ($39. for the crab/shrimp dish, 32 for my tuna, 12 for the lobster bisque), but there aren't any bargains dining out these days. We had no complaints, other than my somewhat dry rice. I'd like to give it 3 1/2 stars but will err on the generous side. We'll probably return next year on our beach day!

Its on the water, so we waited for an outside table. We only waited about 25 mins on a very busy night (we were quoted 45) which I was pleased by. The tuna nachos were my favorite bite of the night. The plate was giant to share and the flavors were delicious. I got the shrimp and lobster pasta and if you are considering that, I would pass. The shrimp had a funny, almost lemon essense flavor. The lobster was tasty (can't really mess up lobster). The pasta however was mucky in my opinion. The pasta itself was broken so it wasn't easy to twirl and the flavor was just very bland. My friends got the salmon and the shrimp. Both looked delicious. I do have to mention that we did love that the entrees came with a side salad. Overall it was a lovely spot. Absolutely beautiful there. Hang at the outside bar as you wait for your table!

The building is in the National Historic Registry. (Cool Ambiance) This Ale House is humongous with at least two to three bars. The interior was really colorful with upbeat wall to wall murals. In addition, you'll see some cool stuff like an old-fashioned telephone booth and signage. For fun, there's a small arcade area with timed basketball and air hockey in one area of the ale house. (Service & Food) Natasha was our wonderful and caring server. A bottle of cold water and glasses w/ice were brought to the table. We ordered soft drinks to start out. For lunch, we ordered a Grilled Chicken Avocado BLT and a Caprese Sandwich. Both sandwiches had wonderful fresh ingredients. Each platter came with a small air fryer container of spicy chips. The bacon on my sandwich was nice and crispy. Just the way I like it. : D The manager Nicole came to check in on our table along with others. We told her everything was great.
