    Beer!

Packed house on Saturday afternoon for Bradley Brew's 5th anniversary party! We visit Bradley every summer, have been coming to BBP since they opened, and cannot say enough good things about them. Great beer, great setting, great people! Tried a few of their latest releases: Bradley Saison, Sunny Vibes (NE IPA), and Unicorn Girls 5th (NE IPA - my fave this time!).

This place is a treasure!!! Truly an outstanding brewery. I am a huge hazy IPA fan, can't get enough of the stuff and Bradley Brew Project has one of the best I have tried. Served in mason jars, this tiny resort-side brewery packs a lot of character into not just a beer, but into a room. The place is so cute, where do you even look? The service was great, the staff was friendly and even though the place filled up the folks working the bar kept everything moving and grooving. Just a heads up, this is a resort community. If it rains, this place could get packed just like it was on the day we visited. This might mean seating is limited, however, the beer is worth standing for.

Had an awesome Sunday at the BBP. Sadly many of the taps were down today due to some renovations - but that didn't take away from the experience as the staff was super friendly in sharing what was available. They also had a ton of options in cans. They have an awesome indoor/outdoor concept. Pets are allowed. The Bradley saison was my choice of beer and it was delicious. You can buy cans and packs to take home. They even let you mix and match flavors. They have a tv inside and games outdoor. They also sell fun items by other small businesses. Really enjoyed this spot!

BRADLEY BEACH: we are so happy that Bradley Brew Project allows leashed dogs because it is such a cool place to hang out and enjoy craft beers. Dogs are allowed to sit by the garage doors when they are open or out on the back patio. Reservations are highly recommended as they fill up fast and you can make them on their website or give them a call. A member of the team will provide table service (no bar seating) and you can view the menu through a QR code. The beers are good and we enjoyed the "Boo Boo Friend", a pumpkin spiced dunkel and "That's Not a Donkey," a light and sweet beer. Bring your own food from one of the many nice restaurants downtown! Here is a link to their Covid19 policies that includes some age restrictions: https://www.bradleybrew.com/covid19policies

Great beer and great staff! You can also make reservations for inside and outside online.

Great beer! Bartenders/servers are very helpful and accommodating. They have quite a few beers on draft, a few more in cans, and some seltzers that rotate in. With both indoor and outdoor seating so it is a great spot to hangout no matter the weather. Reservations are not required, but I'd recommend making one online. They have an awesome little board with prepaid "a beer for..." Tickets where you can leave a beer for someone who has had a hard day, lost someone to COVID, adopted a pet, is named John, etc

This place had a lot going for it, with minor detractions. First off, the beer: excellent IPA and pale ales, very citrus heavy and juicy. In other words, my kinda beer. The prices were great too, for the quality! One of the top 3 breweries in this area of NJ, if I do say so Second, the space: excellent for covid gatherings, the dining room had floor to ceiling windows that opened to let air in! And the backyard where we sat was spacious enough, although the view was nothing special. I saw a giant connect four that was not being used, so this place has some games to play too. Third, the service: meh. They were not attentive and only came after the initial order 3 times in 1.5 hours. They were very busy with a full house, so cutting them some slack. Last, the bathrooms: clean and spacious and smelled nice. This is rare in a brewery so I took note!

What a small little gem in Bradley Beach. We stumbled into it when walking to Skratch Kitchen. They are brewing all sorts of beers here and they all had their unique taste to them. I can't remember what we had but I suggest getting the four beer flight this way you can taste a few different ones. You order the beer at the counter and sit wherever. We also saw people bringing food in so I guess they allow that. Awesome place! I will be back.

Flight. You can get a "house flight," too, which I thought is efficient.

A couple years have gone by since my last visit. Some things have changed for the better, and they deserve to be updated. The brewery does not feel overly busy anymore. It's actually a quaint, sophisticated little place. While some breweries might be a little rugged, this one would be still a nice place to bring a date. Both women and men should enjoy it. Bradley Beach has gotten more gentrified. There are lots of restaurants and shops right on the same strip now. This brewery fits right in. It's a nice place to spend the afternoon or evening. The beers remain light and approachable. Since it's not a huge facility, they continually brew. So, the beers will be fresher than at other places. Their bar has basically turned into a counter now. You just need to take a seat at a table.

Bradley Brew Project is a fun spot to try delicious beer. The atmosphere is very inviting and the location is a great place to relax with friends. There's a nice back patio area with additional seating if you are looking for some outdoor seating. Since it was my first time, I ordered a flight to sample the the various beers on tap. I had Unicorn Girls (Hazy Pale Ale), But I Forgot my Flip Flops (Pina Colada IPA), Bradley Summer (Summer Ale), and Mystic Griffen (Imperial IPA). My favorite was the Unicorn Girls which is the brewery's staple. All beers were tasty. But I Forgot My Flip Flops was really unique and tasted tropical with pineapple and coconut notes. The bartenders and service were top notch. Overall, I'd recommend checking this place out!

I arrived here only to be greeted by two musicians warming up in the open entrance way. Early evening on the weekend. The place had a lively crowd and a very friendly staff. The beer menus were nicely placed on the bar and flight choice requests were aside. I got to taste a few choices, one being a Fruity sour and the other a Saison. I had both.......excellent choices on my part. The brewery is located on the East side of Main St in the center of town. I didn't see any food vendors in the area. The ambiance is minimal and well maintained.

Very nice and chill brewery in Bradley Beach. I had a flight with a wide variety of beer; their stout is really rich.

Best new brewery we have been to in NJ this year. Amazing beer selection, including one gluten free. I had to try. Delicious. Coffee stout, yes. Three IPAS yes. A banana flavored beer? Yes and good. Pretzels. Most importantly, fabulous Main Street type setting. Lots of folks all around. Have heard this is owned by young couple, wow. Nice place and good beers. Felt this place was about visitors and community members. And very good variety of beers. Banana infused. Yep.

We went here on a Thursday afternoon and it was quiet and a relaxing environment. I was able to plug my computer in and get some work done while enjoying a beer with my fiancé. They have a decent selection of beers on tap and the double unicorn girl was delicious. The owner was working next to us and it was a pleasure getting to know him. The bathroom was child friendly and had a changing table which made it so much easier with my daughter. Great atmosphere! Make sure to make a reservation if you go on the weekend.

The taproom is on another level as well. One might say it resembles a millennial hipster fever dream, but being a millennial myself I say it is incredibly well thought out and designed. Housed in a former manufacturing facility for a company that made military telecommunications equipment, there are so many different spaces all under one roof. A bar in the front room and a bar in the back room. A small 21+ lounge with couches in the front, and a giant 21+ "sports zone" with three giant TV's in the back. Three coolers for beer to go. A large merch area. High top tables. Regular tables. Immaculate bathrooms. This place has it all. My girlfriend and I came out on a Saturday afternoon when the place was packed with families and their kids. There was a toddler in the small 21+ lounge and a baby in the sports zone, and only two people pouring beers so they were unable to notice and do anything about it. We don't mind kids in breweries but be advised if that isn't your thing. To the beer: according to their website, they specialize in hoppy beers. There were 13 beers on tap (with some being slight variations of each other). One lager, four stouts, and the rest IPAs. They don't do flights but will pour you two sample sizes at a time, and you'll need those sample sizes for most beers because the ABV will knock you off your feet. I love IPAs and I can easily say they knocked these out of the park. The standout to me was the Birdie Putt, which they didn't have available in cans to go, so we got a four pack of the Ground Rule Triple instead. Founder Jeff Baker spent years honing his brewing skills in his garage before opening the brewery in 2023, and his dedication and passion really show in all of the beers. We live over an hour away, but we will definitely make the pilgrimage back sometime soon.

If this brewery were in Hopewell, Troon wouldn't stand a chance…read more This place clearly specialises in hazy IPAs, and it shows in both quality and range. The tap list is smartly organised by style--pale ale, IPA, double IPA, triple IPA, and even quad IPA--making it easy to navigate whether you want something approachable or fully saturated. On my visit there were also a handful of non-IPA options, including three stouts and two lagers, one of which was a dark lager, so there's still something for everyone. The space itself sets it apart: a large, open taproom with ample seating, plus a second taproom ideal for hosting events. There's a strong to-go game as well, with two coolers packed with cans. In warmer months, the outdoor areas add even more room to spread out and linger. Clean, well-maintained bathrooms round things out. A destination brewery that takes hazy IPA seriously and backs it up with the space and execution to match.

The tuna tartar tasted fresh, and I liked that the tuna was in chunks rather than minced. It came on a bed of rice and avocado and was served with fried wonton skins. There was also a sweet sauce drizzled over it (like eel sauce), which I didn't really think was necessary, but it was okay. I enjoyed my lobster very much, although I was surprised to see that there was roe in it (which I thought was forbidden from an eco standpoint). My husband liked his sea bass, but he struggled with the oysters since none of them were properly shucked (he had to take a knife to them to properly remove them from their shells). That was pretty disappointing for a seafood restaurant. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Overall not a bad experience but there is definitely some room for improvement.

It is not a scene that stirs the soul or quiets the mind, but it is fine for staring at when there is nothing else to do. I came for lunch on a weekend, early enough to avoid the mob that usually descends later in the day. Getting a table was easy. Finding a parking space was not. It is always the same story there, a little game of musical bumper cars. When I made it inside, I found the tables to be sticky in the way that suggests they had been wiped down but not really cleaned. The servers moved with the slow grace of people who had already given up on the afternoon. They were not rude, just absent in spirit. I ordered the fried oysters because it seemed like something they ought to do well. They were fine, in the way that lukewarm applause is fine. Not offensive, not memorable. The breading was heavy, the flavor lost somewhere between the fryer and the plate. For the price, one expects a little magic, or at least a spark of care. Neither arrived. Klein's feels like a place living off its own legend, a faded postcard from better days. People go because they have always gone. The fish is there, the view is there, but the heart of it seems to have gone missing. It is not terrible, but it is not worth the time or the money either. Three stars, mostly for nostalgia.

But I think we caught them on an extremely off night. We had a reservation and came in on time. We were told to sit down and that another waiter would come by to show us to our table. We waited for ten minutes before we were seated, and in that time another bigger party came in and were seated before us. Even when we were seated, the new waiter said he thought we were just waiting for appetizers, and didn't realize we even needed a table. Had we not said anything, we would have been waiting even longer to be seated even with the reservation. We quickly placed our drink and food orders, and this is when service continued to decline. It was clear that there were only two waiters for the smaller dinning room, and yet they were doing a little bit of everything. Our first waitress was also folding silverware, moving clean dishes back to the kitchen, and checking in on the entire dining room. Our second waiter was also the bartender, food runner, and table buser. Needless to say, they needed more hands on deck. I know they were doing their best, but an hour to get our food is really ridiculous. And in that time we were not checked on for water refills or just to ask if we needed anything. Even when our food came out, we had to stop one of the two waiters and ask about the food. Only then, after a few more minutes did they get the food from the kitchen. While not shown in the picture, we got the brussel sprouts and carrot appetizer. This was the only food item we were kind of disappointed with as we couldn't really taste any sriracha, and felt we could have made something similar at home. Other than that, when our three main dishes finally did come out, they were served hot and everything was cooked very well. We all really enjoyed the food we ordered. Really good, but also not out-of-this-world like the price and reviews suggested. In the end, the service was just extremely slow and the price of the food was very high (about $30 per person for three people plus two drinks about $15 each), making it very hard to justify the overall experience. And even though the food was really good, I would not say it was worth going through the extremely long wait.
