That being said, it's probably best that I don't have that option. :) It's such a fun place with really unique and delicious beers and seltzers. I love the artwork and decor and love that they promote and feature local artists/musicians. They are also really dog friendly, and our boy Tito felt so welcomed and loved. Shout out to Rob, who is such a great guy (in addition to being a skilled and knowledgeable brewmaster). We look forward to coming back the next time we are in the area!

The result is a thoughtfully crafted brewery that is both creative and welcoming and they are just as excited to see your pup walk through the door as you are. Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome inside the stylish tasting room and out back on the patio. For such a new spot, the tap list is impressively well-rounded. Our standout was the Duke of Nowhere dark mild, smooth, flavorful, and effortlessly drinkable. The Wasp's Nest DIPA, a collaboration with Oakflower Brewing, brings a bold, unique twist, while the Looking for Pancake imperial stout delivers just the right touch of sweetness without going overboard. We also had the chance to chat with Dan, one of the owners and brewers, whose excitement is as fresh as the pours. It is clear this space is more than just a brewery, it's a playground for creativity, experimentation, and great beer. Cheers!

It gives off winery vibes in that it…read morehas a ton of outdoor space with a variety of seating: high top tables, low top, Adirondack chairs around fire pits, a large pavilion next to a small outdoor bar... it's all quite beautiful and peaceful. The taproom, by contrast, is a fraction of the size of the outdoor space, but equally well decorated and chill. Several high top tables, a few seats at a small bar, a view of the brewing tanks... Most importantly the beer is excellent. My girlfriend and I stopped in on an early Friday afternoon in August and had a few 4 and 7 oz pours of different beers. Tall Oaks recently won a few awards in the inaugural New Jersey Brewers Cup, so we tried a few of their award winning beers, among others. My personal two favorites were the Cottage (English Session Ale on nitro) which won bronze in the European amber/dark lager category, and the Influencing Hope (hazy IPA) which won bronze in the hazy IPA category. One nitpicky thing: the tv displayed only part of the menu, and the full menu was printed on several stained and natty sheets of paper on clipboards. Didn't quite match the elegance elsewhere in the brewery. On top of the great vibes and great beer, there is ample parking, two immaculate bathrooms, friendly service and great people at the helm (Mike and Chelsey) who put real thought and pride into their beer and creating a space for the community. This is definitely one of the top breweries in NJ.

When we arrived at the three-story space, we immediately headed up to the rooftop first. The top floor was open to the elements and overlooked a strip mall just below, but with a further gaze, we were able to see the Shark River. There was a bar and a few tables, as well as a lounge area with couches and cushioned armchairs, which we were thankfully able to snag. The layout was fun and allowed us to converse with other patrons sitting across the coffee table from us. The one thing I did not love about the roof, however, was that it functioned as almost an entirely different venue. Meaning that they had only a few small plates for food options and very few beers on tap. They did not even offer flights, but focused mainly on cocktails. Fine, I had a mixed drink with mezcal, Aperol, and watermelon, which was an excellent smoky and sweet margarita, but I had wanted to sample their beers since it was a brewery. After our initial round of drinks, we decided to head down to the second floor, rustic taproom to sample more of their menu. The place was packed with diners, but, since we did not have a reservation, we were nervous that we would not receive a table. Thankfully, two seats opened at the bar, so we grabbed those. Unfortunately, by that point, I did not want to drink anymore, so I did not get to try their beers (except a sip of the Swell, which was a bit too hoppy of a hazy IPA for my liking), but I was hungry enough to get a dinner entree. The friendly bartender took our order and ensured all of our customizations were noted, but the food still wound up awful. I had selected the Tzatziki Salmon with the yogurt sauce on the side. The fish was cooked well, but way too heavily salted. It was served with orzo that was overcooked, dry, bland, and stuck together in clumps. I was shocked they even served something that looked so unappetizing. There were also a bunch of roasted brussels sprouts that had a funny flavor and appeared to have been previously frozen. Then, when I thought it could not get any worse, the tzatziki seemed curdled, so I was glad that I had ordered it on the side. My partner's burger came with a single piece of bacon that was all fat and not even remotely crispy. While the food was terrible, the service was nice, and I really enjoyed my cocktail and the vibe at the Beach Haus Brewery, so I decided to give it 3 stars, but I am clearly being generous.

The cover band and decorations were impeccable. It does get cramped as the night goes on so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. Our drinks took maybe 10 minutes because there was an issue with one of the ingredients but the bartender gave us complimentary shots to make up for it (totally not needed, but definitely appreciated).
