A new brewery in the Boro, a first. Wow, I didn't have to pay to park, which happens to be located across the street from Community Park. This brewery opened in June '17. The staff was very friendly. Having frequented many breweries in the Shore area, I was surprised that I never heard this advertised on social media or for that matter, any means. The decor is very Jersey Shore..... I was given the obligatory tour which for a small area took place in 30 sec. $7 got me a flight of beers, 2 dark, and 2 blonde. For my taste I loved the Amber Apple Pie Ale. The other 3 will remain nameless. The reason for 3stars is that other than the AAAA, the ambiance did not "click" for me.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the raspberry hibiscus sour and it was delicious. My friends ordered flights and they were both pleased. The environment was laid back and the owners were extremely friendly!

    Delicious Beer!

Great spot, a hidden gem in the community especially on crowded weekends! Staff is always friendly, and there are tons of beers to chose from. Clean environment, great place to bring a pizza and spend time with friends!

We had a hella rad time chilling at Icarus recently…read more Sam was a fantabulous beertender; stellar knowledge with passion and enthusiasm + fun af to talk with + hella friendy and sweet. Thanks Sam! They have BEER SLUSHIES!! Highly recommend. So many great beers accompanied with excellent data on each one. Hooray for spreadsheets; they can indeed be used for awesome! Burger 25 next door delivers to Icarus for free. They have rad salads as well as burgers. Make sure to ask for condiments and napkins but if they forget Icarus does have napkins available on the first floor to the left of the bathrooms (which were sparkling clean fwiw). I wish they were closer to my stomping grounds but theyre definitely worth making a special trip for. Great prices and good happy hour as well. I can easily fully endorse their awesomeness. PS I heard there's really good Indian food right down the street. If Sam is there you can ask her about it, and remind her to find and try some Dosas!

They have been at their "new" Brick location since 2024. The Icarus Brewing Company's Mug Membership Club is a year long special that includes a free mug, 10% off drafts (whether you take it to go or enjoy it on-site), 10% off all merchandise, including clothing, tumblers, and glassware (that Feather Falling glass is mine!), $2 off the first pour of every month, and, to top it all off, a barrel-aged bottle of their latest release. They text my husband when it's ready, and he heads over to pick it up. Needless to say, he was a happy hubby when I gifted him this gift. Their wonderful crew staffs the taproom and they keep the place immaculate. The atmosphere remains incredibly relaxed with ample seating available, both indoor and outdoor. Special area for kids and doggies to burn off energy during warmer weather. Next door is a burger spot if you want something to eat while enjoying your beer. Every beer they offer is solid, with a wide variety to choose from. My personal favorite is Drinking Crayons.

The taproom is on another level as well. One might say it resembles a millennial hipster fever dream, but being a millennial myself I say it is incredibly well thought out and designed. Housed in a former manufacturing facility for a company that made military telecommunications equipment, there are so many different spaces all under one roof. A bar in the front room and a bar in the back room. A small 21+ lounge with couches in the front, and a giant 21+ "sports zone" with three giant TV's in the back. Three coolers for beer to go. A large merch area. High top tables. Regular tables. Immaculate bathrooms. This place has it all. My girlfriend and I came out on a Saturday afternoon when the place was packed with families and their kids. There was a toddler in the small 21+ lounge and a baby in the sports zone, and only two people pouring beers so they were unable to notice and do anything about it. We don't mind kids in breweries but be advised if that isn't your thing. To the beer: according to their website, they specialize in hoppy beers. There were 13 beers on tap (with some being slight variations of each other). One lager, four stouts, and the rest IPAs. They don't do flights but will pour you two sample sizes at a time, and you'll need those sample sizes for most beers because the ABV will knock you off your feet. I love IPAs and I can easily say they knocked these out of the park. The standout to me was the Birdie Putt, which they didn't have available in cans to go, so we got a four pack of the Ground Rule Triple instead. Founder Jeff Baker spent years honing his brewing skills in his garage before opening the brewery in 2023, and his dedication and passion really show in all of the beers. We live over an hour away, but we will definitely make the pilgrimage back sometime soon.

If this brewery were in Hopewell, Troon wouldn't stand a chance…read more This place clearly specialises in hazy IPAs, and it shows in both quality and range. The tap list is smartly organised by style--pale ale, IPA, double IPA, triple IPA, and even quad IPA--making it easy to navigate whether you want something approachable or fully saturated. On my visit there were also a handful of non-IPA options, including three stouts and two lagers, one of which was a dark lager, so there's still something for everyone. The space itself sets it apart: a large, open taproom with ample seating, plus a second taproom ideal for hosting events. There's a strong to-go game as well, with two coolers packed with cans. In warmer months, the outdoor areas add even more room to spread out and linger. Clean, well-maintained bathrooms round things out. A destination brewery that takes hazy IPA seriously and backs it up with the space and execution to match.

It has a slightly upscale feel while still being comfortable and welcoming. The beers are well-crafted, and you can tell there's a lot of attention to detail in both the flavors and presentation. I tried a few different options, and while most were really enjoyable, a couple didn't stand out as much as I expected. That said, there's still a strong variety, and it's a great place to explore different styles. Overall, it's a great brewery with a solid lineup and an awesome environment. Definitely a place I'd come back to and recommend if you're in the Colts Neck area.

Know that Colts Neck is a bubble. If you're simply catering to the dullards going to golf at Hitler's Links next door, you could lay it in a little thicker. Make a nice wink out of it, something like a "I sit in the chair at the hotel and watch" Cherries and Berries sour. If this is really who you are - I will miss your decent lagers but Wild Air has you beat on most styles. I am going to save a can of your 9/11 themed IPA (talk about tasteless, shameless marketing) as an homage to your brainless, jingoistic hubris.
