Stumbled on this place as my friend and I were looking for a new winery experience! We weren't really sure what mead was but learned it was honey based wine! This place was a great experience! They have wide selection of ciders and meads to choose from. We did the $15 tasting which you got to choose any 4 ciders and/or meads to try. We liked that it was mix and match and not just one or the other. I tried the agave mead, peach and guava cider, and hula mead. They were all delicious but the tasting helped me determine that I'm more of a cider girl than mead! The service was great and the space was really cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating with music playing throughout the space. This was the perfect Sunday activity. Will definitely be coming back again

We tried 5 different kinds - all were great. Never had mead before but all of these flavors were super unique in their own ways. Place has games and can bring food to hangout too.

So now I've been to this place 2 times and it got better the second time. Don't ask me how. Well maybe I tried way more then I should have but I was safe in the passenger seat. No driving for this guy. If you choose to head to beach bee prepare to have your taste bloods blown . There are so many ciders to choose from and if you mix it with mead to make a bee sting it's like a whole new drink. Man I love this spot.

i am a huge fan of mead but i've struggled to find good mead in any local liquor stores. So I was absolutely thrilled to find Beach Bee! I came in with my sister to try it out and I was so impressed. First off, the women behind the bar were so friendly and extremely helpful! they gave us some info about their meads and ciders and helped us pick out our choices for the flights. Their selection of different flavors was perfect for all different tastes! I particularly loved their Key Lime Mead it was the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. We also loved the Apricot Sage cider. There was also board games to choose from so you could play games while drinking! We ended up getting several meads and ciders to go so we could enjoy at home as well! I will definitely be returning, this is a perfect place to go with friends and even a date! Definitely stop by if you get the chance!

We stopped by this little spot for some pre-Halloween festivities. They have a solid selection of mead and ciders. There were 2 frozen ciders available, as well as some small snack packs in case you want something to munch on while having a drink. The lady that served us was extremely friendly and helpful. She explained that they try to rotate several options on the menu a month. The seasonal pumpkin pie mead was surprisingly delicious and had a depth of flavors. Our group ordered 3 flights and enjoyed most of our selections. They also have some games on the premises for you to entertain yourself with if you want to hang out for a while. Definitely a spot we wouldn't mind coming back to if we're in the area.

I don't normally drink cider but thought we'd check it out and see what "mead" is all about. My take away is Mead was something pirates and Vikings drank way back in the day ? Very dog friendly which is why we went for a first impression. Pretty good range of nice selection of ciders and mead (including a rotating frozen ones ). The mead we had was very good (bourbon based). A flight of 4 cost $15. Service was and the place is very chill. Even outdoor ambience looked nice. L

First time trying mead. We were in the area for our dog's birthday and we were looking for dog friendly places we can go. Love a place that is welcoming to dogs. Personally, we realized mead may not be for us since it was quite sweet. But, we both enjoyed the pumpkin mead out of the ones we tried. I liked that they had games that we can play. The ambience is welcoming, they have a few tables and you end up chatting with the other tables since the dogs help to initiate conversation. It's a place that is easy to miss, we first thought it was closed. It was a fun way to end the night

    Each flight is $10

Service: everyone was really friendly and was willing to explain to my friend the ingredients regarding her allergy Space: both indoor and outdoor seating! Dog friendly in both places. There are also board games as well. I would come back again to try the mead! Their cider was delicious but on the sweeter side.

This is an awesome Meadery with a great environment that is very laid back and fun. The staff and owner are very friendly and go out of their way to make your experience good. The meads and ciders that they have here are very unique and all very tasty. We had a flight of the meads and ciders and each had its own amazing flavor. My personal favorite was the shrews berry mead and the white tea ginger cider. The flights are brought to you at your table and while you drink there are many games that are availible to play. The place itself is really clean and definitely a solid local spot to try. I will be back!

This place is great!! I heard about the meadery a while back from people, but hadn't gotten the chance to visit. I'm so glad I finally did, and it is such a hidden gem in Long Branch. I love mead, and was very excited to try out what they have. They have such fun and creative flavors, and a flight was the best way to try them out. I really enjoyed their ciders as well, and loved the blueberry pomegranate and apricot sage. This is an adorable space to hang out in, and I loved the palm trees all over and beachy ambiance. It's also really cool to see all the equipment in the back for making the mead. The people working here were super friendly and gave great recommendations for what to try. When my friend asked the lady behind the counter to surprise her with flight options, the lady asked a few questions to guide the selections and picked out some really great ones! The bee sting drinks, a mix of cider and mead, are also great. I will definitely be back to try any new flavors here, and get more of the ciders!

We had a great time... great atmosphere and the beers were delish.. they have games to play andddd they are Animal friendly

Brie is at the brand new Beach Bee Meadery's dog friendly tasting room in Long Branch! Beautiful tasting room and delicious and fun meads!

LONG BRANCH: The 1st meadery in Monmouth county, @beachbeemeadery is now open and dog friendly! Located in a beautifully renovated building, the tasting room has a relaxing energy with a view into the production area. For a brand-new place, they have a nice menu of over 9 meads and 3 ciders available. We spent a lot of time talking with the father and son owners (Jackson and Curtis) and it is truly incredible how much they have accomplished to pursue their dream and open this place! We loved everything we tasted and got excited for new recipes in development. These guys have a passion and you can tell they love what they do and it comes out in their products. In addition to tastings, you can purchase glasses, bottles, growlers, and merch. And, in case you don't know, mead is a honey wine; nice and sweet and full of flavor. There is bar counter seating and a few tables for groups. You may bring your own food or order-in from any place in the area, including Pier Village! Dogs are allowed in the tasting room and there are grassy areas outside. A free parking lot is adjacent to the left of the building and street parking is free. Also, they are less than a 5 minute drive and less than 10 minute walk from the beach! Check their Facebook and website for hours and current tap menu! If you are on Untappd, Beach Bee is holding a special event between 1/27-2/10! There will be a special hopped cider made from hops sourced from Australia and 25% of this purchase will be donated to New South Wales Rural Fire Service in Australia! Be sure to check-in on Untappd.

This might be the only meadery in New Jersey. Beach Bee has only been open for a few weeks. Mead is possibly the worlds oldest alcoholic drink made from honey and yeast with various flavors added to it. I got word thru mass media that this was near completion. So I jumped at the chance and stopped in. I met the owner, Curtis Blodgett, who has been a home brewer for years. I was generously offered tastings and a tour. Beach Bee uses true sourced honey, which is organic. Currently there are 11 flavors two of which are ciders.

There's several different seating areas indoors and outdoors. They have a few different areas where you can purchase drinks as well. Inside, you can order food.
