We booked with Tania for my daughter's bachelorette. We were seated with another group which was fine but they seemed to be regulars. Much more attention was given to the other group- fuller glasses, first dibs on the food, etc. The owner was all over them, offering to take plenty of pictures, bringing props and little gifts for their event, and making the day special. Honestly - good for them. But it was my daughter's special day too. I understand treating returning customers well but not at the expense of other guests. There were several small pieces that added up to an overall poor experience. First, we were encouraged to pay more for a certain type of vehicle that was decorated, but didn't receive that vehicle and it was not decorated. Secondly, the guide was supposed to take us to a spot where we could have snacks, but found out upon arrival that outside food wasn't allowed, so the snacks were on paper plates in a cardboard box in the van when the tour was over. Our group was mostly vegetarians, which the guide knew, but still she served us mostly meat charcuterie with some American cheese on the side. After reading negative reviews online, our group point person didn't want to let the owner, Tania, know, for fear she would call her and harass her. You can have a similar wine tasting experience and rent a van. The guide you get as part of this tour is not worth it. read more

What a fantastic experience! Tania absolutely exceeded our expectations I booked a four person tour of three wineries with Tania for a birthday celebration and the whole process was seamless. The driver she coordinated to take us from Brooklyn to upstate was professional and prompt. When we arrived at the first winery she had decorated the table and had birthday themed decorations, it was lovely. I have too many important things to say to fit into this tiny box. Please read the photos attached for my full review. TLDR; Do not use this company. They way overcharge for a very sub par unprofessional experience. Especially if you have allergies!! Tania the owner neglects your concerns and brushes them off. Apparently the only important thing to her is that she's been doing this for 10+ years. I would only give one star, but I'm giving 2 stars SOLELY because I want to positively acknowledge the owner Tania's assistant Emily and our driver Alfred who are wonderful. Emily was so nice and helpful to my party (for the small amount of time we had access to her help) and Alfred was very easily reachable, able to get to all of our stops and he had no problem stopping at a gas station when we desperately needed to use the bathroom between wineries! read more

She and I worked together to pick beautiful wineries to go to. The transportation was reliable and comfortable inside the vehicle. The little "scam artist" bus should be the new name ... A group paying $3500 would expect to be accommodated to, right ? Well, NOT WITH TANIA !!! Call me Casper because nearly five minutes after the first tour we were ignored, spoken to like peasants and robbed of our money. Unfortunately we left feeling used, embarrassed, very sober and hungry for thousands of dollars we paid. We were screamed at in the middle of the last winery that "we will get props if we come four years consecutively" meaning that our first rodeo we fend for ourselves ??? I wish i knew what exactly what i paid this company for considering we didn't see Tania for hours!! ...Not to mention I ended up sick from our lunch that I wouldn't not even serve to my dog as scraps. read more

As a senior who has worked her entire life i expected more. I'm not going to be pushed aside as if this doesn't matter. When we are promised food there should be enough for everyone. We shouldn't be scolded like children for eating one extra thing or told to share because there won't be enough. Winery excellent but personal in charge and running tour NOT GOOD AT ALL. We had a great experience celebrating my birthday with The Little Wine Bus. Everyone that worked with our party was helpful and made the experience really enjoyable and easy for all of us. Never had to really to put much work into planning because it was all taken care of for us. The only thing that I would have liked is to have gotten a little more alcohol at each of our stops considering the costs of the tour. In May, over Cinco de Mayo weekend, I hopped on the Megabus and headed to NYC to spend the weekend with one of my closest friends from UMD. It was a belated birthday weekend and engagement pre-bachelorette celebration all in one! Early Saturday morning the Little Wine Bus picked us up around 9 a.m. and we were headed to upstate New York to start the fun! Our tour guide Tania with The Little Wine Bus was amazing and kept the energy level going at every stop. She greeted us with the biggest smile, and birthday and bachelorette props. For each winery visit, Tania was ahead of our bus to make sure everything was set up to accommodate our group of 12. From the food spread including pizza and salad at Weeds, fresh apple donuts on our way to Brotherhood, chocolates at Brotherhood, and the fruit, cheese, and crackers spread at Palaia...Tania had us covered! We visited Weed Orchards and Winery in Marlboro, Brotherhood Winery (the oldest winery in America) in Washingtonville, and Palaia Vineyards in Highland Mills. Here are my takeaways from each winery. Weeds I loved the vibe at this winery and pretty sure I could've stayed there all day listening to the live music and sipping wine. I got a kick out of the huge wine glass, topped off by running into a fellow Terp. Brotherhood The tasting menu offered so many options, including Chilean wine (which I fell in love with on my study tour to Chile). I left with three bottles of Gewürztraminer (that's a tongue twister). Palaia Our final stop that provided a laid-back tasting in a private room. We recapped our trip, chatted with our guide Tanya and enjoyed the cheese, crackers and fruit tray. read more

My best friend brought me here as a birthday surprise. This is my first winery experience in New York. Th experience started with a pick up, our drivers name was Thomas.He was all sorts of amazing!!! He picked us up in a brand new vehicle, had water and goodies. Most of my winery experience has been out of the country, in Italy. I can honestly say this experience super reds any other wine tasting experience I've had in Italy and France. The energy and the passion every person put into our experience is exquisite. The wine was so good, the pizza was the best pizza I've ever had, the salad...omg amazing!! I can't wait to come here when it's warmer....I'm totally looking forward to my next experience. I'd like to share with you some of the feedback I received from our YMCA group that visited the wineries with The Little Wine Bus on Thursday, October 19th. The weather was beautiful, and it was delightful to sit outside and enjoy the fall foliage. The consensus of the group was the day was disorganized and you were understaffed. The food was delicious but sparse. We were 50 people confirmed and fully pre-paid and another 4 who paid the day of the event (something you were aware could happen.) Problems with the food included: * Only 13 pizzas were ordered (11 were in your original order and then 2 more were ordered when you realized some people didn't get any.) 13 pizzas provided 104 slices, not enough for everyone to have two slices each. The pies were on the small size as were the slices. * A buffet table would have made sense so that everyone could try both salads and both varieties of fries. Putting only one of each of those items on tables prevented people from having a choice and asking people to share between tables wasn't a good idea. Not everyone is comfortable sharing food with people they don't know or don't know well. You ordered 5 truffle fries, 5 sweet potato fries, 9 cranberry salads and 9 Caesar salads. Again, not enough to put the same on each table. * You asked for 5 people per table, yet there were only 4 bottles of water on each one. Ten tables only accommodated 50 people--we were 54. * The antipasto boards at the second stop were not enough for our group. The boards should have been put out on each table to avoid the long lines. Crackers, breadsticks, or bread should have been added as most people eat bread with meat and cheese. I thought you were joking when you told my colleague that the bread on the board was ornamental. * It would have been better to visit Manganin's first as it was further away. This would have accomplished two things: provide the antipasto first and bring us closer to home when we departed from the Warwick location after wine, lunch, and dessert. * The "bus snacks" you provided were stale. Purchasing them from the local gas station was not a good idea. It would have been lovely to have a small, but thoughtful parting gift for the group, perhaps a personalized cookie or bag of crackers. It seemed as the "snacks" were an afterthought. Finally, you were not as respectful as you should have been when someone questioned you. Telling our members, they were only allowed one slice of pizza, but could have all the doughnuts instead was condescending and certainly not appreciated. We hope you didn't treat us this way because you assumed we are seniors and wouldn't care or complain. This was a letter sent to Tania, she has yet to respond. A concerned and courteous response would have avoided this review. This further proves how little she cares about her customers. read more

Overpriced and unaccommodating. Tania doesn't pre-pay for your tasting at each location. She pays for bottles of wine and gives you very little of each. Some were literally one sip. There is no discussion on the types of wine you are tasting. Even pours the wines herself. If another group of higher importance joins, consider yourselves second class and clambering for Tania to pay attention to your group. She says that she is reserving space for each party but what she does is reserve a space and if your party doesn't fit then you aren't accommodated and need to fend for yourself. The pizza at Milea was delish but minimal. This is not a lunch. I think Tania has good intentions but over extends herself and falls short. I would not recommend this company. read more

I am so happy I came across the "The Little Wine Bus" website a few months back! I started browsing on the internet, looking for ideas of something fun to do for mother's day and found this site and it was exactly what I was looking for. I was unable to plan anything in time for mother's day but I was able to arrange for a private tour for me and 12 of my friends and family to celebrate my birthday and my mom's birthday (both in July). I wasn't really sure what to expect...I had never been to a wine tasting tour and I am honestly not much of a drinker myself, but I thought this would be really fun...and it was! The day started with our own private van, which picked us up at my house. Our driver Thomas was amazing! He was so sweet and super helpful the entire day. Oh and super patient too. My group got a bit rowdy on the ride home (think really bad karaoke in Spanish) but he still maintained a smile on his face and he took great care in asking us if we needed anything. We met our host Tania at the first stop and she was also amazing. She saved the best tables for us, made sure we knew exactly where to go and what to do, ordered our super yummy food, watched the weather the entire time so that we wouldn't get caught in the rain, etc. Tania would leave a few minutes ahead of our group to the next stop so that again, she could save the best spot for us and have the wine tastings and treats ready to go for us. Tania was super accommodating with a couple of additional requests that we had, which really were just extras that my guests wanted (and were probably not necessary) but, Tania made it happen regardless. There is really nothing that Tania didn't think of. All my guests were super happy with the service and everything that we experienced that day. Although I am not really a wine drinker, I really had a great time. The price is also a great value for everything that you get. I highly recommend "The Little Wine Bus" and will most likely book another tour next year! read more

Now this is the way to a wine tasting in style! When our friend Monique R invited us to go on this magic bus tour of wineries in Warwick Valley we did not know what to expect. All I do know if that we all scored quite a bargain on Goldstar with tickets at a big discount. Only $81 per ticket, and that included a whole long day of wine tasting at three different wineries, lunch at the first one, raffled prizes, bottled water, and snacks on the bus. Also, the bus was one of those posh new luxury tour buses, and not one of those yellow prison school buses. The lady, Tania, who runs the tours was incredibly lively and upbeat the whole day. She was terrific, and even had the bus decorated for the holidays. She took care of our crazy group's needs. All eight of us had a great time. Oh yeah, being Yelpers you know we like to eat. We came armed with bagels, cream cheese, brownies, macarons, cheese, crackers, olives, chocolates, and other good stuff. Tania has no problem with bringing food on board, and we even made a plate for the driver. The bus was packed, but we made our own little party out of it. I think some of the people around us were a bit jealous of our cornucopia of gluttony! The ride itself is great. Nice and comfortable. Each of the wineries we visited were unique and fun. From ciders to wine we tasted many varieties. Amazing photo ops and views at a few, a tour and lesson at one, lunch at the first, and souvenir wine glasses to take home. From the 9AM start to the arrival home around 7PM this was a full day of adventure. I also have to mention that there is karaoke on the bus. Oh yes! Some good. Some awful. All kind of fun though. A highlight? Monique singing Madonna's "Like A Virgin" at the top of her lungs while her parents sat right in front of her. They did not turn around once during this rendition to look at her. Awkward. (I kid Mo) On the way home the whole bus was pretty beat and quieted down. They also have movies on the bus. Tania put on Elf and then National Lampoon's Vacation. Great flicks and totally appropriate to end the day. Just a great way to spend a day with a bunch of super friends (Julia, Mel, Monique, Kristy, Stacey, Mo's cool-ass parents). If going on this bus tour be sure to check Goldstar for discounted tickets.
