I'd been here once before and loved it, so I decided to bring my girlfriends for a night out. I made a reservation just because there were four of us and I'd always rather play it safe. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. On Friday evenings, there's even live music! We enjoyed listening to the guitar player, and the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't hear each other. We all did the build your own tasting flight, which I highly recommend. We got to pick 6 wines for only $18! My favorite that I tried was the Shore House White, but all the wines were delicious. You have the option to order wine by the glass as well, which we did after our tastings. We also ordered some food to share. The bavarian pretzel board was outstanding. I sadly didn't get a picture of the smoked gouda and chorizo flatbread because of how quickly we ate it! I highly recommend this spot for a chill night out with a beautiful atmosphere and great food!
My friends and I came here on a Wednesday evening with a Groupon for four that included individual flights, wine glasses and 2 bottles of wine of our choosing. We called in advance to set our reservation and requested the last one of the day. All of us were coming from different towns and we were all met with terrible traffic that delayed us individually. The first friend to arrive was seated and Rebecca, the owner and the one who was helping us that evening, didn't exhibit any frustration or irritation at our delay. In fact, as we slowly trickled in, she was so very patient and understanding and took us well past our reservation time. Once we were all seated, she went through the menu going over every wine and taking the time to learn what our individual preferences are so she could give us suggestions catered to our palettes. She gave us time to make our choices for our flights and then went to start getting everything set up for us. Additionally, she offered us food even though it was past closing. When we pointed that out to her, she waved us off and told us not to concern ourselves and that she would be more than happy to help us with anything we might need. The wines and food was absolutely delicious. Such a superb experience. And, because we were the last reservation, we were the only ones there, so the experience was so intimate. Honestly, it was such a great experience that we are already looking to make reservations to go back. If you were thinking of trying it out, this is your sign to go for it!
My friends and I had such a great experience here! We were able to snag the last few seats around 4:30, just in time to catch some live music. Then we chose a few wines from their huge list for our tasting experience. They have everythinggg from classic red + white options, to sangria, fruit moscatos, and even ciders. We all agreed we loved the daffodil white best (a bit on the lighter/sweeter side if you like that. But not too sweet.) The staff was so friendly throughout the whole experience. My friend ordered a few bottles to go and they helped her bring them to her car which was so nice! We also loved the food, especially the flatbreads. We ordered the peach & prosciutto and the arugula mozz one - we loved them both! They also gave us a little bonus sample of our favorite wine after we finished which was such a sweet addition. We will definitely be back - thank you Tomasello!
Great wine tasting experience! The employees are very kind and friendly. It was my first time wine tasting and our server explained everything very well and had a great personality. There's seating indoors and outdoors. The inside had a much calmer quiet vibe to it. I think the outdoor seating is perfect for an evening out and for a gathering. The food looked beautiful and was a nice side to the wines. I'll definitely come here again! It's a great spot to bring family and friends, have a date, a little gathering, etc. Beautiful area as well. Only good things to say about this winery!
Great service! Great wine! Great ambiance. Staffing is nice and attentive. The use of the Groupon was very easy. Live music was also being played there. Nice intimate setting.great wine tasting . You get 5 wines to taste
I loved it. Great portions of wine, quiet yet not to quiet. Great place to enjoy a nice conversation and drink wonderful wine. They have a menu set up to make picking wine easy!
I went here on a Thursday with my friend. She had a groupon for two for a flight of 4 wines each and free glasses and a bottle of wine. Rebecca was the one serving us. She was great. She did warn us she was the only one there, so that did help us understand later, when we noticed things were sort of taking a while... but I appreciated the warning before. The wines I got for my flight... I'm listing them in the order she recommended to drink. She let us pick 5 1) 2022 Dry Reisling - golden apple, honeysuckle, meyer lemon, crisp with spicy character This was ok, a but dry for me but I was curious. 2) Daffodil White - semi dry, apricot jam, honeysuckle, almond tea cake and fig This one we both really liked and actually took a bottle home 3) Spumante - sweet, poound cake, peach sherbet, candied apricot, orange blossom honey This one was my favorite! So amazingly delicious! *** 4) Mulled Spice / Broomstick Brew - sweet red, nutmeg, allspice, jasmine, honey Served warm! This was a very special wine. I definitely recommend this one 5) butter Pecan Cream wine This was ok, tasted like creamer for coffee. It was good. We also got this yummy chorizo pepper honey flatbread which was addicting. And also, we got a small cheese board. I would go back again!
Tina's take: 9/10 Came here with a friend and it was so nice. It was very calm and pleasant. We got some food to pick on and the humid was very good as well. Would totally recommend for a great relaxing time. The lady who worked there really knew her wine! We took some wine to bring home the creamy wines are hit!!
Such lovely people serving the wine. Received great recommendations. Did the create your own wine tasting so I could try a red, whites, ice wine and cream. They were all good in their own ways. The paper did properly give the tasting notes for each. Went home with two bottles of white. Will come back to get some cream wine for sure. Ordered the burrata app. Came with grilled vegetables, bread, and balsamic vinegar. I made it into a half sandwich. Delicious.
Tomasello Winery is a hidden gem that offers a truly delightful experience. On Fridays they have live entertainment which created a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere, perfect for our date night. Their selection of wines were fantastic! I am definitely considering a trip to their vineyard in Hammonton.
One of my girlfriends and I decided to do a wine tasting and made reservations for 3:30pm. I arrived a little late because the roads were blocked and they still accommodated. When I arrived I parked on the steeet nearby. I walked in and was greeted by Josh. The place was small but so cute. He sat us outside and him and another nice young lady served us. They told us our choices and we both picked the 6 tastes from several wines and a free wine glass for $16. I went with different red wines. My friend mixed hers and got a snack board. The snack board was so big and she liked it. For my drinks my favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon. This was a really fun experience and I definitely would do it again.
This is the cutest winery in a cranford ever! My friend loves wine and everytime we hang out, wine is involved! I decided to take her to Tomasello and boy this spot did not disappoint! Tomasello was a little hard to find though, we walked passed it twice without realizing but eventually we figured it out lol. The people here are so nice and accommodating. I had appreciated how they had so many selections of wines where I didn't know which to choose from! Although my selections weren't the best, the experience here was supper fun! Their cheese board was DELICIOUS and I would recommend. It's worth the $$ here because they bless you with tons of cheese and crackers and fruits/nuts. At least between 2 ppl we were more than satisfied. As usual, we left with tons of wine bottles (yes we are alcoholics lol) and my friend really enjoyed her time here! It's what matters the most to me really. I would def recommend this place to any wine lover!
Loved our visit here. We were googling wineries in New Jersey and this place popped up on Groupon. We bought it and finally decided to test it out on a Saturday afternoon . The staff was really accommodating even though we didn't have a reservation. It's highly advisable to make a reservation with the direct location, we called the 1800 number it it said we didn't need one. We had the most amazing pesto bread and peach and ricotta flat bread. I'm so upset we didn't take a photo but it was amazing. Because this location is a tasting room, there is a limit to the wine tasting. Still a very enjoyable experience and I will definitely be returning very soon.
Came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. The entire staff is so amazing. We came to do a wine tasting which entails picking 6 different wines. It was such a fun experience. We enjoyed the flatbreads a lot. There is a smoked cheese on the charcuterie board that we all could not stop talking about. It is a perfect place for a date night or girls night. Parking is a tricky because therr isn only street parking. I am looking forward to going back. I purchased one red and one white wine. read more

Wonderful little wine shop with live music and delicious selection of wines. Enjoyed talking to server about the wine selection they offer here and from Tomasello, and although it's not spacious it offers a comfortable and relaxing brunch spot or quick snack and wine for any Saturday! read more

We drove up to Jersey for a day to spend some time with some friends and they planned a winery double date for us. It was very cute. The wine selections we had were very very good!! The 3 star rating was based on the other factors that I think could have been better. The selection of charcuterie board options was very slim. And the menu with the options was just a piece of paper cutout. It's a winery... and it looked fancy when we went in so maybe my expectation was a little higher than what it should have been. The had a case of chocolate truffles that looked good but we didn't get any. On the paper cutout, it lets you know that anything you order on that menu will automatically have a 20% gratuity added... but ummm nothing on that paper menu was more than $25 and the average price was about $7 for the small trays. I'm not sure if people from up there aren't normally tippers but okay... it's kinda sad that they are forced to do that just so the waiters can get something at the end of the night. But anyway... the fruit wines and moscato selections were *chefs kiss* delicious. We did get a few bottles to bring back with us. The experience was nice... but I'm not sure if we would go back. read more

I didn't even know they had this location. Small and nice, went with my friend who purchased a Groupon . I love Tomasello wines most are delicious. The peach and blueberry moscato a few of my favs and a new fav is the Ice wine it was so delicious. You get 5 one ounce wines. They also have food at this location and of course the delicious truffles. I love the location and the fact that I can just go in and purchase a couple of bottles if needed also our Groupon included the membership free so an additional 20 percent of wines work for me and another Tomasello glass to add to my collection. Definitely recommend and will be visiting this location again read more

We came across this place from Groupon. They have many locations to choose from. This location was pretty small but accommodating. If you do visit, please make sure you call and make reservation. The staff here are very friendly and they walk you through all the steps that makes your wine tasting experience both fun and educational. They have many food board options. We picked the burrata board that came with garlic bread, grilled red peppers, burrata, and zucchini ( delicious ). Great place for a date night. Do visit their locations, it's worth it! read more

This was a really fun date idea. They have a cute wine tasting option and you can add some small bites to snack. Ultimately the experience was nice and the servers were very sweet and helpful. The ambiance was a bit lacking and the tables are surprisingly uncomfortable and small to sit at if you're enjoying an hour long tasting. The staff was very accommodating and added a table for us without even asking and that was very much appreciated. At the end of the tasting you can leave with a bottle of wine. read more

We came here to celebrate my birthday and it was a super cute store. We got the wine tasting (and loved it so much that we got 2). Each wine tasting came with a free set of wine glasses, which was awesome. The cheese plate was also pretty solid. The hostess was super nice and even recommended some of the sweet wines to try. We left with a bottle of blueberry moscato and some ciders. Definitely a great experience! read more

Such an amazing place! The service and hospitality made our day. Very clean inside, we tried the pesto flatbread which was great and did the 6 wine tastings. They have 2 options for tastings, 5 wines and 6 wines along with a glass you get to keep if you choose the 6 wine tasting. We were given recommendations not only on wines to try but also food to try afterwards. This is such a great inexpensive activity and has extremely nice people to take care of you. read more

Went out of my comfort zone and tried different wines I thought I'd might like. Didn't check off anything I normally drink. Although I didn't find my favorite enough to purchase a bottle, it was a cute spot with a very hospitable staff and a charcuterie board (our fave!). When I mentioned I didn't find something to my liking from my flight of 6, I was politely offered 2 more based on what I told her I normally go for. The next to we're closer to it so I appreciated her help. I would definitely recommend. And their air conditioned room was perfect, just what we needed on this hot humid day. read more

Came here for the first time on a birthday date and I will definitely be back for round two. The energy from the moment I walked in was great, all employees were very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. We mentioned to our waiter that it was our very first wine tasting and she made this moment super special for me. They have great deals and a great choice of wines. Their cheese platter was my favorite part! They even gave me a complimentary wine of my choosing with two wine glasses and a tote bag. I definitely recommend anyone to go! read more

So we came here with another couple and had a really good time. We did a tasting of 8 and the variety of wines are fantastic. What I really appreciated was the order sheet gave a description of what the wines and other options were like. The server was also very patient and helpful with our questions. The staff was very friendly and inviting. We shared the charcuterie board which was a delicious variety of dried meats, cheeses, pickles, fruits and nuts. read more
