I can be pretty picky when it comes to coffee so I don't venture out to try new places as often as I'd like because I hate wasting money on burnt coffee. I do miss the days of a $3-$5 latte, but this place is worth the price! Great place to meet friends, work for a few hours, play games, or just hang out. Parking was easy, and the overall vibe felt friendly and very neighborhood-y. My biggest issue was the pricing. The Millennial sandwich is $14.50, but I was charged an additional $3 to have it on a bagel, bringing the base sandwich to $17.50. I added an egg for another $3, so altogether it was $20.50. For that price, I expected something much more substantial. There were only a few small slices of pepper, a thin smear of whipped avocado, and a very small egg round. It was fine, but definitely underwhelming for the cost. My flat white was $7.50: $5.50 base, plus $1 for macadamia milk and another $1 for the second espresso shot. I found the latter a little odd since two shots are generally standard in a flat white. The coffee itself was good, but the pricing felt steep compared with other coffee shops around Burbank and NoHo. I genuinely love supporting local coffee shops and understand that costs have gone up, but overall the food pricing felt inflated for what you receive. I'd also love to see the prices and upcharges more clearly displayed upfront. The space itself is wonderful, though, and I could absolutely see coming here to grab a coffee, work, or hang out with friends. For me, I'd just skip the food next time.

She loudly called my name and started telling me how I dumped my tea in the trash and at first I was confused because actually the trash was super full today and I literally had to push down a cup that was sticking out with my hand to make some space. I had no clue she was talking about the little bit of tea I had poured in the trash so I naively said that it was not mine because by I thought she was talking about the cup I pushed down in the trash. LOL Then she started raising her voice even more and said yes you did, I just saw you doing it! That's when I realized she was actually talking about the tea I poured! So of course I told her I won't do it anymore (I guess they use cheap trash bags that leak?) but I also told her that she should keep her voice down while talking to me next time. She was such on a power trip, I am not even sure if she understood what I meant. I looked around and some patron was staring at me because he heard the whole convo. Now, if you guys want to be upset about a small amount of liquid poured in the trash, then what about a dog sitting on one of the armchairs chewing on a milk bone treat? Is that ok? Because one day I showed up and there was dog hair all over the armchair where I like to sit. I was surprised but said nothing and used my lint brush to clean everything myself. Then another day I showed up again and I see a young lady sitting on the same armchair while her white Pomeranian was sitting on the other one across from her. Not only that but the dog was chewing on a milk bone treat leaving crumbs and saliva on the chair fabric! I could not believe what I was seeing. I am a dog owner, a vegan and an animal lover but how disrespectful of that girl to let her dog do that? She was staring at her phone the whole time, not caring about anything else. I tried to tell one of the employees but she decided not to do anything about it. So my question is why would you come to me with your loud mouth for a tiny bit of hot tea in the trash but the dog thing is perfectly fine? LOL Also if you do not want people to dump tea or coffee in the trash then maybe use common sense and do not fill it up to the top especially if I order some oat milk on the side. Another suggestion, you can ask me when I place my order if I need room like they do it at other coffee shops! I am always very careful when I grab my cup because the counter is super high, I am pretty short and I could easily spill hot liquid on my hand because they fill it up to the top. I am always fair in my reviews and I give credit to people who deserve it but I do not appreciate when an employee is being so dramatic and rude. It's ok to explain something to a patron, just be discreet, diplomatic and polite.

Went next door to the UPS to make returns (stood in line for ten minutes there) came back and still had to wait 20 additional minutes. Most places don't quite hit that invisible bench mark I've set inside my head. Well, the first sip of my dry (extra foamy) cappuccino from Saint Coffee shop stopped me in my tracks and briefly took me back to Florence. The sip was extra foamy and the cappuccino soft in flavor. I understand that cafés can be comfortable places to work, but in such a small space, it would be helpful if Saint placed some limits on laptop use during busy meal hours. Customers coming in to enjoy lunch or coffee together should also have a reasonable chance of finding a table. Being made to feel invisible while waiting to buy it is what finally lost me as a customer. There were only four or five people in line and two employees working, yet more than five minutes passed without even a basic acknowledgment. There was no greeting, no acknowledgment of the wait, and not so much as a "We'll be right with you." The employees appeared to be taking their time while the people waiting went completely unacknowledged. I don't expect anyone to roll out a red carpet, and I understand that making drinks takes time. But there is a difference between waiting for service and feeling completely ignored. A greeting takes seconds. Basic courtesy should not be the hardest thing to get at a coffee shop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had supported this business repeatedly. The coffee was never anything to write home about; the convenient location was what kept bringing me back. After this experience, even that has lost its appeal. I would rather go out of my way than keep spending money somewhere that leaves me feeling this unwelcome. A simple acknowledgment could have changed the entire experience. Instead, they lost a returning customer over the absolute bare minimum. They can keep the mediocre coffee. I'll take my money somewhere that makes an effort to earn it.
