Mocha

Moby's is a lovely little coffee shop. They have a delightful seating area where you can relax and read or have a nice conversation with friends. I love the decor of the shop. The staff was also very helpful for my first time explaining the specialty drinks they had and all their various options. I tried just a regular Mocha and a Blueberry muffin. The muffin was delicious and my drink was wonderful. If you are looking for a nice quiet spot to spend a little bit of time Moby's is definitely for you.

This is becoming one of my favorite places to come to for a study session. Parking in the neighborhood is easy, the ladies working the front are nice and the prices are always right. I think I came here over 10 years ago at their old spot and this new one is great. They have ample seating and it's quiet enough to get work done. I've stuck with their drip coffee the last couple of visits but I plan to try one of their speciality drinks one of these days.

I didn't feel very welcomed. The woman at the counter seemed either to be having a bad day or just not in the mood, and I couldn't tell which. I came in hoping to try a new coffee spot, something other than Starbucks, but I was met with a bit of an off-putting vibe. I usually get iced Americanos, so I asked about the price for a small, and it was a reasonable amount. When I asked about the price for a medium, though, she seemed frustrated, even though the place wasn't busy at all. I ended up ordering the medium, and while the service was quick, the drink itself was disappointing. I always get my Americano black, so I specifically asked for it that way, but when it arrived, it didn't look black at all. It also had an odd taste. I saw her make it, so I know she didn't add anything to it, but maybe the beans were off. Overall, it just wasn't a great experience, and I'll be crossing this place off my list.

A neighborhood staple! Have been going to Moby's for maybe 4 years now and love it to death. Their new location is huge, and comfortable. The staff is great, and so is the WiFi

Moby's is located in a small parking lot, but their space is as tight as their parking. Walking inside, you're welcomed by a variety of products form local small businesses, a comfy lounge area to work / relax, and aesthetic A-frames and menus. Music is audible, though not loud. A staff member soon takes your order, and it's made quite literally on the spot! I ordered my usual iced latte, and these were some tasty beans! They were on the sweeter end with not a hint of bitter of burnt. The milk made the drink extra smooth. My favorite part was that there was free Wi-Fi, making this the perfect location to either have a short break from work, meetup with friends, or even a quick stop to get work done.

I'm new to this spot, but I know it's been around! I discovered it when they were in between the old place and the new one. I love the vibes of the new spot. It's giving hometown coffee shop with no pretention just quality coffee, lots of seating and a nice staff!

I have been going to a different coffee shop almost every day within a 10 mile radius from my house in the last few weeks. Today I stopped by at Moby's. The cafe is a bit dated, has indoor seating and parking right in front. I got their house iced coffee which I wasn't a big fan of. It was too watery and I couldn't taste the coffee. I asked for milk but no sweetener. I honestly didn't taste the coffee. I'll probably try something else next time like a latte or cappuccino then update my review. I feel like just based on the iced coffee I can't rate this place properly. Customer service was ok.

Breakfast Turkey Croissant

This is a $12 egg, turkey, and mayo sandwich... I went in being optimistic given the reviews. I came in to eat some breakfast. When I got my plate of food I couldn't believe it. Overcooked eggs, a ton of mayonnaise, and turkey stuffed into the bread. Sad to say that the food made me sick. People are nice though.

Moby's is a no frills neighborhood coffee shop with a nice selection of pastries and all your caffeinated favorites. If you are in the area, this is a great independent shop to support. There is lots of seating inside and it's nice and roomy. It feels a little cluttered inside because every corner is packed with something different; a bin for free items from their lost and found, a corner for books. a corner of plants for sale, a corner for coffee accessories for sale. It's a little all over the place, but it gives off a big community vibe. There isn't an overall aesthetic here. The furniture is mismatched and there are handwritten notes everywhere . It feels very DIY. It's not your cutesy instragrammable coffee shop, but it has its own charm. I thought the coffee was OK. Service definitely lacked a little warmth and friendliness. It was packed with what I assume were regulars so you can see this place is well loved by locals. I'm glad I stopped by to check it out because I had only ever been to the Lake Balboa location. This shop is right next to my favorite nursery in the SFV so if I am in the area, I would stop by again for a drink on the go.

Where to park wasn't clear to us but it didn't take long to find free street parking a short walk away on Weddington. Ordering at this location is through a walk up window. However today it was fully occupied by a team member handling pick-up orders. There was another team member who seemed to be taking orders as customers walked up, but was also helping with pick ups. This was a bit confusing so we just waited until someone approached us which didn't take long. The husband chose the Bruxie SmashBurger (+ egg), opting to make it a combo with Waffle Fries and soda. I had the Chicken & Waffles. It all came out pretty quickly. The husband said his SmashBurger was fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. He loved the waffle fries. My chicken tenders were nicely fried, moist on the inside and seasoned well. The waffle was light and crisp. It all came together with the whipped butter and pure maple syrup -- so good! Service was great. Team members checked on us and refilled drinks. I do appreciate that they have packs of moist towelettes easily available for customers.

Thankfully we finally caved in because we've been sleeping on this place for years! It's located off of Lankershim Blvd & Academy Way, basically next to the Laemmle Noho 7 and the Saban Media Center. Bruxie was kind of hard to gauge on how to order - there's a walk-up window for ordering and pick-up orders, but employees can also walk right up to you and place your order for you. You can also order online ahead, so yeah slightly confusing but as long as you put your order in you're golden. They have four big tables outside along with counter seating on the sidewalk. If it gets too hot or cold, they also have seating inside an old train car that is purely counters only. We sat inside the train car, but the only caveat is that people are constantly going in/out and they sometimes leave the door open. They also have a water station inside the train car if you want to cool off. My wife and I both ordered the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot Chicken Sandwich and we shared the Loaded Waffle-Cut Fries. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time - if you're dining there, the employees bring out your food wherever you are and provide plastic utensils along with sauces. The hot chicken sandos live up to their namesake, packing quite a kick! The loaded waffle fries hit the spot. If you're in NoHo looking for some good chicken & waffles, Bruxie will satisfy! We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! They're open late too if you have some late night cravings (they close at midnight Thurs, Fri & Sat). There's street parking or you can park at the garage of the Saban Media Center.

We went up to the front and let them know the name we placed the order under and off we went. My wife and I opted to try their Bacon & Sausage Burrito and Veggie Burrito. Both had a hefty weight to them and were delicious. What added to the deliciousness was their house-made salsa and crema. If you love heat, their salsa is on point! Add the crema and you've been transported to another world. Staff was super nice and had our order ready when promised. We've been doing that for a few years now, so that should tell you something right there. Our order is fairly consistent: we each start with a mimosa that comes in a highball glass, so one is usually all we need. Next, we share an order of kimchi biscuits (you get two). So delicious! Packed full of kimchi, bacon and cheddar cheese, it's a nice combo of flavors that play well together. The interior is usually soft and warm, with a nice crunchy crust. Top that with a smatter of the cinnamon butter that it comes with...yum! Our choice of entree varies, anything from avocado toast, to their kale and seaweed salad or any of their other selections they have from their brunch/lunch menu. On this outing, my friend and I both opted for the bibimbap. I opted for the pork bulgogi while my friend got the chicken version. It comes with a generous amount of carrots, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and bean sprouts, and is topped with a runny, sunny side up egg that serves as an excellent sauce when you mix everything together, along with the gochujang sauce. We upgraded and got it with brown rice in the hot stone bowl. Worth it! The regular bibimbap is good, but when you mix in the crunchy crust that comes from the bottom of the stone bowl, you get an additional texture that makes the dish really stand out. The flavors already come together nicely, and the crunchy bits just enhance the experience. For dessert, we like to share the "lemon pie", which is actually a scoop of lemon gelato that comes in a glass that also includes graham crackers, topped with toasted marshmallows. A nice way to end the meal. And the staff! We usually either have Justin or Ann as our server, but everyone there is super friendly and helpful. They are consistently good at checking up on you and making sure you have everything you need. Just another 5 star reason of why we keep coming back!
