I had one of the most disrespectful and overwhelming experiences I've ever had at a retail store at Last Chance (1919 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ). The staff was beyond unprofessional and rude to everyone around -- including an elderly woman who politely asked if another cashier was available. Instead of offering help, the associate snapped at her and told her if she didn't want to wait, she could leave. Completely unacceptable. Shortly after, I was yelled at by an employee for not placing a shirt "properly" back on the rack. He told me he had just cleaned it and basically scolded me like a child to "keep it clean." That level of condescension in a retail setting is appalling. Worse yet, I was falsely accused of switching a price tag on a pair of off-brand sneakers that were clearly marked and worth around $60. The associate claimed -- based on her cell phone -- that they were $100 shoes, and when I asked her to check the cameras to prove I hadn't switched anything, she yelled at me and said she didn't have time for that. Instead of taking a moment to calmly assess the situation, I was treated like a criminal. This entire experience was humiliating and triggering. As someone who suffers from anxiety, I left that store in complete distress. It's mind-blowing how consistently rude and aggressive every staff member was -- not just to me, but to multiple customers. I've contacted local news outlets to bring attention to what's happening in that store. No one -- especially elderly people or those with mental health challenges -- should be treated this way. read more

Last Chance Clearance in Phoenix is a mad treasure hunt, but the thrill is still alive. Racks of name brands at prices that make you double-take and pretend you needed a new pair of shoes all along. The line is much shorter these days, thanks to a cashier overhaul--someone finally noticed the mob. They close off sections to restock, which means you get a taste of suspense, like a Black Friday starter pistol. The staff keeps things moving with a stoic efficiency. If you're willing to dig, you'll walk out grinning with victory. read more

If you have the time and energy to dig through piles and hunt for finds, with people around every corner and a mess of a place, this is for you! My family members have found great deals here and rave about it, but for some reason each time I go I feel overwhelmed by the setup (there is no setup or organization) and the line is always so long to checkout. Maybe if you're in the zone to dig and search and find deals this is a great place for you, but for me it was a bit all over the place and not worth the far drive out there. read more

If you can take your time and look among the racks and racks of clothes, you will find some hidden gems. And what a fun morning or afternoon! read more

Had so much fun here, and although it was crowded and a mess... if you are prepared for some shopping chaos you can enjoy yourself. I found some great finds but it took all day. There was a line to get into the shoes, but still worth it! read more

I came here around 3:30 on a Tuesday afternoon and it was super crowded; all the reviews saying it's a crapshoot are true. Too many people breathing down your neck to really get a good look at what they have. Prices aren't that great either for the quality of what they have in store. So unorganized and trashy in there too. Then again, with how many people are always crowding every aisle, it's no wonder the place can never stay orderly. read more

A hot mess. I really don't know how else to describe what you are subjecting yourself to of this is where you choose to shop. This has to be the most disorganized and chaotic shopping environment in the planet. The merchandise is just thrown everywhere which I think is more a reflection on the clientele than the employees, but I'm not sure. Honestly I'm not sure that the employees even try to straighten up. Maybe they figure what's the point? Either way, be prepared. And if you do find something, double check for the security tag, which apparently doesn't work because I got all the way home before realizing the young lady didn't remove it. Grrrr.... read more

My gosh, could you hire any more rude and awful attitudes??? This store has great deals but it's a mess. Sizes are in the wrong place about half of the time. Bring your patience. read more

While the items I purchased were a super value, you have to really enjoy the hunt...which I do, but only if I have the time! If I went in seeking a particular item, I'd be frustrated. Sizing was out of whack in EVERY department. Most shoppers were rude & pushed past me in the small clothing aisles (no fault of the store, just irritating). I'll go back for the bargains, but will go only when I have plenty of time. read more

Oh man, I was exited to check this place out because I do work at Nordstrom Rack. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. We walked in and confused what the line was for, apparently it's for designer section. So we walked in, looked like a very over packed goodwill. I wasn't impressed at all :-/ the stuff is everywhere, prices were decent still same price as Rack stores ( they apparently have like extra percentages off on certain days) it was joust hard to look through stuff when there is so many people. My anxiety kicked in so didn't buy anything and just left, disappointed. But oh well, I can at least say I checked it out. read more

I was intrigued by this place as it's basically the last stop for all of the Nordstrom Racks' clothing where clothing is ridiculously discounted. For example, today, a Saturday, all items with a purple stripe are 80% off. When I arrived, I was already apprehensive going in. There is no social distancing occuring. All signs and stickers regarding social distancing were being ignored. Masks are being worn - even then people weren't even wearing them properly, they were wearing them just so they could be in the store. Furthermore, due to the amount of people touching and grabbing stuff, things were left all over the place. It's not super organized, although I saw workers trying their best to keep it organized. Clothing wise, I can see why this is the last stop for the Nordstrom Rack stores. The items are name brand and some are great quality, but the majority of the items I could find at a Marshalls or Ross for the same price. It's a great place if you don't mind spending a few hours bargain hunting and shopping. I personally won't be going here again. read more

A Nordstrom famous department store last chance blowout " store in basement of mall bear Marshall's . I've found shoes & jacket here before but it's work to go through it all . It was a " zoo" yesterday with 50% off pink slipped items from already discounted prices . I didn't find anything but didn't spend much time . It takes time to sift through the racks and the crowds . Many name brand items and Nordstrom brands . Nordstrom used to be known for shoe selection too. Last chance has deals for the patient customers . read more

This place offers some amazing deals on name brand items, but the experience isn't for the faint of heart. You'll need a lot of patience and be prepared to do some serious digging to find the treasures among the chaos. It's not a kid-friendly environment either--definitely a place to shop solo or with adults. Also, be cautious as some items may be defective or previously used. If you're willing to sift through the clutter, you might find some great bargains. FYI- the employees here are absolutely miserable no customer service at all. read more

October 22, 2022. It's a battle here. We have to be careful, fighting alongside other shoppers who are all just trying to save a bucker too. Actually, I bought a watch and it was broken afterwards. They would not let me exchange it, or return it, or even give me any credit at all. So please double check everything when you buy it, there is shady here and they don't really care at all Customer service nonexistent. If you find a good article of clothing, shoes, or a discounted accessory, consider yourself very lucky. It's hit or miss for sure. I've been coming here for years, as a fashionable Male the selections are often unrelenting. Meaning that it's sparse and few options to choose from. Everything comes mostly from Nordstrom, so for the ladies out there, you can definitely find high quality clothing for the low. But again, please double check everything. read more

I purchased 12 dresses from Last Chance on 7/24/2024. The next morning I found out that two were defective. One dress had a split in the back shoulder, while the other had a lining that was much larger than the outer shell. The lining straps were broken and were attached with a plastic cord from the price tag. One has a lining problem and the other has a shoulder problem. I didn't notice this at the time of purchase. I called the store and Michael, the manager, told me to come in on Friday at 2:00 p.m. to see Alex to fix the problem. When I met the manager, Linda, at the store on Friday, she was rude and refused to help. I have communicated with the store several times since then, but they have been unhelpful. This is ridiculous. It's not a dress, it's a rag! It wasn't a big deal, but her words and actions were really nasty, which made me feel the need to let the seller know about honest business. read more

This is "shopping as a fun treasure hunt", not "shopping for efficiency". Merchandise is vaguely sorted by type and size, but gets more messy as you get later in the day. Be prepared to spend time flipping through items on the racks one by one and checking carefully for damage, etc. because there are NO RETURNS. However, from what I understand this place holds Nordstrom and Rack's returns, and I have found some real gems there for lowwwww prices. Some of my faves: Rifle Paper iPhone case for 99 cents, Nordstrom Halogen long cardigan for $6, Sweaty Betty hoodie for $20. Shoes are a special project - you might not always find the mate and the organization is worse than the clothes. Bring extra patience there. The line to check out is crazy long, so again, leave time for that too. It does move reasonably quickly, but busy times like weekend afternoons will always be crowded. IMO it's a fun way to spend a couple of hours and the deals are definitely worth it. But remember, no returns!! read more

You have to be in the right mind set to come here but it's worth it. We got into line at 8:30am on a Tuesday and was probably about the 50th person. The workers came out and gave instructions and then we all walked over. There was an initial rush but we were probably there for like an hour and a half and towards the end it was a lot less crazy. It's a lot of digging but there is some great finds! I've been 2x and both times bought a Longchamp bag for significantly less then retail. I also found a pair of wide calf boots! read more

You can definitely spend hours or a whole day at this store. The racks and aisles are always a hot mess but if you take your time and look thoroughly you will actually find some good deals. You do though have to have patience. The merchandise is usually decently priced. There are some items that you will question as to why the price is so high, but it's probably a high end brand. They do sell a lot of different brands, and they are usually brands that are sold at Nordstrom. The shoes are a hit or miss. Usually shoes hangout on the floor instead of the racks. If you have a cart, good luck getting through. Its always super busy on the weekends so it can be very chaotic. I like to stop by during the week when its not so crazy. Employees are typically not friendly and are just there to do there job. If you have patience, like to shop, and don't mind the craziness, stop by and do some exploring! Brands I have purchased here: BP, UGG, Hunter, Dolce Vita read more

This is the step below Nordstrom rack. It's a mess. Items are kind of organized by size and either top/bottom/dress but stuff is all over the place. That said, there are some good deals and nice brands. But you need to take time and definitely have patience. Bring water, cause you're gonna be there awhile. Wear something easy to slip clothes over, there are dressing rooms but the lines get long and there are limits. Be sure you like what you buy, cause no returns. Carefully look over items, because many have damage such as a missing button, tear, etc. most are easy fixes but something to be aware of. read more

Do Not waste your time in this store. The Salvation Army has better things! It's so unorganized and a mess don't bother! I bought a pair of shoes for $45. And when I removed the price tag underneath they were marked $22.00! Long lines to check out not worth the trip on my way to the airport. Just get another margarita and fly home and go to your local Rack! read more

If I could give zero stars .. I would. I live close... so I have tried to go at all different days and times... Honestly..... there isn't any good time. I don't have 4 hours in a day to look through this disaster of a store and then " try" to figure out where the 49 deep line starts. There is no rhyme or reason here. It's utter chaos. I think there should be lines for cash.... Maybe 1 line for single purchases.... It's just insane. I don't see all the great deals that some speak of. Mist stuff seems old and worn and damaged. I literally have never made it to the check out counter. Why? Because nothing is worth standing in line for that long. Nothing. read more

Can I say the selection here is incredible. I spent an hour here and found so many good finds. You'll have to make sure that you look at the entire piece of clothing before you buy as some things can be torn or dirty. They also close off the shoe area a few times a day to reorganize and stock it. So head there first when you arrive to make sure you get there before they close it. read more

I came here with a friend after she recommended it several times. The finds. The prices. Everything she said is amazing. But, she did offer a warning, have low expectations & be prepared to "hunt." I'm normally not a hunt for things on the rack kinda gal & I usually despise large crowds & stores with clothes everywhere. You know, on the floor, not in place, etc. but, I will say, because she gave me that warning, I braced myself. I think there are some hidden gems in here & you do need to be patient. I will probably come back. If you've got patience & time to spare, it's worth looking into. read more

Very disappointed in the changes that the new manager is making in the store. Getting rid of the "designer section" has caused mayhem in the store - and it's almost impossible to go in now without people running around, pushing, and shoving. The expensive items should be placed in their own section for the prices that they're charging. Nobody wants to pay for $300 shoes that are smashed under a pile of used & dirty items just because someone is hiding them for a discount ticket day. This place is going downhill read more

Worst customer service ever. The ppl working there are really rude no patience at all. Me and my daughter felt really uncomfortable shopping here a Chinese lady was really arrogant she threw away my green 13$ drink that I had barely bought I had left it outside kinda hidden and she saw me but I didn't think ppl would do something like that. But she threw it away. I understand there is no drinks allowed inside the store. That's why I left it outside. The clothes was really cheap only good thing. read more

First time experience and I was not prepared for the chaos of this store. I love shopping at Nordstrom's and select Nordstrom racks but this didn't even feel related. It is so disorganized many items were broken/ damaged. There aren't many people to help and the few I encountered were socializing with friends. Many racks were too crowded to move items to even look. The check out line wrapped through the majority of the main walkway of the store making it impossible to cross into different areas. Even the one item I found and considered buying I decided waiting in line and dealing with all the chaos was not worth it for many items being similarly priced to Nordstrom rack. Maybe if you have a whole day with nothing to do you could enjoy browsing around. read more

What a DEAL! This place is worth the time and energy to sit through and sort through their good deal$$$! I save hundreds of dollars on brands like Sam Edelman, Vince Camuto, Tory Burch, Nordstrom brands like BP...so many deals that each time I'm in Phoenix from Texas, I make a point to hit up Last Chance! For there only being two of these in the United States, I find a way to get here every year! (Be kind to Dressing Room attendants...this place is crazy busy and requires much patience.) read more

It's like someone took a Ross Dress For Less, dumped the contents of both a Nordstrom and a Thrift Store into it, and then released a pack of wolves. You will find incredibly cheap clothing that looks ready to fall apart. Or you'll find a designer brand of obviously high quality for a price that won't make you feel guilty. Clothes are stuffed together haphazardly on racks, handled with anything but care--two of the shirts I wanted to purchase had mysterious smudges on them, and since everything is non-returnable, I didn't want to take my chances. Don't think it's all bad however--the women's clothing seems much more abundant and accessible. Boxes upon boxes of assorted shoes, leggings, and accessories are to be found. If I needed a dress and some flats, I'd be in heaven! Overall, Last Chance is OK. You might hit the jackpot on a hot outfit...or you might also waste a lot of time finding nothing. It's stillworth a look. read more

The store features basically returns from other department stores come here as a last chance used clothes store. There are a ton of clothes here, all mixed nothing really organized but you can find a good deal. I did get a good shirt for $3.00 and a scarf from a designer brand for very cheap. I couldnt even find shoes that were the same size same pair. It was all random. Thing is if you go to the designated designer section, there is a line 4 at a time and you have a 3 minute time limit which is nuts. Also there is no one in the floor helping you all the staff are in the registers and security. Its literally a free for all and finding a deal is tough. read more

Love love love this place. 9 clothing items for $104. The other shoppers and lines aren't that if you come in the afternoon.

NOT for the impatient or agoraphobic. Absolutely great deals are to be had if you are patient and thorough. Some items are damaged either from returns or the overpacked store itself, so check your goodies thoroughly. read more

Get ready for cramped crowded and unorganized chaos and you'll enjoy yourself there. Not worth the shopping time and definitely not worth the waiting in line to check out time! I used to work for Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack for a number of years. Every time we had a damaged item, missing item from a pack, used returned item, etc. we send it to this store. I've always wanted to come here because Nordstrom is in my blood lol. I've also heard that people find designer items for a STEAL here. This place is disgusting. I expected it to be unorganized, and a messy but man this gave me anxiety just walking through the store. Everything and everyone is so close together. Social distancing is not enforced whatsoever. I couldn't walk because there were so many people in the store and everything is on the floor. BUT if you are looking for designer there is a glass case right next to the registers. I saw Givenchy, Valentino, Gucci, Christian Louboutin and more. They are mostly handbags, and small accessories. I was on the hunt for designer shoes but didn't see any. I tried to look on the shoes walls but it seemed impossible. I'm sure you can find some though, you just need patience unlike me. read more

Slightly chaotic but it's to be expected. Staff is helpful and you can find amazing deals if you are patient and dig through the racks. I went on a 50% off day and still snagged a peacoat, leather jacket and two blouses for $38 total! It's worth the trip. read more

I've been coming to this store for YEARS!!!! I love the massive amounts of stuff to go through but I hate how incredibly disorganized everything is. The employees always seem mad for some reason and the dressing room attendant is quite literally the rudest person I've ever encountered! I will still keep coming back cause the sales are good and they have awesome shoe selection BUT I wish they'd spend a bit more time training their people to just be nice. read more

Great savings!!!! Plan on spending lots of time! The shoes are very exciting! Watch for specials!!!!

It was so confusing to look for something. Actually you can go to other stores with branded style in a much lower price. Some of the shows has no pair ! It was a disaster with not enough staff and customer service was a joke! No one would care if you have questions . They would just ignore you or if they do acknowledge you, they won't even try to look for solutions t resolve an issue. I was disappointed driving so many hours just to have that experience. Will never go back there again and won't recommend. read more

This store was a disaster. Stuff thrown everywhere. Completely disorganized and dirty.

This store omg! I don't know exactly where to begin... Well I'm not going to lie they do have really good name brand items in general but., there is always a "but" you have to be very, very careful you will find authentic name brand and of course the "cheap name brand" if you know what I mean. Yes they also sale non authentic so just keep that in mind next time you are there. Also there is people in there who will offer you "authentic" merchandise outside of the business and that's a little bit sketchy as well. Besides those inconveniences be ready to be there for hours specially at the time of checking out. read more
