I left without purchasing the ring, and called the store with questions on the ring. Taylor and RuthAnne were kind and answered all my inquiries. So I returned with my husband and purchased the ring. Service isn't great, all the nice staff have left one by one. I had a bad experience as a consigner. My bag was accepted photographed and some through instagram. Store has a no refund policy. I went to pick up my check for selling my Goyard tote, and was told the buyer " found a tiny hole in the lining. So my promised check was not given, as they wait for bag to come back from the buyer. Shoes Chrissy cares more about the buyer than a long standing customer of being a consigner and a buyer. Just lost my trust, and faith in her business acumen. read more

The shop does not accept American Express and I'm sure we can all imagine why. Their return policy is extremely bad and their authentication process is not able to provide authentication documentation when asked. I purchased two items from this store that do not appear to be authentic. One includes a Gucci leather jacket, which after further inspection is actually made out of fake leather and the other item is a supposed Valentino purse that reeks of cigarette smoke and has no authentication evidence. When I contacted the shop a couple of days after my purchase, they offered to reconsign and only give me a 70% back if they were able to resell but I ended up losing all trust and being stuck with both items that cost me over $1000. If the shop is willing to refund me as a proper establishment would to make me whole, I will gladly return all items intact as i have not been able to wear them. read more

Wow! On my way to My Sister's Closet (MSC) & there's a new store in its spot: To Be Continued. MSC went out of business a week or so ago... I wanted a little sundress and a new sterling silver ring. Dresses were mostly $125 and up. The store's inventory/prices felt more like a Biltmore Fashion Park boutique. After the gym or shopping at TJ's, I'm used to coming in with $50 & getting a few cute things, all quality items & in good condition. But no, they don't need to be Valentino or Chanel. To Be Continued's inventory is exquisite, exceptional, extraordinary...but not in my price range. I admired many showstoppers & statement pieces, but again was shocked at the prices. If you want to drop cash on a stunning dress to wear to an event or hit your ex's wedding, this is the place. With designer shoes to match b/c they gotz shoes! All staff are super helpful & friendly, even while I'm telling them I don't have enough money to shop here ;) They shared that the store would cater to the clientele - when I talked about what my friends and I are personally interested in at this location - which I certainly hope they will. Store manager, Jojo with the Colorful Nails, informed me that their Scottsdale flagship (yes also in former MSC location) has a vast selection of jewelry. Good to know - I'll head over there for a cool ring. He also shared that To Be Continued would have lower priced pieces while the space next to them, Resale Revolution, would carry items $300 and up. I hope I got that right - it's confusing b/c clothing has tags with "TBC" but store also has signage with "Resale Revolution" at counter. They are so new, I think they're still designing... Again mad props to the GORGEOUSNESS that I feasted my eyes on - colors, textures, styles - but I haven't movie opted my first book yet. I hope TBC pivots to cater to those of us who love clothes & dressing beautifully, by carrying items that are fun/cute and affordable. Long story short, I purchased a Chanel messenger bag online at tbc consignment website bc it would be perfect for a " diaper bag" since I'm pregnant and it was a couple hundred overpriced then what they posted on their Instagram page. I called and ask why I was being overcharged and the young lady was basically calling me a liar and that She doesn't know what I'm talking about. But she also told me she is the main person that does" inventory " and that she had two bags. One in LA and in Scottsdale. I told her I wanted the one in Scottsdale , like hello? I live here why the heck would I want a bag over in LA if you told me you had " two". THEN SHE COMES BACK & SAID SHE ONLY HAD ONE BAG! Not TWO but ONE. This whole time your arguing with me saying you had two when you only had one! And who is Bella hadid? What a joke Chrissy the owner was not there at the time, but the young lady made her aware of the situation and the owner was suppose to give me a call to sort it out but the owner didn't even call me at all. One of her employees named kam had to give me a call/text to apologize. How embarrassing! Worst experience of my life! But at the same time she apologized to me towards that end because I called the store wanting to return the bag. I didn't want the bag anymore. I'm a client trying to buy this beautiful iconic bag and giving me such a hard time that I'm happy to return the item back and take my money somewhere else. This place is the worst in every way. I had a few brand new Gucci hoodies to bring in for consignment, and had the true displeasure of working with the staff there. They were rude and incompetent. While we were in the middle of going through their consignment procedure the staff member helping us literally walked away while I was in the middle of asking her something and she answered the phone. No excuse me, no hand gestures no anything just rudely walked away and I only was asking her a question because she asked if I had any. BUYER (SELLER) BEWARE Their mistake cost my 94 year old Aunt $962.00. After 8 months, they took back a purse they had sold & charged my Aunt. Claiming that the purse was not authentic but providing no paperwork. Make sure that what you buy or sell is authentic. Buyer: ask for an authentication report. Seller: make sure what you are selling is authentic, if not you will have to pay back any money received from this business (no matter how long the time period). Timeline: June 2023: 94 yr old Aunt received a call from TBC asking her to come to the store & p-up a Chanel purse which was not authentic & pay back $962. Item was consigned in Oct 2022, paid out in March 2023. She was given no authenticating documents. July 14 2023: Called TBC talked to Kendra, explained the situation and was promised a callback by Sunday the 16th. No call back July 26, 2023: Called, left message on answering machine for Kendra to call me back. Aug 2, 2023: Called, talk to Kendra, explained reason for call. Justin, supervisor, will call me by tomorrow. 4 Aug 2023: Called (4th time) talked to Kendra advised her that Justin had not called me. Immediately put him on the phone. He explained that a client purchased the purse. Took it to Chanel to have refurbished & Chanel stated it was not authentic. Client brought purse back to the store & they refunded client their money. My Aunt was asked to pay back her part. I questioned that upon receiving the purse in October wasn't it up to them to authenticate item they take in are indeed authentic? Per Justin unfortunately this was a case that "fell through the cracks". I said well it seems like you should eat the cost, since it "fell through the cracks". He stated said "no". Long & short it is up to the client to pay for their (TBC's) mistake. I then requested the authenticators report, gave Justin my e-maiI, he stated that he would send it via email to me. As of today, Aug 16, I have not received the authenticators report. I am disappointed not only in their lack of responsibility, but also of the terrible customer service. read more

As a manager of a high line auto store in the valley, I would have fired any one of my sales person on the spot, if they dared treated any customers/clients as my family and I were treated at this poorly and untrained pompous establishment. When I am out with my family i do not prefer to throw on my suite as I am in them enough. Mom does not like me spending money on her at the LV store in fashion square so my wife mentioned this place and maybe mom would let us purchase her some bags. It did not happen needless to say. I have to admit, I'm not a consign shopper... All of my past experiences at consign shops have been underwhelming. There's something about putting on someone else's old clothes, shoes, or accessories that I just don't love. While it's fun to think about the story behind each item, I'd rather see those things on other people than wear them myself. That is, until I walked into To Be Continued... this place is different! I was a bit intimidated walking into this boutique as you have to ring a doorbell to be granted access and the merchandise inside is almost all high end brand names. Some of which, I've never even heard of before! But once inside, the staff couldn't have been friendlier and the selection is amazing and such high quality that it doesn't even seem like a consignment store. I bet plenty of the items at this store have never even been worn before! I actually brought in a handful of items -- some were accepted and some were not -- and of those, a few were sold and one pair of shoes was not. The process of getting a cut check for me from my items sold was fast and easy as well. If you have any brand name items in your closet that you aren't wearing anymore and are still in tip top shape, I'd highly recommend bringing them here... who doesn't want a bit of extra cash as a result? And if you are in need of a new item (a purse, a dress, blouse, pair of shoes, etc...), this is a great place to shop as well! Looking forward to return visits! read more

Classy, Stylish, Trendy, are just a few words that I can express about this store. Matter of fact I have many positive fashion words in the dictionary that I would love to express about this consignment boutique but let me get just tell you the basics. I will first say ladies this is one of the fanciest tasteful consignment boutiques I have ever walked into. The decor, layout and display are very tasteful. Today was my first shopping experience with my best friend. As soon as we walked in the door a gentleman welcomed us and asked us if we had ever been there before. He explained how everything was laid out allowing us to touch and feel items that our eyes settled on. Impressed by the brand name designers we could not keep our hands off the beautiful handbag selection they had to offer. The clothing is neatly in order by size ranging from XS- Large. From tops to dresses to jackets to it all. Accessories are neatly laid throughout the store. Along with two glass cases filled with beautiful selections of designer jewels. Now my favorite part of the store was the shoe section. The cozy little shoe section has a comfy coach to sit on while you try on some sexy shoes. The large mirrors make it fun to try to find your favorite pair. The shoe area is ranged by shoe size with a selection of some of the most favorite top brand names. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this boutique. I also don't have any suggestions to make it better. Everything was just perfect. The prices were very reasonable. The service was amazing and the selection was what every woman would want. If I could give them more stars I would. I am highly impressed and will be shopping again. read more

I was back in Arizona again and stopped in, and I am happy to say I was warmly greeted. I asked a couple questions and was answered in a very friendly manner from two different employees. I tried on one dress but it didn't fit quite right. I was commenting on how difficult it is to find things in my vibrant color palette in high-end places when one of the employees suggested I go to the back part of the clearance store. For some reason I had already been to the clearance store but I hadn't made it to the back. I was grateful for that suggestion. Well done! read more

I took a few VERY nice designer items into TBC to consign. A Tom Ford Gucci black strap gown that was currently on 1stdibs for $4200. A YSL shirred cotton top that was also on 1stdibs for $795, (I paid $2500) A current Donna Karan 3 piece suit with simple skirt, silk animal print shirt that matched the lining in the short jacket. A flounced black knit Prada dress for which I paid $3800. A Patricia Dennis beaded, backless fitted gown, purchased at Neiman Marcus. And...a pair of current Chanel slacks and Chanel skirt. The very rude person, who was ridiculously attired...decided they weren't for TBC, without looking at the labels. So I didn't bother to bring in the 4 Chanel bags from the car...all perfect, all in original boxes. They went to Fashionphile, where I received 85% of the sale price. I still have three closets full of great designer pieces, many Chanel, Gucci, Prada, YSL. Obviously will not take to TBC. read more

This is a poorly managed and snobby consignment store. They sold a handbag of mine and never paid me and only when I came in with my paperwork and after lots of back and forth whispers and over-the-shoulder looks, they paid me. I had a belt I brought in and was told it still didn't sell so I went into follow up and found out that it was in the back room and not on the sales floor. I asked how it is suppose to sell if it's in the back? They just shrugged and said, I don't know. I left with my belt. Then the other day I went to follow up with a necklace that had been there awhile only to find out it had no tags, they could not locate it in their records and again no one knew how long it had been without a tag and why it was not tagged. I also took that home. A real disaster of a place. Stick with My Sisters Closet, they know how to run a business. read more

Please beware of this store. I purchased a Chanel bag for $4000 to use as a travel bag. It had a metal strap and I thought it would last a long time. On my first trip a week after buying the bag it breaks on the trip. I called the store and they asked me to bring it in. They sent it to Chanel and had it fixed for me. I was very grateful. When it was returned 1-2 weeks later, I was excited to take it on my next week long trip. I broke again - in multiple places! I was not aware that metal straps could break. FYI: I did not put heavy items into the bag either. I did not have time to take it back, but I mentioned it to the store clerks on two different visits saying how I spent so much only to have a bag that is damaged. In January, a male clerk told me to bring it in and they could have it repaired again. I did and spoke with a different clerk named Brittany. She basically said she could not help me since I had purchased the bag a year ago. I was like okay, I spent over $4000 on a defective bag and you will not guarantee your product. Please beware and use caution when purchasing luxury used items from this store. When you have issues, they will not help to resolve them. Now, I have a VERY expensive Chanel bag that is basically worthless. All she said was to take it to Chanel. I am sorry but I work darn hard to be able to purchase this bag and to be told -too bad is very insulting. Do not buy from this store! Buy from a real luxury store with a guarantee. It definitely is a nice looking store, and they do have wonderful items. My review is not based on my experience as a buyer (since I haven't bought an item from them), but as a consignor. If you decide to stop reading the review here, all you need to know is that I, personally, will NEVER be consigning with them again. And, I have been consigning items for over 15 years (in NYC, LA, and Chicago), so I know how it generally works. I brought in an item in May, and it got a price of $480 (50% payout, so I would receive $240). At least, that's what it said on my consignor account page. Well, the item became "unavailable" when I checked back in end of August, so I called the store and asked them what that meant. They explained to me that the item is now on layaway, and someone put down a deposit and they have 30 days to pay off the balance. I said okay. Jump to middle of September, the item still says "unavailable" and the payout amount is $0. So, I called the store again, and they said that they will be paying, and the money will be there in 2 weeks. Now, the only reason why I was calling them was to see if I can pick up the item if they money isn't in (I was going to Chicago and I know a great shop who would have bought the piece for more than $240)... but they assured me that the buyer will pay it off soon. So, I said okay. I kept on checking the page, and the item remained "unavailable", so I finally called the store again this morning. This time, the lady who picked up the phone was extremely helpful, and she actually looked into my account. She told me that the buyer is passed due date, so she will contact the person. She called me back within 30 minutes and told me that the buyer paid off the balance and the check is ready. So, I go there to pick up the check. It takes a while, but this other woman (I'm assuming she is the owner or the manager of the shop) comes out and start mumbling how the payout is going to be $220, then says $202 something...so I said "I thought it sold for $480, at least that's what it said on the website". She tells me that this person bought it when it was 20% sale, so the actual sale price was $400 something or other (she mumbled, so I couldn't really hear the exact number), but she goes on to say that she can give me $240 this time. Then, she cuts a check for $220 and mumbles how the final sale price was $406 or something like that. Okay, so I am really confused at this point, and I just left the store. I was hoping to see the actual final sale price that the store received, but it was just my check amount. I didn't bother going back to the store and demanding that I get paid $240 --- if it actually sold for $406, then it kind of sucks that now my payout is $203, but I do understand. But, given this whole ordeal with layaway business, then getting less than $240, I did leave the shop feeling ripped off. If the item "sold" for less than the list price, then PUT THAT IN THE CONSIGNOR PAGE. Also, put the date of the layaway. This was the most non-transparent process that I've experienced, and that's really a terrible business practice. I was so excited to finally find a high-end consignment shop in Phoenix metropolitan area... but I guess I will keep on bringing my items back NYC or LA. read more

Well I fell in love with a pair of Balenciaga sneakers that would of come home with me but didn't for 2 reasons: reason #1 the shoes were only $50 less than retail and obviously well worn and had no box. When I commented on this the only response from the older lady working there had was "maybe you should look next door....the price point is lower....they may have something you could afford". The ladies walked me over to their new shop TBC2 which carries deeply discounted merchandise from TBC as well as the sportswear I was looking for. Sent three items to be sold, and I sold them myself for double the amount I was going to get for these items. Okay, that's fine I understand but what I don't like is they ruined my Hermes box. The person who does intake ruined the Hermes box while writing directly on it... she told me she would fix it no problem. By the time I picked up everything because I sold it all myself, there's no way the large pen mark could be fixed 3-4 months after that happened. Ehhh this store leaves a lot to be desired. Obviously the store and management is trash but I'm absolutely in love with their Instagram. If your looking for a laugh tune into TBC Instagram stories where you can watch them showcase new inventory mixed with the same 10 pieces that they cannot sell. I love to watch them scramble for adjectives to describe the same Chanel flap. For extra fun take a sip of wine every time you hear Palladium or Mona Lisa smile. It's absolutely adorable how little the staff knows about fashion and pricing. I highly recommend associates use a thesaurus to better there vocabulary but that would just ruin the fun. read more

One of my favorite shopping destinations in Scottsdale for several years now until this past weekend. I am so disappointed about my last interaction with the shop manager. While enjoying a second honeymoon, my husband presented me with a gorgeous handbag. He bought it at TBC and was promised that he would receive an "authenticity card" and the receipt mailed to him. He was also assured that if I had any reservations about the handbag I would be able to return it for a full store credit since I have a piece currently on layaway. While I was thrilled to get a Chanel from my hubby, this 'limited edition' apparently has no card, came in a shoe box and a dust bag twice as big. It is also cream and has a visible line/scratch. Every Chanel I have bought from TBC has come with its own box tagged accordingly with dust bag to fit, impecable and proof of authenticity card. The shop manager knows my preferences by now since I have bought several handbags from her. Since we are vacationing out of state, I called the store right away. The sales person said the Manager was not there but that she was certain she could locate the card, the receipt and that she would call me back Monday. No call on Monday so I followed up on Tuesday. The sales rep said that the Manager was in fact there but was told to tell me there was no card and can't remember what happened to the receipt. I asked to talk to her and she came to the phone with a horrible attitude. I shared with her that I was not 100% happy with the handbag and that per the agreement with my husband I was going to bring the handbag back for a full store credit. She said that was not going to be possible because I had said the handbag was beautiful and I could always pay for a certificate of authenticity if I needed one with Chanel directly. She never apologized for the lack of follow up or said she could see if they can find the card, - nothing. She kept yelling the bag is real and that is that. When buying an investment bag, the luxury item itself is as important as the experience and the commitment to follow through a promise. TBC failed each one of them. read more
