One, if not, THEE BEST coffee spots you'll find around!!! I was on my way out of the Boise area…read moreback to eastern Washington and needed coffee. I saw that this place had stellar reviews and decided to give it a try--and WOW, am I certainly glad I did! Walked in at 9:30a on a Tuesday morning and most of the people here were oldies. That said, the vibe is very unique. Lots of wood and leather, just like the photos showcase! The only difference is that it doesn't seem as clean as some of the photos show, but I digress.... The coffee was amazing. I only had a White Chocolate Macadamia iced latte and WOW, was it good! I could tell that if I went with any other type of coffee drink--or even just a black coffee--it would have been great. The baristas were friendly and helpful with recommendations, and they were really quick with getting drinks out even though it was a full house! While it's 30-45 minutes outside of Boise, if you have the opportunity to stop here, YOU MUST. The high ratings don't lie!

We came to this cozy shop and we weren't sure if we could bring our dog in. We stood outside trying to figure out what we should do with the dog but a gentlemen came out and told us they were dog friendly. He was very kind and welcoming. We stepped inside and the ambience was so inviting. It was like a cozy library. They had a gluten free cookie option, muffins and other treats along with of course tea and coffee. It has amazing reviews and high stars and definitely a must try if you're in Caldwell, Idaho (near Boise).

My first time in Boise, visiting a lifelong friend, we hired Mike Raymondi to be our guide on the…read moreOwyhee River for a day of catch and release trout fishing. The three of us, retired women with modest fishing experience and a love for nature, instantly felt at ease as he selected the waders, boots and gear in the well-organized TRR store in Eagle ( when you go there, look up, you'll have a fish's point of view- watery blown glass ornaments suspended from the ceiling). We followed Mike's truck to the river where he selected a sweet spot clear of snags and sunken hazards. The birds and awe-inspiring panoramic beauty made focusing on the orange indicator a bit of a challenge. Mike gave us a quick and articulate tutorial on casting, mending and setting the lines, then he spaced us out on the length of the river where he grew several sets of eyes, simultaneously guiding our line work and alerting us to the bobber's behavior, which you see before you feel anything. I missed several nibbles because I saw a tanager or a flicker, but we all hooked and I landed a big brown trout with lovely speckles and no wounds from the brief fight we had in reeling it in. The big takeaway about a good or bad day fishing, according to Mike, is this: hooking and landing combine a multitude of very different skills, and many people who say the fishing was bad, missed the nibble or the set, and failed to catch what fish were there. To me, there is no bad day of fishing if you are in the care of a competent guide, supplied with proper gear, a spectacular picnic lunch (kudos to Tasso in Eagle) and in an exceptionally beautiful piece of God's country, which was the case for us. Now for those of you who believe the only value in fishing is catch, catch, catch, this review will mean nothing. Mike mustered all of his powers to switch out the types of nymph flies (we were nymphing this time), and we had a spare afternoon, but you can't make fish eat when they don't wish to. Nonetheless, we felt satisfied, happy and properly looked after by TRR's professional guide service.

They were great with a beginner like myself, who has gone fly fishing only one other time with them, all the way to my son who has fly fished several times. They gave my daughter & I, a quick, but detailed lesson before fishing. We both caught more fish than we could count. They were great with my husband & son too who caught nonstop fish. They know the River extremely well & the fishing spots, even better. They were fun, patient, knowledgeable, & funny. They provided the gear; & fitted us prior to going out on the water. The lunch was wonderful & we had a choice of bakery sandwiches, with pasta salad, cookies, & chips. This was a great experience & we plan to make it an annual trip.

First the shoulder straps tore away from the pack and then all of the strapping material deconposed . I called and spoke with a woman about it and she said that I probably didn't store it properly . I told her that I have packs that are 30 years old that are stored in the same location and they have zero problems . She finally admitted that they had problems with that pack and it was faulty but she wouldn't fix it . She offered me a newer pack at a discount . I could see this wasn't going anywhere so I told her thank you and hung up . Bottom line the is the material for the straps was junk from China and they knew it and were at fault but they didn't back their product !

The pack itself stayed snug on my chest while hiking up mountains and walking through washes. I originally ordered the regular Raptor pack and it didn't fit my Bino's and I immediately contacted BC and they had me ship back the original and replaced it with this "Mega" size which fit my Bino's great! The communication with them was ultra smooth and "Jen" is so awesome and great with understanding your needs. She kept a solid line of communication through every step of the way. The build quality on these are amazing and have all kinds of pockets to hold my gear and sidearm. It makes you feel a lot safer out there especially because we saw some fresh MASSIVE cougar tracks while out. Definitely a large male in the area so having protection so handy gives you a little more sense of security. I don't ever want to go out in the field without it again. It really was the missing link to my pack out and now it is a staple. This company is top notch and so are their products. They genuinely care about your product and your needs and it shows. We need more companies like this in the world. Thanks for taking care of us out in the field with these great products!
